You could always get a nozzle that sprays water/ethanol solution on surface of IC to reduce the temps :D

Thank you friend and I couldn't agree more :) 8000rpm in 6th gear should be right at 200mph but unfortunately I have yet to bang 6th gear due to the toyo r888's speed rating of only 167mph :(

Only time I used the radio was on the highway on cruise. Even then I would drop it in third and row up to fifth. Fun times!

Impressive!!! I’m very surprised that the car makes that kind of power with a stock intake manifold. What’s the limit with stock intake manifold? I run a custom intake manifold with velocity stacks fully machined and the car put down 840HP at 7600 rpm without flinching. Still got 1000 rpm to go. Keep tuning till you reach the power out put limit. You’ve got the right hardware.
I know I'm a year late but with the intake manifold there isn't really a limit to power, it's more of a limit of efficiency and airflow. You can make 700+ hp on the stock manifold but it will take more and more boost for lower and lower gains. The general consensus seems to be that it starts becoming a restriction past 500-550ish hp, though there are plenty of people strapping huge turbos to a stock aan and making a lot more than that on the stock manifold. It just becomes a restriction at a certain point, not neccearily a limiter. If your goal is big power, I would definitely upgrade though. A setup making 600 hp on the stock manifold could make a lot more power at the same boost with a better intake manifold design

I've been having some issues with my urs4, could use some advice! Loud whining noise when doing hard pulls or on full boost, installed a screamer pipe and noise went away.. Have tried it all and no fix. Any inputs maybe?? Thanks man

Thanks! My friends 80mm 850whp Turbo Coyote did 5.8s so I thought that was a good start. I am dying to get a EFR 9180 on the car to pick up some spool and response but that probably won't be until next year.
Turbo makes 40psi at 5500rpm 4th gear, but I can brake boost 30psi at 5000rpm 2nd gear. It is a 50 roll monster when doing so. I blew the doors off of a twin 61mm 760whp Coyote just last week from a 50 roll so that was pretty cool!

9180 is now a 10+ year old turbo. They freshened up the lineup though with the Black Series. Now the sizes are 68mm 8474 (6865), 72mm 9274 (7265) and 74mm 9280 (7473)... only thing I see with EFR is that you really need a shaft speed sensor to monitor speed. Reports of them being fragile are rampant. So running 40psi on one of those can mean destruction vs your much more Airwerks current turbo.
Would need another frequency input in VEMS and then see if VEMS can be programmed to properly display shaft speed RPM. Either way cool turbo.
Your block isn't ORing'd or anything so I'd also suggest a coolant pressure sensor at these extreme levels. As 40psi on cam'd 69mm is head lift territory if using standard ARP studs... plus VEMS Map sensor is tapping out at 43psi...
Oh man let me stop before I get ahead of myself as I can only see this thing getting wilder and wilder...

How much boost are you running on pump gas and how much on e85 ? If you add a positive displacement supercharger , and you keep this turbo , you'll have both low end torque and high end power. Another question : how much rpms are you spinning ?
Assuming AFR is tunned, How do you tune Ingition table on Vems? do you increase by 1 angle, 0.50. etc? Do you stop when you hear knock? Do you use EGT sensor?

Hahaha good one! the gauge definitely functions better as a vacuum gauge. It is so much effort to change it out that I just added a 60psi gauge next to the exhaust pressure gauge because race car! Maybe I'll turn it down one day... maybe 😎

Hey dude! Not 100% sure but I'd say breaking into the mid 10's shouldn't be an issue with a decent launch. It should trap mid to high 130mph as it traps over 140mph from a 40roll now at the track, the car has mad top end now.
I tested 0-60 on shitty tires a few years back and it was doing 3.4-3.6s at around 600whp spinning all the way through 1st gear. Combine that with a 5.9s 60-130 and we are looking at a pretty decent pass for a car that weighs 2 tons!
We'll find out eventually, I want to build the rear diff, redo the suspension and install solid subframe bushings before I start launching the car again. But for now it is absolutely loving the power from a roll without breaking any drivetrain!

That is correct, the tires currently on the car have a max speed rating of 167mph. If I take 5th gear to 8000rpm I am exceeding 170mph and that is why I haven't hit 6th yet. I'll get some different tires at some point and shoot for 200mph one day ;)

i think, if you maybe went to a bigger turbine housing; you will get even lower back pressure and lower EGT aswell? maybe try a 1.03 or so turbine housing? do you have instagram.
That is correct, I wanted to try the smallest available housing first and collect data before moving on. I was surprised by how low the back pressure was compared to my last setup. The new 4" exhaust is doing wonders!
I will most likely be trying a new turbo sometime next year and will definitely go bigger on the turbine housing. I think my next turbo is going to be the xona rotor 9569s with the UHF turbine wheel, I really want to try that next!
