You have not mentioned why there is a phase shift of 30 electrical degree b/w the primary and secondary. What is the reason ?

Jump to 8:29. With a 3 Phase system 180* out, motors will NOT operate in reverse rotation. The rotation and sequencing remain the same.
You're right, Changing phase displacement does not change phase sequence. Not sure why he threw that in at the end, I'll edit it out, thanks.
