Hey Ashley, I studied for a non-design bachelor's degree and was accepted to UBC MArch a few days ago. Before going to school in September, I am looking to learn new programs to prepare myself. Does UBC have any preference for what programs the students should use? For 3D, should I learn SketchUp or just jump straight into Revit? Love your videos, they helped me a lot when I was working on my applications. Thank You!!!
Hi BC87! Congratulations 🥳 This is awesome. You're going to have a wonderful time. At UBC rhino is heavily used and recommended for 3D. It's always good to prepare for school however you will also have the opportunity to learn the software while at school but it is wise to start before hand. I would also recommend learning Adobe Creative Suite, mainly illustrator, Indesign, and photoshop. Keep me posted on your journey through school 😊
