According to Always Believe, they noticed the unopened Resistance stall before May 4th and when it opened it had stuff mostly related to the vintage line of Kenner figures such as shirts and hats and a box with the reproduction figures. Some of it is still there.
As for the plastic Build Your Own stand in the Trading Post, it appeared around summer maybe a little before since I hadn't seen it before earlier in the year. When I got my Magic Key last August, I remember seeing white and yellow blades in Tomorrowland which I didn't see before the parks shut down because of Covid. It looks like they were going through the stock of parts from the Covid closure because around winter or so the parts were running short (no green or blue crossguard emitters). The shortage seemed to continue when it looks like there was a restock during the summer, I noticed throughout July and August when I was there. I managed to build the Mace Windu hilt though the purple crossguards are still out.

Have you traveled with your NeoPixel saber yet? I’m going to WDW in October and will be at the Oogie Boogie bash all costumed up ideally with my lightsaber. I have a 36inch blade and have never traveled by plane with it before. Any tips?

Ooh I normally drive when I visit Disneyland (4hrs) so I have not flown with lightsabers yet. From what I’ve seen others say, putting it in a carry of is fine of if you can fit the blade into a large piece of luggage that works too.
