Man I used to LOVE this band as a young man. My teenage years I was always listening to these guys. 36 crazy fists, poison the well, from autumn to ashes, finch, blindside,chevelle, so many more....
I had no idea who these guys were when we drove nine hours to go see Killswitch in Kansas City back in 2016. My son was 7, and I was 47. Then we walked into the building and walked up to Kyle behind the merch counter, stood and talked to him for a half hour, Jack sat with him and sold merch, and then after the show, Kyle brought Brock out to meet us both and we stood there while it snowed and talked for an hour. Even Steve showed up. So cool. Such wonderful guys. The real deal. Needless to say, we've been fans since.
I concur. These guys were the nicest bunch of guys I have ever met. Saw them in Dallas with DevilDriver and I ended up hanging with them at their merch booth after they played. Hate they split up. Keeping my fingers crossed they can find a resolution and put it back together.

I know that he fishes in the off-season for tours, and frankly, he probably makes more money fishing than he does touring. At some point, real life has to enter into the equation, and let's face it, unless you're making high six figures, touring as a musician isn't really real life. A lot of these guys struggle in the off season, and when you have a family, that puts a lot of strain on relationships. I can't imagine being away form my wife and kids five months out of the year, and Brock seems like such an emotional guy that I'm sure it tears him up every time he leaves. That was the thing that Jack said about him when we were walking away: "He didn't really seem like a rock star. He seemed more like a dad." And that's because he is. Cheers!

I started listening to these guys right before I joined the army. Coincidentally I ended up being stationed in alaska. When I was in Afghanistan, I would always end up listening to waiting on a war when I was at my lowest. Their music has helped me get by.
I said this before and i will say it again, they are the most underrated band. They are damn talented but they do not enjoy the same level of success as some of the bands sharing the same genre. They are just getting better and better with every album.

I miss seeing these Bros play a show for $5 on weekends when I was in High school. Me and my bros would be all... Aww shit!!! 36 crazyfists are going to crank up the pit tonight!!! We would all pack into a van and head to the show for the night, there was once an all ages night club that had a coffee bar run by some dude named Casey and they also had a beer garden fenced off for the 21 and overs. And downstairs there was a coat check and black lights that were always glowing, and that place always smelled of cloves because it was a Gothic type of hangout. Perfect song to blast while driving down the Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm!!! I recognize every location exept for the Northern Lights at 2:45 to 2:48 and the windy grass at 3:10 to 3:13. I'm not religious but I feel blessed to be an Alaskan and to jam out to 36 Crazyfists. I've listened to this band pretty much every day since I was 10 or 11 and I'm now 26...Never gets old, only better!!LIFE IS GREAT!!!!
