Thanks for the awesome trip down memory lane! I’ve been collecting BBW for about 20 years and did floorsets in 2015-16. The Fresh Picked line was so awesome both years. My faves were tangerine, pear, and cherry (launched the next summer in hand soap). I really wish BBW would go back to basics with stuff like that rather than releasing multiple forms of the same fragrance in a single season. Thanks for sharing!

Gosh that whole collection with confetti cake pop and Margarita cupcake was the best scents and packaging ever! I still have a love all of those scents! Margarita cupcake is so so good! I always pair it with princess by killian perfume to add a marshmallow green tea scent to it and it's perfection 😊

Great video Melissa! Peach Honey Almond was really good, I remember having that one. Coconut Lime Verbena is very nostalgic for me; I have the dupe for it from Dirty Soul Soap Co. I know exactly what you mean about that smell! The older Bath & Body Works scents do have a common underlying smell that is hard to describe, but it is there. I just wore my Margarita Cupcake the day before yesterday; I love it so much! I’d love to see it come back. I’d love to see Buttercups & Berry Bellini come back, the strawberry purée note is wonderful! There was an Apricot & Honey scent in that line where all the honey body soufflés came in pots that were shaped like the honey pots. I know there was a lavender & honey and I believe there was an almond & honey. I am pretty sure there was one more but I can’t recall it off the top of my head. I’d love to see at least the Apricot & Honey come back, it was amazing! I’m sure there are more scents I’d love to see come back, I just am not able to recall them at the moment.
The picture from the older Bath & Body Works product guides you have brings back such fond memories for me. I remember shopping with my mom there when everything looked like that (my mom has since passed away) and they are wonderful memories. 🥹

Good morning and thank you! On the topic of that underlying "bath & body works" smell, I think the scent that reminds me of it the most is Champagne Vineyard Kiss from early Fall of 2015. When I smell that one, its like if the Bath & Body Works store had an ambiance scent, that would be it! 🤣 Not sure why, maybe it's partially because of the nostalgia and memories, or maybe it has notes in it they liked to use frequently during that time. That's nice you have some Margarita Cupcake left, I hurried through my set to make empties and make room for what was coming up next, but little did I realize that the scents that came after (for the most part) wouldn't excite me as much as that one did. Now I wish I had a back up! 🍊😅 I had to look up the honey scents you mentioned but now I remember after seeing them...The Sweet Almond & Honey was that one with the black label, right? Would love to see a return for those ones! And the Apricot & Honey, did that come out in a trio at the same time as the French Lavender & Honey? What was the other one I wonder, I can't remember either! 🤣

@@MelissaC So if I remember correctly, Almond & Honey was a green label, Apricot & Honey was an orange label, and French Lavender & Honey had a purple label. I think Sweet Almond and Honey might have been a separate collection, but I could be wrong. All I can see in my mind is the scrubs and the body soufflés; it’s so frustrating because I am trying to remember the shapes of the other bottles to try and remember approximately what year they were available. 🤔 It was a really nice collection, and I remember they brought French Lavender & Honey out and a perfume. What I can’t remember is if French Lavender & Honey has come out more than once… I have the mini perfume left in it, but I can’t find a code on the mini. If you happen to remember please let me know. 🙂
1:57 LOVED THAT ONE! AND "THE VANILLAS" .. although I'm not a vanilla fan this was a small plane simple line of Raspberry Vanilla lemon vanilla apricot vanilla and I believe coconut vanilla. The lemon vanilla was my favorite and still is. I also miss Malibu

Wildberry chamomile! This one is an all time favorite, I love that whole line and have a tiny ration of it left 😂 Also wish they'd bring back Capri coastal citrus, Margarita cupcake and Honey wildflower. I definitely prefer the lighter, sweet, fruity, herbal fragrances for spring over the more floral and fresh scents they've had lately. Also true blue spa would be amazing to see back!

This was fun to watch! It brought back a lot of memories. I had my second child in 2016, so my shopping really decreased during that time. Eventually I stopped going in store because I got tired of trying to keep up with scents that I loved that may or may not come back. I also couldn't afford to do that every season. I recently just started shopping there again.
I remember a lot of the collections you mentioned. I loved Raspberry and Sweet Mint! I agree that they should bring that one back. I also had the Gardenia and Fresh Rain and Lavendar and Spring Apricot. Do you remember Wild Madagascar Vanilla, Tahiti Island Dream, Coconut Lime Breeze (pretty sure this one was around 2011-2013). I had Spiced Pumpkin Cider and Fresh Autumn Blooms (both really nice) that looked like they might have been around the time from the First Blooms collection. I also loved Sparkling Blackberry Woods, Deep Aqua, Orange Sapphire, Secret Wonderland, Enchanted Orchid, Into the Wild, Aspen Caramel Woods, and Magnolia Blossom. I could list many more, but I think this might be too much already. :)
Aw thank you, I'm glad it brought back some good memories. It sure did for me too! Yeah, I know what you mean...sometimes trying to keep up with the new at BBW feels like it takes some effort. I even find myself falling out of the loop if I'm not constantly on top of checking every day/couple times a week now that I'm no longer an employee. 🥴 Oh yes, I remember every single one of those fragrances and want so many of them to come back. Aspen Caramel Woods is one I've heard of but never got the chance to smell and was on my Fall version of "scents I wish would come back" video. 🍁 It sounds so nice, and again...love your wishlist, they are all great ones!
I'd love to have a lot of these back! Most were released when I was only buying hand sanitizer and car scents at B&BW. I missed so much! I'd like for Perfect Peony to come back, too. And Sparkling Limoncello (not sure if that was spring or summer).
We have an old bottle of Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla hanging around at work. It smells nice at first, but not so much once it dries. I'll still try the new one on in the store, since age could be a factor.

I don’t want to use it all up lol even when they go bad lol I’ve been thinking how cool it would be if they brought back all the bath & body works from the 90s/early thousands in the original packaging like it was back then saying “Bath & Body Works Pleasures” and I wish they brought back for a limited time again “The Art Stuff” and “American Girl” collection lol and their “Temptations” collection! ❤

I agree they never do enough Citrus watermelon kind of fresh fragrances. I'm over the trifecta of coconuts vanilla's and pumpkin for their three seasons. Here in South Florida we don't have seasons so I wear whatever I want. LOL I tried to pair my Jo Malone nectarine Blossom and honey with the Calypso Clementine lotion but it didn't turn out too well I wish they would do more fresh scents! Water line! For the younger ones my teens miss the bubblegum scent and the fun sanitizer holders that aren't $15.
This is such a great video! I love the “throwback” idea and you execute it so well. I absolutely LOVE seeing the product guides, and would really enjoy more deep dives into this content if ever you wanted to share it! I completely agree with you: when I think of BBW in essence, the “Fresh Picked” lines for both body care and home fragrance really encapsulates this for me, as well. My dream/wish for a spring return would be 2017’s “Tutti Dolci” line- particularly the Sweet Lemon Buttercup and the Golden Honey Praline. Yum! Thanks so much for this fab video. The original Gingham (blue), then there's Gingham Love (red), during the Winter they released one that had notes of apple and sandalwood called Gingham Heart of Gold (gold), then the three during springtime last year Gingham Fresh (green), Gingham Vibrant (purple), and Gingham Gorgeous (pink)! Which was your favorite? 😊

My favorite from the Artisan collections was the Apple Blossom & Lavender. I would LOVE for them to bring that back one day. It's perfect for the apple lover & OMG yes! the Sweet Magnolia & Clementine was also an AWESOME one & I'm psyched that they're bringing back the Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla.

I would love for margarita cupcake to come back, I feel the same way I bought a mist right before lockdown started and I would use it every single day so unfortunately it will forever remind me of covid but it really was so good. I am still rationing it to this day the bottle less than half full but I refuse to finish it haha
I loved Apple Blossom & Lavender. One special bonus to that scent was that it kept mosquitoes away too. Mosquitoes hate lavender, but when it's too strong I hate it too. 🤣 I thought it was done just right with the apple blossom though. I still have a tiny bit of that lotion left in a mini, but I wish I could get more.
Margarita Cupcake is one of my very top scents that I wish they would bring back. I still have some of the mist, but no more lotion. It is such a good scent. Tbh it always surprises me that Strawberry Pound Cake was the one from this collection that they clung on to so strongly and keep putting it out all the time, because I really think the other two scents are way better. I really loved the Raspberry Jam Donut in the body lotion, but the mist had kind of a weird, perfumey thing going on that I didn't love as much.
I didn't remember several of the scents you went over, so this was really interesting. I think Creamy Almond and Sunflower sounds like it could be amazing. I would love to see that one come back.

It was a sweet, fruity floral slightly on the bubbly-perfumey side. I was surprised at how much I liked it when I originally smelled it since it's not something I normally go for. It was so pretty!
Sweet Magnolia & Clementine and Georgia Peach & Sweet Tea NEED to come back. I was so sad when I used them both up and it has been a long time since I’ve felt that way about a BBW scent. After the fall and holiday season it would be so much fun to see some old favorites/collections come back. Live Fresh was a great every day scent, and French Lavender & Honey was my perfect bedtime scent. I miss them.

Melissa I LOVE this video so much! I absolutely love nostalgic bbw. I lost my mom last year to cancer and bbw was such a strong bond she I and shared. I can remember the early days when bbw first opened up to now going with her.
You are right, bbw is just not the same as it used to be, but I am still obsessed and love collecting it lol

I've been working on filming and editing some non-BBW things to upload on Thursdays while keeping my usual BBW-related video on Mondays. I'm pausing on making Little Free Library videos for now, but am open to doing them again in the future eventually. 📚😊
My opinion on parabens and sulphates...is that I'm not sure! 🫣To be honest I know surprisingly little about what they are, and I'm sure if I did more research on those ingredients I'd be extra glad to know that BBW is eliminating them from their products.
Again, thanks for asking! I've been living a more or less quiet life lately, which is good. What keeps me busy full time is RUclips, eBay selling, and I have a handful of people I pet-sit/house-sit for that travel frequently. Jose still makes all of the music for my channel, and is creating new songs for it all the time. I personally haven't done too much musically lately other than singing for funsies (I sing constantly, not sure if people know that about me since the topic of music rarely comes up! 😅) but I sure hope to be able to incorporate bettering my guitar chops sometime. Percussion, what I got my degree in, is hard to keep up with when you don't do a career in it. My main instrument of choice was timpani, which is not really an instrument most people can just have at home to practice! 😁

I had kind of lost interest in b&bw years ago after being obsessed with it as a young teenager spent (spent all my allowance money on it lol), but I did buy a random margarita cupcake lotion at a SAS I think because I never but stuff full price. I started using it several months later and I wished I had bought more of it because it was sooooo good. After that I got back into b&bw and my wallet to this day is suffering the consequences lol

It was released during a summer semi annual sale as a part of a summer carnival treats themed collection, but I personally think bubblegum is a wonderful scent for spring! I love candy scents during Spring because they are fun and playful, and remind me of Easter! 🥰

I haven't heard any word in that one returning as a repackage yet, but since it was just recently discontinued, I'd make sure to check in stores when they have their Semi Annual Sale in June. It will be there on clearance if stores have any leftover inventory of it! 😊

Okay, so I could almost make an entirely new list based on scents from the era of Sparkling Green Apple that I wish would come back. Maybe they should just bring back all of them! 😍 Sparkling Green Apple like you mentioned, as well as Peach Nectar, Fresh Sliced Melon, Rich Citrus Cream, Strawberry Nectar, Strawberry Lemonade, and Sunsweet Kiwi just to name a few! Those may lean towards summer scents but I'd love to see all of these make a comeback. I love their old packaging from the late 90s with their bubble textured bottles. 🥝🍓🍋

Hi Melissa! I don't mind florals. As long as it's mixed with a fruit. I did enjoy the Ginghams flankers last year. I love Poppy which is a late summer fragrance. Like you Spring/Summer is just not my favorite, but I did expand my horizons last year. Sweet Pea surprisingly is one of my favorites since from my early days shopping at BBW back in the early 2000's and I still love it to this day. I discovered that I did like some of the Spring/Summer fragrances. Pink Watermelon Blast/Groovy Watermelon I loved as well. I hope they bring that back this year. I love gourmand fragrances and wish there were more gourmands. I'm looking forward to Bourbon Strawberry Vanilla. I'm happy BBW brought back Peach Bellini this year as I remember having that one years ago when I purchased Country Apple. Peach Bellini had similar packaging like Country Apple. I love apple fragrances. I love Beautiful Day as it's a green tart apple, but fresh at the same time. I'm happy I picked that one up in store last year. I'm picky with Spring/Summer fragrances. A lot of the time some of these Spring/Summer fragrances dare I say can smell like a borderline public bathroom/washroom and sometimes they can smell too generic for me. I'm tired of coconut fragrances as I feel like coconut is over done. I do not like that sun tan smell. I actually wear Frosted Coconut Snowball in the summer as it has a cooling note and it's probably a coconut fragrance I actually enjoy. I agree....there is some kind of "disconnect" with collections. I'm looking for something different at this point. I also always go back to my old favorites like Sweet Pea.
I know what you mean, there are some fruity florals that I can pull off. My body chemistry does well with the classics: Sweet Pea, Cucumber Melon, & Country Apple. They're mainly fruity, and my skin especially pulls out the fruity notes but the peeks of floral that are in there work for me in those cases! I love summer scents on the other hand, and have noticed myself loving them more in the last year or two especially. I know we all change as time goes on, and I didn't originally view myself as someone who loves fruity scents but lately I've been obsessed! Pink Watermelon Blast/Groovy Watermelon I adore, like you mentioned. I love candy-like fruity scents like that, as well as Strawberry Soda, Tutti Frutti Candy, Watermelon Lemonade, etc.
I remember the Peach Bellini with that packaging. I too love apple scents, although I wish BBW would make more pure apple scents since you know how I can be about florals...I heard news of a pure apple scent coming to the wellness collection that I'd love to try. 🍎

I loved Snap Peas as a candle. It sounded so weird to me but it was actually so good and fresh. 🫛 I’m so happy Bourbon Strawberry and Vanilla is coming back but so bummed it’s in the faceted packaging, it could’ve been so cute 💗
It kind of reminds me of the concept of having a tomato leaf candle...weird, but so garden fresh and reminiscent of spending time outdoors surrounded by vegetable plants! 🌿 I think I would enjoy the Snap Pea candle for that reason. That's awesome you got to try it! 🫛💚
Agreed on the faceted packaging...that scent deserves the cutest packaging, 100 other ideas come to mind rather than faceted...🤦♀️Haha
