    LYRICS:
A swollen tongue, a plastic gun
Red burn from an orange sun
These oil rigs will crack and run
These palm trees will be chopped to a stump
I've wandered, seen visions, I never could fit in
I'm out there, you'll find me, I never lost that easy
You imitate, all night stay awake
    You study ancient intelligence
It's a lonely life by candlelight
To make believe, you talk to the dead
I've wandered, seen visions, I've gone off the deep end
I'm out there, you'll find me, I never lost that easy
My drunken confession, sick in the bathtub
While you take your make-up off
    You take yourself so serious
If we didn't laugh, we're crying all the time
No matter where I've been, I never could fit in
Don't worry where I'll be, I never lost that easy

When cops and robbers came out in 06 i thought this band sounded too polished for an indie band, i mean i still do, but i cannot deny the fact how mesmerizing the vocals are. Definitely a good solid band.

I ran into matt the keyboard player in a hotel lobby bathroom the morning after seeing them. I said great show matt! He was surprised anyone recognized him he had just joined the band. Saw them 4 times that year and at one show the bass player shook my hand during a song. Just me ha idk

Well I don't think you've heard of it but Balloonshop is one of the greatest and most inspiring youtube channels to comedy channels. Olan was part of the three man group that split after college and is the only one to still have a fully functioning channel of the three. The other two have great channels just haven't been posting much (thomas is hilarious). Olan put a video for his fall collection of clothes with this song in it that brought us here.

    • @wittypseudx6839
      @wittypseudx6839 6 лет назад +2

steadycracker 7 the intro to stranger things is not this. theyre similar with the synth and the spooky arpeggio and the heart beat theme but theyre different. this is faster, the heart beat style beat in the background is a different pattern, different notes too
