Love this video! You two are both great at explaining everything and are both very funny. We really enjoyed this video. We’ll have to have a look at some of your other videos 😀
I like the JS Double Crown & Anchor points.....the other perks are just icing on the cake! Agree like evening service and request that if we are in a balcony! You two are funny!!!
Love the way you explained the amenities and how to consider the value of them. Does the itinerary have any bearing on your choice of state room, i.e., days at sea, landscape that might be viewed while cruising in a location like Norway or Alaska? And I appreciate your sense of humors! Made me chuckle out loud a couple of times! Thanks!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching! For us the itinerary does have a bearing, for example, on a transatlantic we know we're going to have a lot of sea days and spend more time in the cabin. Also, if you're not fond of cigarette smoke, it's always good to know what side of the ship the smoking side is to avoid the possibility of odour. Alaska is very much a cruise we are desperate to do (2025 perhaps?) and on that we'll pay close attention to the ship route and use google earth to ascertain if we will chose port or starboard. I'm so glad you enjoy our humour! We want to be as genuine as possible and when then cameras are off we're pretty much the same lol
Going on this exact cruise in September 2025. We also booked a J4 Jr. Suite on the hump. Just out of curiosity, do you remember which cabin you booked? Also, I'm in the Ant camp regarding Coastal Kitchen. We booked a Grand Suite to Alaska on the Quantum in May of this year and the food was absolute garbage in the Coastal Kitchen. Steaks on the first night were like shoe leather and on the 2nd night I ordered short ribs and you could barely cut through them they were so tough. We were so disappointed. Glad to know the food seems to be better on the Odyssey. Cheers!
Thanks so much for your comment - although it was nice to watch Ant change his mind about CK after the last couple cruises. The cabin on this one was 11636, center of the hump.
we have an ocean view balcony booked for our march 2025 cruise on quantum of the seas, i wish that we had of booked a junior suite as there are 3 of us, mysewlf, my fiance and my mum. im concerened about the space and also the storage space for 3 suitcases and 2 overnight bags
Glen here. You should be able to get the cases under the bed. You will definitely want to ask the cabin attendant for extra hangars. I love the fact you’ve booked ahead like that, something to look forward to! Thanks so much for watching and keep an eye out for our Odyssey of the Seas series coming soon…where we also stay in a J4 (creatures of habit)
we actually have 4 cruises booked. 1. resilient lady in 45 days.. 2. quantum of the seas march 2024.. 3, pacific explorer november 2024 and 4. carnival splendor april 2025 :) were so excited :) we have so far only done 2 cruises, but we caught the cruising bug big time hehe @@AntandGlen

We've had Hendra on Ovation before. He's great.
He’s amazing!! You really can’t beat a good cabin steward. 😎
