I love the design of this version of the Infinite Justice. I like how angular and aggressive the armor is, and some callbacks to the original Justice. And I don't mind the Volantes flyer, cuz I love me some Star Wars references in Gundam. The only thing missing is the green trim on the chest and the fact that it only has one pair of CIWIS guns on the head instead of two like on the original Infinite Justice. But other than that, the GOAT of SEED Freedom, next to tge Destiny Spec II, and the IJ Type II's one eyed disguise
I got this kit too but still decide what color to paint for the X-Wing between gray to looks like the box art or red to make it looks like old Justice Gundam.
With the exception of the beam horn, cuz i loved the big camera from the OG Justice and Infinite Justice, this looks like a solid kit. The XWing is a bit goofy but at least they addressed the issue of the Justice lacking in long range firepower with the addition of the 4 cannons at the wing tips and wish we would've gotten the Rail Cannon
If there is going to be a Gundam Seed "Justice", i wish they give the Justice the same type of striker pack like the Strike Freedom(Blue Wings and Light Effects) and Destiny (Red Wings and Light Effects). The Best color for the pack would be Green as the Infinite Justice already has Green Accents. (They could call it Saviour Justice I guess).
I had actually forgotten about why they needed a new backpack for the Infinite Justice, then I rewatched Seed Destiny and went "Oh yeah... He used it as a missile...". I'd willingly drop more money on this, even if just to build the Infinite Justice again.
Definitely a good idea to scratch build a new beam for the emitter on the boomerang, at least imo because the way it was in the movie, it looked cooler with a longer beam, so I just used the flat part from one of the older versions of the beam saber runner and then shaped it to look like a asymmetric beam (had to also shape the connection part to look like it was emitting and also fit perfectly due to the shape of it). Also this kit suffers from "self destruction" as I'd like to call it for when kits are made a bit tooo strong, so you need to sand down certain things to minimize chances of anything break and difficult to fix, like the backpacks' connectors being a bit too strongly held, so I sanded those a bit to make it a smooth detachment but still be able to stay on the back sturdily because one side already had a stress mark, and probably best to sand down the waist part that gives it its dynamic kicks unlike the normal I.Justice that had the movable back skirt
The side to side articulation on the knee at 13:12, I think it's for when the IJ Gundam is inside the Zgok armor. The side to side articulation reminds me so much of how the Zgok's leg look, so I think it's useful in that sense
I find it difficult to handle real small parts, like this one has. Worse yet are RG's I don't mean to say that RG's are bad just the tiny pieces. I'm probably and outlier that finds them especially difficult to handle and paint.
"All wings report in!" - Athrun Zala, Red Leader The "X-Wing" backpack really distract what need to be issued here : the improvement of Justice. Gundam. The "frame" will be good to drybrush with silver
I kinda like thw design, but not much on the backpack..the backpack a bit plain and off from Justice theme (pink) color on it..if it have a bit part of pink, should be better..it feels like the back pack was custom and not part of the mobile suit..
ah yes; the z'gok inner frame.
People obsessing over the Z'gok are starting to brainwash me into liking it.
This is the kit that I was the most excited for out of all of the kits Bandai announced for this year. Still need to pick it up.
7:39 it is a beam boomerang
13:21 and 13:03 this is for better kicking angles for using the knee/shin beam blades
7:36 that is the beam boomerang of Infinite Justice

Need this kit for Luke's X-wing custom colors
With the Gundam painted in X-Wing Pilot Suit
@RevanR that's a good idea! I was planning on just painting the whole kit in X-wing colors
Yup😅
This is my next build its kinda funny that mine arrived yesterday and you did the review today !

Nice review~ I enjoyed watching it!!

Ah yes the infamous the "X wing backpack gundam."
You mean the Z'Gok inner frame?
@@zafranorbian757 It can be multiple things at once
The X-wing idea is actually pretty cool 😎👍🏽
Amazing unboxing, this Gundam Type II looks incredible! 🚀🤩
Huh, this HG X-Wing comes with a lot of extra parts.

Wish there's a way to make it chrome pink paint effect just like that box art.

the Beam Horn is probably inspired by the Alteisen's Heat Horn attack from Super Robot Wars OG.

Is there enough blue sticker left to add a color camera sensor sticker to the back pack where the sensor shou!d be?
👍👍👍👍

Aren't the leftover beam effects for backpack's wings?
they're the ones that were used on the fatum of the original infinite justice kit
The backpack looks more like an ARC-170 than an X-Wing, especially with the wings closed.
Wow
That beam horn would be awesome! Id be abusing that shit in combat and just plowing through everything! 😂 "Watch out guys, here i coooooooome!"

Another new version of Infinite Justice but still no love for OG Justice.
