I met Brian Capron purely by chance when I used to work at Sainsbury's ....I'm not sure if he was pleased or not when I mentioned him playing Mr Hopwood in Grange Hill years ago.
The end of an era, Frank was the best character ever.
There will never be another Frank Burnside.
I will say this, D.I Burnside really held his own against the Bald-headed Bastard from Barton Street.
Burnside was all mouth
@@jacksugden8190. No he wasn’t. He had the courage of his convictions. And the scriptwriters gave him all the best lines! Marvellous actor.
@@jacksugden8190 maybe so, but he really enjoyed putting the wind up Cato!!
Great episode, DI Burnside left but we all know that he will come back.
Thank you for the download Jana.

Acting governor
Richard hillman walks into sun hill, what is it with that actor terrifying wherever he goes
It was bugging me where I recognized him from. And I agree lol he will always be Richard Hillman
@@carolinesconcertvids860he'll always be Mr Hopwood in Grange Hill for me

Yes Hollis was portrayed as a bumbling, lazy cop early on in series then later a clever but misunderstood cop

😀😀😀👍👍👍 Goodbye & Farewell DI Burnside, we hardly knew ye.
Frank and Ted r two best cid
That's when the Bill went down hill no Burnside or Roach
Cato's smirks get on my wick.

@@jacksugden8190Series 6, not Season 6
It s as if the world picked up when Burnside left . The villan s were shit scared of Burnside and roach for that matter
3.15 Brian Capron aka Richard Hillman Coronation Street, what was I saying about soap actors and the Bill.😄
CID was lost without Burnside
Burnside was unreplaceble....
I met Brian Capron purely by chance when I used to work at Sainsbury's ....I'm not sure if he was pleased or not when I mentioned him playing Mr Hopwood in Grange Hill years ago.
Brian Capron has just been on the sausage on a fork podcast talking about his career. It’s also on utube. Worth a listen
DI Burnside came back as DCI Burnside
Frank left I missed him.
i misss Ds ted roach
Better than DS Danny Pearce. 🙄🙄
Kevin Reardon Lloyd (28 March 1949 - 2 May 1998) unbelievable. Lovely bloke.
Anyone know why Chris left the bill 🤔?
An episode without Burnside or Roach ain't worth watching .
I didn't watch The Bill after Burnside left.
PROPER GEEZER
CATO WAS IN MY HERO AS THERMO MAN,S ODD FREIND TYLER
Sun Hill Railway Station in Meadows office
And then there were one!
Mr mancini series 4
Who took over from DI Burnside
DI Harry Haines came in for the rest of the series, then moved back to Area Drugs; and at the beginning of Series 10 DI Sally Johnson came to Sun Hill
When Burnside and Roach left they should have canned the series. After they left the series went down the tube.
It went downhill from about 2003 I reckon.
@@Beastgrowsfor me, it started to go downhill when they reinstated the hour long episodes in 1998 and started focusing on the officers sex lives.
Went downhill after Beech, so late 2001 onward was shite.
Burnside and Roach were from the pre PACE era, they were real cops who the serious criminals were really afraid of.

5th time for Brian Capron the bill
