All because of piss poor management they have depleted the salmon runs. Now it is put back on to us in the form of conservation. The point is what will stop them from doing it again if runs are replenished. Fish and game reported 100k fish over the weir and there would be no fish in river but would have a dozen emergency commercial openers that season. Falsifying escapment goals is a bad idea and did not take long.
