BIG SPOILER Serie remembers almost all spells she has. However, there are some spells that require an insane amount of time to learn, I am talking like a whole century. Fortunately, she also knows a spell that can transfer any spell to any mage instantly by transmitting her own learning process, but of course, in doing so, she forgets the spell. However, that is not a problem for her because she can just spend another 100 years learning the spell again. Just pure elf stuff.

Stark and Fern coming to the mutual understanding with Stark staying outside was nice to see. Fern was at the point where she seemed fine with them being there, but also appreciates that Stark is not a fan of stuffy ceremony.

As someone who's had grandmas, grandaunts, and great-grandmas, old women being petty and remembering grudges from centuries ago is a totally accurate thing.

Its also interesting since Serie said that she was too powerful to even take part. So I assume she will always make sure Frieren never gets that rank. Reminds me of Saitama who barely got recognition at first and is around someone with a higher rank than him

This is basically Frieren getting put in time out for mouthing off to her grandmother. I know you won't pass me, but I picked and nurtured a student better than you. So good in fact you will want to fail her but can't. She just that good.😂
Ehhh, probably isn't going to last that long anyway. Tends to happen when you only set-up a governing body focused on war mages a good millenia after your student asked you and a good 30 or so years (since it was established 50 years ago) after they got rid of the reason humanity needed a lot of war mages.
I know Serie doesn't like Frieren but this is pretty petty. Her friends won't be alive in 1,000 years. Furthermore, letting her in isn't giving her a promotion. In fact she could have let them all stay there, let Frieren take the next test, and probably still flunk her since she's missing something those who passed had.
