@@57too Their talent is exactly why they are both in the final of a WTA 1000 event. I find that hard to argue with. Of course they have a team behind them, and perhaps I should have also mentioned them in my comment. I was posting a positive comment after watching the highlights of a sport I really enjoy watching, that's all. And of course, it goes without saying that any human on this planet, with the correct level of mentoring and support can be exceptionally talented at whatever it is they choose to focus on - that's stating the obvious! Qinwen has done a great job actually and improved a lot since the beginning of this year. She can definitely win the game if she can be more mentally prepared. Sabalenka was not winning easy this time. Proud of both them. Sabalenka is always amazing and love her personality. Congrats!
Why do you say Zheng needs more mental preparation? Also, she's on home turf, so I don't think it's much surprise she played better against Sabalenka this time.
@@nortexoidAs for the mental part. I don't understand why a lot of comments these days people are talking about mental toughness. It is just that SABALENKA is at a higher level.
Don't think that's the case here. At this point, Saba is a better player, as Pegula said, Saba is the best player on hardcourt at this moment. Zheng needs to continue to improve her game, that's all.
I think Zheng's mental game is actually part of strength, she's very good at problem solving and fighting from behind. Her issue came mostly from a game perspective. The deadly first serve fell apart in the third set, otherwise she could have maybe gotten it to 4-4 and used the momentum to cross the finish line. Her return game this year in general is not good, in fact, her return games won stat is less than 40% and lower than her 2023 stat. You just can't beat Sabalenka, who is probably the most aggressive player in the WTA right now, without a strong defensive game (like Coco in her first set in the semi finals or Muchova at the China Open, where they were able to handle her power and get the ball back while keeping her from getting into a dominant rhythm). If she can work with a serve specialist to make the 1st serve more consistent, develop a stronger 2nd serve (Sabalenka herself worked with a specialist for just a few months to fix her serve) and improve her return game, she should be able to hang with anyone in the WTA.
@@notapplicable4283 Zheng's first serve win rate is the best in WTA, two years in a row. Her first serve fell apart in the 3rd set today mostly because Saba's return was too good, giving pressure to the server. Zheng didn't have a problem with her 1st serve when playing, say Paolini. In my view, She can't serve the same to Saba vs playing with Paolini. Zheng needs to develop more variety when her first serve is less better and finds a way around when her opponent's returns are good.
Sabalenka in this match yet again proved why she is amongst top 2 world's best players. She played brilliantly. She was consistant when it mattered the most. She always believed in herself and her ability to win this match against home crowd favorite Quinwen Zheng. She played truly amazingly and fought hard and deservedly won this match and the tittle of this WTA1000 tournament. Congratulations Aryna Sabalenka on winning this match and tittle. Aryna is just on fire this year. Absolutely fantastic. Make no mistake, Zheng has has a stellar season too! Definitely a contender at the top. If Rybakina comes back into action, I would say only she and Zheng can challenge Sabalenka and Swiatek judging by current performances.
Predictable result, well done Aryna, congratulations, you are the best. Qinwen was also good and courageous, she recovered after her usual start to the match, it is difficult to do better playing practically without a first serve, against Sabalenka it becomes a tough feat, leaving aside some naivety... unfortunately Qinwen in Ningbo will most likely find Muchova at her debut, who is also rested, another very difficult match.
Nope, Zheng's mentality is great. She needs to sharpen her games, especially on hardcourts. Her game style works better on clay, but playing arguably the best player on hardcourt Saba, Zheng has to play faster and cut short some of her shots.
@@user-hm8nb5jr3w She's between a rock and a hard place with Iga and Aryna. Zheng went toe to toe with Sabalenka who is arguably in unbeatable form, some big big hitting, and she is only 22! She will win multiple slams! Future number 1!
Zheng desperate attempted to unfaiyly blame the line's man for being in her way in that one point she lost in the third set. That was a cheap unsportsmanlike move, an utter disgrace, and it made me lose a lot of respect for her. Well done, Sabalenka!
It was entirely a epoch-making tournament from beginning to the end. I always enjoyed watching each appearance of this prominent tournament despite the absences and shortfalls of some major players. It was a great honour to play a final clash on home soil for Qinwen Zheng. She broadly made all Chinese audiences and viewers blissful with her presence in this event. Whatever the outcome is, Zheng has competed with her ambition, aspiration and devotion. However, Sabalenka has roundly proven her huge mastery and superiority against Zheng with her performance and dynamism. It is really tremendous accomplishment on the behalf of Belarusian tennis competitor and securing the first two places in the WTA World Rankings in the end of the season. The sound is super annoying. Save it for the bedroom!!
Que jogo incrível!🎉
Both players delivered awesome game and congratulations for both, especially Sabalenka!!!
Australian+Cincinati+US Open winners defeat Paris Olympics Gold winners 😂
Sinner defeats Djokovic to win Shanghai title.
Sabalenka defeats Zheng to win Wuhan title.
She is a fighter congrats sabalenka more to come
What a match! Sabalenka just too good, but we have to keep an eye on Qinwen, she’s getting better and better with each fight.
Ps: I loved the Chinese crowd.
Como Fanático de Zverev
Debería mirar Lo Agrssiva que juega Sabalenka algunos puntos claves
Lets Go Sabalenka 💯
That is bruiser of a final, they literally b!tch slapped each other into submission, well done ladies, one of the best final I’ve seen in recent years.🎉
Support queenwen♥ Congratulations Sabalenka
Zheng went toe to toe with Sabalenka who is arguably in unbeatable form, some big big hitting, and she is only 22! She will win multiple slams! Future number 1!
No. Zheng will fade just like Coco will fade.
They'll end up somewhere in the top hundred but , that's all.
@@57too You mean... they'll fall to no.2?
@@57too Source: trust me bro 🤡
Not showing the flag of Belarus is a thing for scoundrels. However, in the final there were a Belarus and a Chinese... Go BRICS! 🇧🇾🇨🇳🇧🇾🇨🇳🇧🇾🇨🇳
For those who think Saba is the new number 1,it is not so,but it is close!1ga has 9785 points and Aryna has 9716!Not there just yet...❤❤❤😅
Yes, she is. 28.10 officialy
we're in 2024 almost 2025 and WTA gives us still 720p is insane..
Zheng desperate attempted to unfaiyly blame the line's man for being in her way in that one point she lost in the third set. That was a cheap unsportsmanlike move, an utter disgrace, and it made me lose a lot of respect for her. Well done, Sabalenka!
Congratulations Sabalenka you did it 👏 🙌 ❤️
It was entirely a epoch-making tournament from beginning to the end. Huge congratulations to Aryna Sabalenka!
Sabalenka 🐯🏆❤️🔥
I loved the loud voice 👍🏼
Where's the handshake?
你们为什么总是那么执着于握手的画面?
Unfortunately missed the match, but it seem like both played well and the match was intense and lived up to expectations. Congrats to Sabalenka for winning and remaining unbeatable in Wuhan. Congrats to Zheng for improving so much. Both had a good year.
There is nothing like two heavy hitters in a finals.
Nice match. Congrats to Aryna for staying perfect at this tournament.
But why..... do the directors of tennis match coverage choose to show people in the stands - when the players are meeting at the net after the match..????
They always choose to go away from the two players as they are approaching the net (to show the crowd). WHY..??? It's so dumb. We can see the crowd cheering any time.
Grandissima Aryna💪🎾👍👍👍
Such a match from what is resumed here from both players 👋👋👋👋
Such a victory from Aryna 👋👋👋👋👋 💪🧠🎾
Valiant effort from Queen Wen. I am happy for both players! Aryna has another feather in her cap which gives me a good feeling! 😜😜
Just listen to the Roar when Zheng took the 2nd set, Just listen to it.. How can you not love Tennis?
Sabalenka was super loud this match 😂
Her performance and skills are incredible, high-level athletes, gifted with natural athletic capabilities, she was born an elite mover ❤❤❤❤.
Good effort by Zheng.
Somebody gotta have an answer for Sabalenka's power hitting.
they need to scream long too
Two great players
One is great. Other is average
@@rahulrava619, well why don't you play against the average one and see how many points you win.
@@rahulrava619 You're less than a average, just saying.
@@yinhoukhor7109 you wish i was a player. Why can't she win against sabalenka???
@@erniehendry3907 you're the worst if you think flopwen is great!🤡
👏👏Sabalenka ❤❤🥳🥳
Still a lot of respect and proud of Zheng
Zheng was able to counter Sabalenka's tremendous pace with some very smart play but it wasn't enough to win. Congratulations to both players for a great display 👏👏👏
Close to number one. 🎉🎉
I hope Qween Wen makes the WTA finals. She is now 7th in the race. Go girl.
I just want to see her continue losing.
@@57too Then you'll both have something in common, won't you...
@@57too Saw many of your comments against Zheng, must really hate her huh?
@@ck1416 I think that's actually emma!!😀😃
@@tootspogsforever5590 EMMA Navarro ??
It was she who called out Zheng for being disrespectful (she was right) !!
Aryna Sabalenka Belarus ❤😊😊❤
Im glad Zheng was defeated😊. CONGRATS SABALENKA!
Zheng leg injured all of a sudden? Why is Sabalenka screaming so much. Her screams are more intimidating that her shots. They really beee to look into that. She’s bawling before she makes full contact and follow through. That disrupt her opponents.
it is cheating
The players say it doesn't hinder them, so I believe them. They have no reason to lie.
I don't mind a quick grunt, but she's still finishing the tale end of her yell as the other player is playing their shot.
Of course, no hindrance. 🤔
Qinwen feels the pressure of an entire people, Asians have a different sense of defeat, I think it's the same for the Chinese
Or they are just strange… how can you also cheer that much for every single point, the not-Chinese opponent is making an error / fault?
