i agree with you on the pricing, $12 probably would’ve made more sense. the earlier series tweens retailed for $20 but had super detailed all-fabric clothes, jewelry, accessories, and so much more articulation. this doll is pretty cute but seems more like an $8 price difference to a standard tween doll vs a $5 difference. mermaid dolls aren’t really my thing so i don’t plan to buy any of these but i appreciate your review!
Totally agree, I know $12 is only a few dollars cheaper but it feels like a better price point

The box art is gorgeous 😍 She is very pretty but I prefer my mermaid dolls to be able to transform to humans (which is why I never got into Mermaze) though I do like her tail a lot more than I thought I would! Her hair is more flowy in the stock photo so that’s why you probably didn’t notice the headpiece. Thinking of Mermaze, weren’t they advertised to stand on their fins too but it also didn’t work all the time? Yep her tail changed color too from a greenish to blueish but hmmm interesting it filled with water. I think $10-$12 would be a better price.
$12 would have been good to me, I know it’s only a couple bucks but still 😅 I do looooove a good transforming mermaid too!
I definitely agree that 15 is a bit much. That would most likely make her 20€ for me in Greece, and for 20€ I for sure would pass. MH Day Out are 17 and have articulation and layering, + some accessories (Those dolls haven’t released where I live and I’m dying to get them but I guess they’d be 20€ or 23€).
Oof yeah I forgot about that line…for sure when you compare the 2, for just a bit more MH is the way better value

They're cute. I hope the hair isn't polypropylene, but that's typically what's used for budget dolls
I am terrible at telling hair types but I don’t think it is! If it’s poly, it’s the softest poly I’ve ever felt lol
@@FaeryTaleDolls i believe the tweens typically have nylon hair, and i believe the other review i’ve seen for a tweens mermaid doll did say it was nylon hair
