Fun fact: you can kill the braken, it takes 2 hits. Downside is when one person does it they die, you need atleast 2 people to kill it.
unless you got the shotgun, then one shot usally turns it to "dust"
You can only kill it while it has your freind and he's running away with him from what I know
I believe the zapgun works if you time it correctly
Get it to chase you while you have only shovel and just hold back and sprint and keep hitting and it is possible with only one person

Tip:
The Nutcracker has two modes, Patrolling and Scanning
In patrolling, the nutcracker is blind and cant see anytihng and will walk aimlessly. If caught in front of him, you will kick you in the balls and one tap you.
While Scanning, anyone moving will become a target and he will start firing at you. He can only see movement, so if caught near him in his scanning mode, just stay still. No mouse moving, no WASD, just be patient until he goes back into Patrolling.
We need to get them to see this.
you forgot hunting mode: when he spots someone he will shoot them and everyone else that the nutcracker sees
Seriously the game creator somehow coded comedic timing into the game itself, but the skinwalker mod, they need to add in a feature where you can prerecord your voice and allow you to name them so the ski walker can say anything it wants so long as you provide the voice, also allowing you to pick which voices will be played depending on who you are playing with
there's a mod called LC_API or smth like that that lets you change the configuration of all the sounds in the game, it works with the skinwalker mod so you could try it out
The skinwalker mod is terrifying. I love it ^_^
On another note, the Yippee bug absolutely made my day
