I have this camera. Very easy setup, surprisingly good microphone, good video quality. For the price, you can't beat it. I'm going to get a few more so I can film multiple angles and zooms. That's a big advantage of the price--multiple cameras won't break the bank.

We have since revisited this and several other webcams in a low light environment. This time I closed the hurricane shutters so there is no sunlight, and we got a truly dark environment. Hi Guru Gamer! I don't have a MacBook Pro 16 inch to perform this test. Our videographer has a MacBook and I had an iMac so I will say they have a pretty good webcam. However, the Logitech webcams are still better due to RightLight technology that allows you to use them even in low light environments.

The more components you add, the higher the price. Look at the total cost of buying a webcam plus separate microphone and speakers. A solution I personally use is the Poly Studio P15. I have a dedicated home office. This is a great solution. Additionally, it offers some great features like Acoustic Fence, NoiseBlock AI and auto-framing. Hi Keith! Correct, the Logitech C925e is a personal use webcam with microphones. No speakers. I would love to understand the use case. Is this for personal or group use? There are several all-in-one devices (camera + mics + speakers) available however are typically designed for small, medium and large meeting spaces. I haven't tested eMeet products yet. I'll take a look at their solutions. We primarily focus on professional-grade solutions for large enterprise customers. It looks interesting though.

The problem is when they dock their laptops at their desk the audio automatically switches from the PC to the USB-C docking port. They have to manually switch the audio back to the PC for sound. Then they have to open the lid to use the microphone and camera. As a solution, trying to find a true all-in-one device so they can dock or actually plug up to the USB-C port replicator and not have to switch anything. It will just work and be available when needed. It seems that The device I mentioned might fit the bill. I was unable to fine any other devices with (camera + mics + speakers) in this price range and was looking for an alternative one when I came across your channel. Due to supply chain issue it's good to have a back up. Thanks.

@@Wambra I connected the C925e and held up a drivers license and it autofocused! I also tested other things with small print and it autofocused pretty good! 👍

(because it is very important these days, to see, how the camera adjusts - does it "lower the framerate" (to a point where any movement makes long trails?), "increase the amplification" (creating lots of image-noise?) - or a compromize?). And, what happens to the picture-dynamics? (will the image become "rough / low-dynamics"? will the image become plastic-coloured (like the Poly-5 image does in low-light)?
