Tom, Deb, and Ob would like to thank everyone who have been kind enough to send in gifts. Seriously, you guys are just the best.
I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes even more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is something of a Luddite.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls RUclips "the U-TOOBZ".

If you see the pieces stolen from the post office, immediately call the police. It had to be someone at the post office as they were in custody of it. The thief put that “bag note” hoping that the sender would eat it. This is a major crime punishable for up to 35 years in the big house. Everyone who does not want this to happen to them should write down the list that Tom just mentioned and be on the lookout for them. If we don’t look out for each other, who knows what will happen with this field of collecting.
Regarding the missing daggers courtesy of the US Postal Service. There must be some chain of custody. From the clerk who initially took the package at the front counter to handlers in the back to the postal carrier. The USPS has their own police called Postal Inspectors who should be able to retrieve surveillance camera footage and pinpoint who last handled that package at the time the items went missing.
A box adresses to Wittmann contains a lot of money.

after a hard days work, I'm enjoying Ob and Dad....I was once a little boy brought to the hobby by my Dad....My first German Helmet was given to me at age 11 by my Dad....My Dad died when I was 13. I watched every one of the Videos. The ones with guests were my favs! Peace and Love to you both.

Part of the letters and things seemed to be official concentration camp correspondence.
Can't tell if it's the employee's or the prisoner's correspondence but one of them reads "Konzentrationslager, Hamburg-Neuengamme" as the location and the letter has someone's name, seems to be a polish surname too. Polizei censorship stamps there as well.

Happy birthday Tom. Let me just say about the smoking and drinking. Just be yourself. We like to see people not pretending to be someone they're not. I don't drink or smoke but that doesn't have anything to do with your expertise in German edged weapons. I actually think the man cave stuff adds character to your videos. Keep it up.

Its nog a candle, but a flashlight. Its not from WW1 but from after WW2, i've inherited one from my grandfather. The (flat)battery can be inserted on the bottom.

Well happy birthday Tom good health to you. As for the missing items from you box. Postal employee's do steal. It's a fact. I shipped for Christmas a year ago presents for my grandkids son and daughter in law. Box was destroyed and all items stolen. I too got a letter and a package from usps with my sons shirt and all the rest was gone. Postal insurance is worthless they payed nothing not one red cent and a huge box emptied. Package arrived in greenville south Carolina was scanned and never left per tracking.

Some advice to anyone mailing anything that has a value over $1000+ is to double box the item(s). This 2nd box should also have the senders mailing address and destination address as well as e-mail and contact information / contact numbers. Especially a box that might have a value of $10,000 - $20,000 and beyond. I know there because I've seen very very flimsy boxes mailed out that you were shocked to get that somehow did not fall apart.
Good advise.
Tape the heck out of cheaper than loseing your items. Hope he gets them back.

How long does it take to post inventory shown on a video to your website for sale? And there are times I look for an item on the show but it is not shown on your website. Perhaps those are kept for your collection or immediately sold.
