What I really dislike with some happy meal toys is they put half of a charecter on to something but it makes the toy really gimmicky I think one full articulated figure with no gimmick is better but these are for smaller kids so I guesse they do it so they don't get board

If I remember correctly, McDonald's had Two Mulan wave of toys. One being for the movie release and this set was for the now on video release. That's why some people remember being other toys that where not spinning or launch figures. Just to clarify any confusion.

You're right. They released these in February 1999 during the film's home video release following the Recess toys. They also released toys based on the home video release of Winnie the Pooh Sing a Song with Pooh Bear that same month.

Welp i personally think that opinion on these h.m. toys can vary bcoz some sets are excellent (httyd2,transphormers r.i.d.) while some are plane boring (hello kitty glasses, posters) so i honestly think it doesnt depend on the age of the toys but of the fun.

I like the old toys more, now days they mostly tend to have gender specific generic toys.... I remember the toys when I was little were so awesome, but now...even my brothers, youngest aged 5, dont find they toys that interesting, but maybe its also to do with the change in the times as well, what with all the new technology and maybe thats why they dont find they toys so interesting....
