A little insane to say that I have been obsessed with this beat for 12 years. I found this song at 13yo, and used to listen to it every night to get to sleep, as well as in the early mornings to get to school. I’m 25 now, and it’s still a very soothing and nostalgic beat for me. I wonder how much more time will pass and how I will keep coming back to this song.
I FUCKING CRIED MAN!! This is seriously the most beautiful song and video I have EVER watched in my whole life. There are only so many things that can make me cry like this video, so this is VERY well done 👏👏
finding Pogo and Jeesh in 2014 changed my life man, these tracks and these MVs to go with em, priceless. Pogo as a person kind of dead to me but these tracks will never not be a part of my heart
I remember Pogo and I were talking about remixing Martial Arts films and he mentioned how he once mixed Jet Li's "Fearless". Using sounds from the movie and even sampling the Mandarin language used in the film. Haven't heard it yet but I'd sure love to. Hope he's doing well. Beautiful Video.
I was obsessed with this song when I was 9/10, I’m 11 now and I just came back to hear this song. It wasn’t a long time but it did felt like a long time.
Just discovered Pogo today through a friend, I've been really impressed with his music. This is my favorite Pogo video so far. You did a great job carrots! :)
I'm surprised on how well it works. Really gives me a good feeling that I can't describe. You've done pretty well to sync the scenes to some really good parts. And weirdly enough I like the song now more because I saw this video haha
Excellent video, sir :) Brings back memories... I first saw this movie when it was out in the theaters a few years back... It had been out for awhile at the time, so by some miracle, I was the only one in the whole theater watching it, and throughout the whole show. Watching a movie by yourself on the big screen can be quite an experience. :) Beautiful film. I cried like a baby at the end. :) Thanks for the reminder, GPPC :)
I like that story. This is one of my favorite films ever. I saw it as a kid back when it came out. Right up there with Hero, and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon as my 3 favorite Kung Fu/Chinese Films. Funny how Zhang Zyi is in all 3. Hope you're doing well 12 years later.
I just watched House of Flying Daggers on Blu-Ray last night, and I still love this movie. Its just so visually serene. Great choice! I hope more people see this movie because of you and Pogo :D
You know, I think this could be my favourite track by Pogo and I've listened to hundreds of his remixes. It's just... so... words can't express how I feel when I hear this masterpiece. And this video amplifies those feelings by tenfold. I'm sure my neighbours feel the same way as well :)
PS for those who are intrigued with this film, and haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out, but also be sure to check out another film by the same director, called Hero, with Jet Li. :)
You can't really get the full experience of this song unless you can hear/feel the bass. Something about it makes this song better. I suggest noise canceling headphones like Bose's Quiet Comfort 15s.
"As soon as I heard this song, I thought of this movie (because of their namesakes). When I rewatched the film recently, I discovered that the two are beautifully matched. This track doesn't sample this movie, but they fit together quite well."
I had to do this film for my film studies course, and I honestly disliked it at first. But as time has gone on I've learnt to appreciate it, especially the stunning cinematography. This particular remix (though I have no clue whether it's actually of the film itself) from Pogo kind of encapsulates my like towards it. Sadly the films true beauty is held back by a less than stellar Blu -ray which looks really dull and washed out. Hopefully a 4K release will come and do it justice!

Damn...I keep coming back to this video. It's been beautifully constructed. The film you chose fits perfectly. Love it!
Great video! Absolutely perfectly works well with the song. Great job!
A magnificent track for a magnificent movie
Not sure if I ever left a comment, but this is a great video for a great tune. Thank you for posting!
years after release i will still come back to this song.
This is magical and sooo relaxing, wish it was longer..
You still capture the essence of a movie. Cheers

Most beautiful movie ever!
Excellent. Keep up the good work.
Great Video Carrots!
Beautifully done =)
Just so damn beautiful.
@edwardtulane82
Fun fact about Hero. The historical figure that Jet Li fights in Hero is who he plays in The Mummy 3.
Very nice, so soft despite what's going on in the video. ^-^
This movie is like if was an art piece.
PS for those who are intrigued with this film, and haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out, but also be sure to check out another film by the same director, called Hero, with Jet Li. :)
Both of those, plus Crouching Tiger are my favorite Kung Fu films. Art.
Very nicely done.

MASTERPIECE. Please tell me Pogo saw this!!!!
GREAT job.
going to go buy this movie soon
i love this song
Is it not hard to call this genre byteflow? Or NEWSOUND?
Or go the easy route and call it pogo music
or plunderphonics
hestvenn or...
PogoPhonics.
@edwardtulane82 I wanted to combine both movies in this video actually, but I only had House of Flying Daggers. Both are excellent films!
wow, amazing.
@R4vindcption101 no, but I found that this movie matched the feel of the song. The samples are from several (probably obscure) sources.
Fantastic!
:D
@SilentBat it's not on an album! You can find it on his download page list.
still let they fly 2022 is here.
@MrCerebellum2 that's interesting. :) thanks for sharing, bro :)
Amazing you should make more videos!
Yes
So good!!
Bren64.
exquisite
I wish *House of Flying Daggers* would get a remaster and released on 4K. The blu-ray has poor quality for such a beautiful looking film.
im experiencing major deja vu rn
Wow this is a gorgeous combination. :D Was Dancing on Blades a remix of House of Flying Daggers?
Agreed
"As soon as I heard this song, I thought of this movie (because of their namesakes). When I rewatched the film recently, I discovered that the two are beautifully matched. This track doesn't sample this movie, but they fit together quite well."
@Bruce Banner House Of Flying Daggers I Highly Recommend You See It It Is Such A Beautiful Movie Of Romance And Action.

Beautifully done. A lot of these scenes were shot in Ukraine's national parks.
