Jus Class Dior thank you so much for watching. I think that will be a different video as there are so many fragrances in their collections to sift through. Unfortunately I don’t own any of them. Need to get saving.
This was my first Le Labo fragrance. The performance is incredible - I consistently get over 24 hours. When sprayed on clothes, it literally survives a laundering with hot water and detergent. The only thing more long lasting is Tonka 25 and Oud 27.
Thank you so much for your comment and feedback. I’m glad you enjoy this one as much as I do. That is amazing in how much longevity you get from this fragrance.
To me this is rosewater, black tea, and cedar. It also has the aura of smoke! It's always changing to my nose, swirling about beautifully. I only spray once on my arm
The Noir 29 last all day on me even though after it's all said and done it leaves behind a woody skin scent but it is definitely a great scent and creates a awesome scent bubble around even when you can't smell but others will.
Thé Noir 29 is my first Le Labo scent and I’m in love with it. It lasts almost two days in my shirt. It’s really good when you go out with a lover or date night with friends. Also bought Santal 33 which is fairly okay. And I just bought Another 13 because of you. Can’t wait to try it out!
I love Le Labo's The Noir 29! Love your reviews, Matt! Thank you for letting people know the correct French pronunciation which translated means "black tea" Did you note the fig in the scent at the opening? Every single time I wear this, I receive compliments and inquiries. People tell me it smells "beautiful." One innkeeper in the Cotswolds said she had to know what the scent was so she could ask her husband to purchase it for her for Christmas. I agree that it's a complex fragrance, but that's why I love it. Matt: "...this is my third cup of tea. I'm going to be up all night with Granny bladder.". LOL❤️
Oh that is such an amazing comment to receive. I am so glad you enjoyed the review. Yeah I do get some fig notes which makes it a really interesting sweet fragrance. Honestly, 2 cups of tea plus and that is me done for the night😂 Stay safe!!
@@SophisticatedObsession Thanks, Matt! Love your content, humor, etc. It's been fun subscribing to your channel and seeing some of you/your wife's wonderful travels via Instagram.❤️ It's a gorgeous day here in North Seattle. My husband and I loved our two weeks in England last September. London, the Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Hidcote Manor, etc. Sensory overload.
Which fragrance of le Labo do you think that is perfect for the winter ? I got another 13 but I think that im gonna return it to get something that will work for the winter… but another 13 will may work for the winter ? Santal 33 I already own. Thanks in advance
Thank you for your nice review. I smell the fig very strongly. I find it perfect for work (not too intense), and also nice for summer and autumn. And it's a bit sexy too. Perfect for women but also smelled it on a man, it was nice too :). Big fan of Le Labo! Another 13 was my go to scent this summer!
Hey, thank you so much for your comment! I am so glad you enjoyed the fragrance review. I absolutely live this fragrance. Just a perfect unisex scent. 👌🙌
I have Santal 33 and that is probably the best drydown I have ever experienced from a fragrance. Just incredible. Thank you for the comment bud. Hope you enjoyed the video.
Great review! I was thinking about going for this right up until you mentioned the floral base notes at the end- not in love with rose, even though the top notes are tempting! I'm a huge fan of Santal 33- love the masculinity and the relative originality of it. I also have Vetiver 46 but it doesn't last nearly as long. Do you have any recommendations based on that?
Thank you so much for the comment. I am so sorry it has taken me so long to respond to you. I would say that you should give Thé Noir a try as you might be pleasantly surprised by it. I would also say if you are into niche fragrance brands other than Le Labo to try Tom Ford Oud Wood. This was the fragrance that started my fragrance journey. Hope that helps you out.
It is really dependent on my mood and the time of year. I love Santal 33 and Bergamote 22 as they were the fragrances that got me into Le Labo but I really enjoy Another 13 as well. Let me know what type of fragrances you like and I can maybe suggest some fragrances to suit your taste.
Oh thats so interesting. I will have to check that out. Sounds like a great day time scent with Thé Noir as more of an evening scent. Sounds like we have this covered haha.😂
Hey Matt. I just started watching your channel today, and I love the content. I was considering Thé Noir as a change up to the admittedly basic Green Irish Tweed that I’ve worn for years. Your comment about Thé Noir not being good for wearing all day at the office was relevant as my life is basically work-sleep-repeat. Any Le Labo scent that you think would work well for an “all day at the office” scenario?
Hey bud! Sorry I have only just got round to answering your comment. Hope you are enjoying the content. I would say that if you want something for the office it needs to be a touch my subtle and I think Thé Noir is a little dark. I would suggest either Another 13 as it is just this amazing musk bomb which gets you compliments left, right & centre or maybe Vetiver if you like the style of Green Irish Tweed as is it very green and woodsy. Hope this helps bud! ✌️
Out of topic but you are incredibly attractive and I could listen to you talk about fragrances all night. Thanks for the review! EDIT: Just bought it on a blind buy, lets hope I don't regret it. 😂

Yes omg rose and smoke!!!

One of the best from the house. Super underrated. Monster performance and pleasing fig scent

My favorite scent from Le Labo
Love your review of Thé Noir 29!

Very nicely done review 👍🏼
Thank you so much bud. Really glad you enjoyed the video. Let me know if you would like me to review anything else from Le Labo. ✌️
Thank you for your amazing review! For me, it smells similar to Jo Malone's Poppy and Barley. Really enjoyed your channel! ♥️
I love Jo Malone. A beautiful brand. I am so glad you are enjoying my content. I’m absolutely loving creating it for you.

Also Paula, did I pronounce ‘Le Labo’ correctly? I have often wondered how it should be pronounced.

Ooh look at that, I’m born and raised in NYC all my life and I NEVER knew Le Labo was in NYC. I suck.
I know right! Every day is a school day 😂 Na you do not suck at all. You are doing well getting through my videos 🥴

Great review! I love The Noir! Any idea which one of their scents is more leathery??
Try Santal 33, you might like that.
Personally what is your top 3 Le Labo recommendation??

@@SophisticatedObsession hello, i love fragrances like boss bottled by hugo boss, any suggestions? thank u
I just got Moschino TOY BOY, I feel it is very similar &also a beast performance on it.. let me know if u happen to try it & feel is similar thanks
Ooo no I have not tried that one. When I’m out of lockdown I will have to go and have a try! Thank you for letting me know.
I get a Jo Malone Poppy and Barley vibe with Thé Noir being a bit darker and a tad less floral
Me too! Similar to Jo Malone Poppy and Barley ♥️

I think it smells more like Tom Fords Noir. I’m drawn to both.
Nice supreme chair
Thank you bud!
I finally found it smells 87% like
Jo Malone English Oak & Hazelnut!
87% 😂 that is a very specific amount. Cheers for the comment bud. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Not at all, that’s like saying calling everyone Asian is Chinese
Hi Matt it is Lizzie umm is it just me or have you wondered why the tester fragrance bottles are always half full even when you have just opened then
Hey! Yeah I know it is really annoying. I guess they don't want to give you too much because they want you to get a full bottle.
Yeah true 😂
Mine are always full that's odd that yours aren't. I've gotten 6 samples and they are all full.
Out of topic but you are incredibly attractive and I could listen to you talk about fragrances all night. Thanks for the review!
EDIT: Just bought it on a blind buy, lets hope I don't regret it. 😂
You are waaaay too kind. Thank you so much for the amazing compliment. Hope you are loving your new fragrance!
Thé rhymes with lay or ray, friend.
I really like this one. So much so that I splurged on a full bottle.
Amazing!!!! It is a beautiful scent. Hope you are enjoying it.
I own scent this along with Poivre 23 (love!!!!) , Vanille 44 (like) Cuir 28 (love!!!).... oh Le Labo - take all my money 😂😂😂
I think poppy and barley is the closest to the smell of the noir 29
Oh that’s interesting. My girlfriend has that fragrance but I have never associated the two?
Wood Sage and Sea Salt?!?! What ? There is nothing similar at all.
It smells just like Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir.
Another one that I have smelled from Jo Malone but I just don’t get it. Must be my nose 😂 Hope you enjoyed the video.
Not at all
interesting this one is my least fav and gave me a bad headache overtime i sprayed it
Great review but i could never justify the price point on these. Seems like a scam to me.
🤷♂️It took you 3 minutes and 38 second to FINALLY spray the fragrance and review it. Cut to the chase next time in your next review.
