Lucky Penny Thoughts: This is a really nice set. It is a combination pull back and wind up toys. They are all nicely detailed with multiple color plastics and painted parts. The #3 Dot was my favorite toy. I'm not familiar with the Clip-Tocks and if they were purchased at the counter. A fun all around set to play with and learn more about.

Aww man I almost had the whole set. never gotten Hopper, the grasshopper.
Btw: Flik, Atta and Dot are the names of the ants, Dim is the beetle, Rosie was the spider, Francis is the ladybug (he is male) and Hemlich is the caterpillar.
Everything is good!I like watching you open the toys.I like the sound of packaging for some reason.Boxes are also fine.Kind of interesting to see how it was back in the day,especially in USA because I live in Europe and boxes were different,but toys,I think,were the same.

I have the Top Popper Clip-Tock! Got it from a yard sale and had really no idea what promotion it was from. XD Thanks for including them! I do think I like the magnifying glass clip-tock and the Princess Dot(the really fast small ant!) toy the best c:
Also I'll chime in that I like the entire experience of clipping open the bags, doing the boxes and doing any bonuses. c: It gives me a nostalgic sense since I was only four when this set in particular came out XD

I have all of these toys except #3 😔 in unopened packages. All original. I extra of Hopper opened, has great movement. Only have 1 of the Clip-Tock "Bug Eye Spy" pretty Cool. Box too. Also have another toy that was not listed. Loved the movie. Make an offer if you want these.

I like it when u open each toy one at a time
I had the blue beetle, the lady spider and the grumpy lady beetle. This brings back so much memories! I wish they would still make toys like these. Boys and girls had them and it was okay. Now it's all about dolls with heavy make up and muscular action figures. Which where there back then too, but still there was this section without gender stereotyping.
These toys, honestly - for mcdonald's toys, are gorgeous. The quality back then was so much better than what you see today. The colors and designs are really nice and seem carefully done. The movements are interesting, especially for the caterpillar. I also love the caterpillar's colors - that green gradient on his back is really nice. I didn't even realize how nice they were as a kid.
I had Rosie, Flick and Atta. Might have had more but I can't recall.... and I think my mom bought the Bug Eye Spy clip tock.
I agree 100% 👍, also Hardee's was putting out some top Quality toys as well during this time. The California Raisins were my Favorite.
The rhino beetle is Dim. The spider is Rosie. The three ants are one male and two females. The male ant is Flik, and the two female ants are Princess Atta and Princess Dot. The grasshopper is Hopper. The caterpillar is Heimlich, and the ladybug is Francis.

I had the beetle and the brown cockroach thing as a kid. But I always hated bugs and never was interested in the movie, so never kept the toys. I remember having a lucky dip at church when I was about 7 and that cockroach toy coming out. I was not happy! Lol

I wanted a Bug's Life Clip-Tock back when they were out, but the McDonalds had already sold out of them. Boy was I disappointed.

They are handled carefully, the bags are cut a certain way and they all get put back and stored in a zip lock bag. We like to show them.
