    A slide pop-up full of texts was pretty messy when I was watching. I think keeping the text but reducing the background's opacity is easier to follow.

    Which entity creates the 3DS cryptogram - I take it in the case of Network Payment Tokens that would be the card scheme as soon as the aithentication request reaches VISA/MsterCard?

    Regarding the authentication flow, just wondering after the Card is confirmed by the issuer (ACS), can the system proceed to with the authorization without responding back in step 4, 5 and 6?

    During some known international ecom transactions in India on online websites, 3d secure page keeps onloading in blank and it says payment failed without even any otp coming..
    Can u elaborate..
    I already have paid successfuly with the same card to the same merchant multiple times before..
    Then, I tried with other cards too, the 3d secured page doesn't load and it says payment failed...No otp nothing..
    All of it is internationally enabled for ecom..
    Is that a problem from the merchant side??

      It appears to be an issue with 3D service itself . However there could be some other technical issue as well. Also try clearing cache cookies of the browser and try again

      @@ezeefied I tried after cleaning cache too but it's happening again and again with different cards and it's happening a long time , 5 days .
      Bank says everything okay ,they didn't had any transaction like that and merchant says no problem with them ..Try another bank..
      But it's happening same ,every time..
      M frustrated

    Could you please expand a bit MPI term? What is this and how it works?

    • @ezeefied
      @ezeefied  Год назад

      Merchant plug in (MPI) is a piece of software . What is basically does is prevent frauds by validating the account number on the transaction in the ACS on issuer side and confirm if it’s enrolled for 3DS . This whole process works like a look up

      @@ezeefied thank you for your response. This algorithm is pretty clear. But who implements it? I mean, I doubt it there are in-house engineers on a merchant's side which have an access to the ACS, aren't there?
