    I had some of those same tendencies and was working on this today after seeing this video last night. What's interesting is how much better my balance is when I do this correctly

    Eye opener. I was always trying to put myself in an impact position with hips open and right arm somewhat bent. The element I was missing was the ulnar deviation and was holding onto wrist cock for too long. Cant wait to try this, seem like it could be challange to "cast" early. Do tour pro's actively try to ulnar deviate or is it something that naturally happens when you dont try to hold angles?

    Why on earth do you use portrait on phone camera? You will see the same height in landscape.
