    I was about to disassemble the V7 just like you said you did in the video...but fortunately, saw your video, popped off that little piece that I didn't even know could pop off. Cleaned out the hair and bam! works like a champ again. Cheers!!!

    The most helpful thing on the internet right now! I was just about to drop $20 on a new brush, but thanks to you, I'm back in business. Also, every member of my family (including the baby, and the dog) are going to have shaved heads from here on out.

      my apologies for the late response. We have had a baby and moved house. I haven't made a lot of videos in a while but we are getting back to it! :)

    THANK YOU!!!!! I had been very happy with mine since I got it at Christmas... then today it stopped working. Owners manual is useless. I found your first video, which did not fix my problem, but this one did it! Thank you so much, I never would have figured this out on my own. Hair wrapped around the end.

    Thanks!!! that little piece - I never would have imagined it pops off, had to use something to grab it and take it apart with a little force, cleaned the mess of hairs it had in it, and force it back on (had to hit it on the floor for it to pop back in all the way so the brush could fit back in its place) and it works like a charm! as fast as it was when it was brand new (also cleaned the front wheel, which also pops out of its own housing and is EASILY cleaned FYI everyone).
    Anyway. thanks again! postponed replacing this great bot for who knows how longer! saved me some money, thumbs up!! :)

    In my case it took two months to blosk the main brush. I also needed to use tools to remove this "plug" as it need force to remove. Also remove the side brush. Good job , thank you.

    Thanks man! My robot was dirty so I opened and cleaned it. Onece I put I back together it backed up and the red light appeared (obvious error). I thought a sensor was dirty (even after my cleaning) but I also checked the roller as per your recommendation. Thought this part does not disassemble. Good catch! Sometimes the easiest solution is at the most obvious place. Cheers!

    Hubby was about to lose hope on our vacuum but fiddled around and took off that small spinning squarish part of the turbo brush and voila! the brush was spinning again! Thanks for this video, it was helpful!
    Did your vacuum beep 4 times, then turn red? That's what made me indicate it was the turbo brush problem.

    Hi, mine was hardly moving, managed to clean it, but it still does not spin. I guess also the little hole in the cleaner itself, where you put the second part of the brush you fiddle with (so on the video it would be on the left) should spin, but mine doesn't. However I am really struggling to take it apart to clean it. do you know how? thanks

  • @muralinarayanan1867

    My roller is now difficult to put it back into the slots. It appears that it is 1 cm longer. How did you take out the end on the moving side of the roller? I had push hard to put it into the slots and afterwards it doesn't roll or move freely

    • @JMWConceptsTheOfficial
      @JMWConceptsTheOfficial  7 лет назад

      Hi Murali, which roller do you mean? The carpet brush or the little wheel at the front? If it is the front wheel, check there is nothing trapped in there, hair or string or anything.
      If it is the carpet brush that you mean, there is a little square fitting on the brush that slips into a square housing inside the vacuum. It should not be hard to get back in at all, you shouldn't need to push. If you turn the vac upside down with front of it pointing away from you, take the yellow cover off the carpet brush. On the left end of the brush, there is a square axel part that does not come off the vacuum. On the other side, there is another square that can pop off for cleaning. When replacing, fit the left side back into the square hole, and the right side should slip straight in.
      I hope this helps!
      Please gimme a thumb up and subscribe for more if it helps! :)

    Thanks for the help. I did too have problem to take off the part where the hair was. But it whent off smoothly wiht a pincer. Thought the cleaner already was done for :( Do you, by the way, experience the water tank dripping. I thought it wouldn't becouse of the hose in the tank?! Or am I missing something?

      Hi Mooy0021, I'm glad we got it back going again for you! I have another fix video on the channel and will upload updated repairs as I need to them. Feel free to subscribe for more!
      Yes my machine also leaks from the water bottle when it is in which is part of the reason I rarely use the mopping. The good news is that this is fixed on the new model but it doesn't help us with the original one!
      I will be contacting Chuwi to find out if there is a part we can fit to stop the leaking and I'll let you know.
      Thanks and happy (lazy) vacuuming!

    My V7s pro has one wheel that goes at normal speed and one that goes very slow. The result is that my V7 runs around in circles and if it encounters an obstacle it just slams into it, violent backing up and than shutting down. I've tried to clean everything like in your videos, but it didn't work. I now am wondering if I should just replace the slow turning wheel or the front sensors? Any other suggestions or solutions I can try?

    • @JMWConceptsTheOfficial
      @JMWConceptsTheOfficial  6 лет назад

      Hi Kristof,
      I haven't had that problem myself(yet!).
      If you have cleaned everything, wiped down the sensors etc then I'd consider the wheels themselves. If you spin them by hand, do they both have the same resistance or is one harder to turn than the other?
      I had a quick look around and this looks like it could be helpful.. Keep up posted. I would like to know how you go. Good luck.

    • @Aeiacobelli
      @Aeiacobelli 6 лет назад

      I watched that one first, and then came to this one. It’s just spinning, backing up and stopping. Removed wheels, bumper, cleaned brushes and axels, sensors... I’ll try it all again to see if I missed anything.

    • @JMWConceptsTheOfficial
      @JMWConceptsTheOfficial  6 лет назад

      If you've checked all of those things and there's nothing trapped or wedged in any of the moving parts, stopping it, I'd begin to think one of the sensors may be faulty. Normally when they go forward a small bit then backing up and stopping, something is creating drag. It means then robot is working too hard. Maybe try covering the drop sensors and pushing down the lift sensor, then trying to get it to run. See if both wheels turn properly.
      How annoying!
      Good luck! :)

    Hi, thanks for the fix! I seem to struggle with the exact same thing. Just one question - how did you remove that part of the turbo brush that should be rotating freely? Mine is hardly rotating and I can´t manage to get it off the brush without potentially breaking the darn thing altogether... :/

    • @JMWConceptsTheOfficial
      @JMWConceptsTheOfficial  7 лет назад +1

      Hi +juutuubpunktkomm, sorry for the late response. Do you mean the part I am fiddling with at 4.25? That should just pop straight off. If it doesn't there may be a build up of hair or something holding it on. Alternatively, if you have used the mop function a lot, there may be a CHANCE it may be rusted in place but I would doubt this. Let me know if you can't figure it out and I'll use my machine to try and work out what the problem may be. 😊
