Okay. I have been playing this deck for like 4 hours. Hands down my favorite new deck in standard. Chandra doubling Ill-timed explosion is nuts. All the synergy is amazing. You have outdone yourself sir. So good!!!

lol, can confirm I got to diamond with this deck. Torch the witness really is weird, but it's sort of like a card draw. However Teferi has insane synergy with Jace and Ral.
Glad to hear this, Ral seems nice, but going izzet is a bit of comitment so that will probably be the limiting factor (you kinda need to go jeskai for this to be a control)

It depends what you see in your ladder games, but I instantly feel I would get eaten with aggro with this version, as it's very top-heavy overall it feels. Those are just quick observations, didn't import/test so might be wrong, but wanted to at least help a bit :) Gl with it man! PS. Oh, add Beza maybe?
It's question to viewers more than to me - I personally switched to standard.. because it was slower than historic, allowing for more decisions 🤷♂️ Also, definitely way more accessible as you need less cards/wildcards to make standard decks :)
Yep... And that ain't acident - I couldn't buy this pre-order bundle, because shop didn't work as it should, made ticket, it was ignored for days. In the end, I had to buy all packs at worse rate than pre-order, just to make video for day 1. It was pretty frustrating :P So ye, I actually don't have this style because of this :) Didn't expect a parallax story time, did you 😂🤷♂️❤🦥
@sloth, question. Do you think abzan innkeeper's talent could be another good version of the deck? When watching your past video on the golgari deck, and a very past deck that was orzhov superfriends, it made me wonder if you could mash the two together to make somet ype of superfriends control deck with the vraska/talent combo in it, but the other walkers get much better with talent too?
You can do it, but not sure if going 3 colour is really worth it - for golgari you already have Wrenn, Lili, Vraska and Ashiok (or even Nissa) - if anything I would skip Vraska plan and go selesnya maybe, using white planeswalkers instead of black (not sure if it's worth it). You can definitely go Abzan, it should be decent, but not sure if it would be upgrade from this version overall ❤🦥

Blue just seems the weakest it has ever been in Bo1.] Pretty solid so far, although if a deck can sneak something like a Vraska on the field it gets difficult. Might need some additional straight up planeswalker removal options, but we'll see how the meta develops. And mono red, of course, more insane than ever, can kill you on turn 3 or 4 if you don't get a lockdown or enough removal. It takes a very patient person to level with control in Bo1. There are times you will lose 5-10 games in a row and you will have to fight through those moment to level with a 52% win percentage (if you play well!). It will be slow!
Cool but the mana base is a bit rough sometimes Hopefully we get better lands to fill the void left by the Innistrad slow lands rotating out in the next set Until then, with how creature heavy the meta is, I think Boros control could fare better even though it's obviously bad into any control mirror
Boros is better vs aggro overall, but then you get matched vs control decks and you wished you went jeskai - that's my usual experience 🤷♂️ I didn't have too much mana issues here, though I expected them, so I think it's still good enough. But yeah, definitely overall you raise solid points
Boros control has access to a lot of great burn and a decent creature land for those matchups. Heartflame duelist is also an all star. With Chandra quintorious and jaya you have a great package of planes walkers. Been my best overall performing deck for a year even with rotation (lost farewell)

I get the point, you are correct, but keep in mind it's you who decides when to play it. So often, you can force more creatures from your opponent, stall, block to save life total etc., usually it doesn't hurt in any way, if you play it smart. And most of times, it literally hands you off free wins thanks to having this card :)

Temporary Lockdown with tokens creatures seem weird to me. There are situations where you have tokens you don't want to get off the feild.
