Hi Jason, John is here from Move Shoot Move. Thank you so much for your fantastic video-it was truly informative and engaging. I just wanted to point out a small correction regarding the material composition you mentioned: the phone knob is actually made of metal as well, specifically aluminum alloy. Everything of tridaptor is made of metal, except the rubber pads 😁. Thanks again for the great content!
@@oXoSkaldeoXo Great idea! I just applied a 10% OFF discount for all Jason followers! The code is "JASON". Thanks again to Jason for the great content! By the way, tridaptor PLUS is under production to support 1.25''~3.34'' eyepieces.
I also bought the Celestron NeXYZ adapter for it's "game changer" 3rd axis adjustment. This actually looks like a better version of the same thing with a simpler design.
I just got one and it is fantastic. No more part of a photo, no more phone inclined to the eye piece, and I can make any adjustments if I need to with it still attached to the eye piece. Never going back to cheap adapters.
I didn't know about this unit last year when I bought a Celestron phone adaptor. If it breaks I will definitely consider this one. Thanks for the video 👍 🔭
I use a Celestron Digital Camera Adapter I can put a phone onto as well and it moves like that, but I use a camera. They still call it digiscoping, but my setup is best for videos.
Jason - I really appreciate your videos. I have a quick question I would love your thoughts on. Which is better at photography an inexpensive astro camera or an iphone 15 camera for taking photographs of deep space objects and the planets. Thanks, Doug
Ive just been looking for phone adapter for my telescope. This looks the likely candidate 👍🏼 i understand your busy but what camera settings did you use for your pictures if any? Great to see you back making good content
Hi Jason, I have the Celestron XYZ. It tends to sag a little when having a barlow and phone attached. This is causing misalignment to the eyepiece. Is that not the case with this adapter?

i love visual viewing but if i can catch a pic on my phone i enjoy showing it to friends. the moon is easy and my favorite to show off.

Thank you Jason! Yet another great informative video from across the pond
I got one of the cheaper ones and this looks great.

Agree,I have the cheap plastic one.Stopped using it due to frustration, it never keeps centre

Hello Jason, you got already phone adapter but I just found Apexel phone adapter... It it really cheap but great little thing.
Thanks Mate 👍
I have one of those, its so easy to use...even on my cheap telescope i got brilliant pics of the moon. 🎑
Again a great video thanks Jason!!!
love mine. so easy to use. got the bluetooth cam button fob also so easy
Have it. I concur.
Very tempting! Might treat myself for my birthday.

Indeed this device, it's an improvement of those hateful Plastic adaptors. Also a cheap alternative to expensive "Celestron Adaptor".
I abolsutely distate the Celestron ones.
But this is still difficult trying to use at night. especially changing eyepieces.
Thanks!
Thank you. Very much appreciate my friend.
Thanks, but I already have a phone adapter and I use it constantly on my telescope.

Nice adapter.
The link is dead. Do you have another?
Glad i found you on here..... your a bloody crack up... but you put everything in plain English so it's easy to follow.. On ya mate..
How do you adjust the phone to be parallel with the eyepiece? In the video you can see the phone is not parallel.
Hi Jason, I have the Celestron XYZ. It tends to sag a little when having a barlow and phone attached. This is causing misalignment to the eyepiece.
Is that not the case with this adapter?
Have you tried one of the smart telescopes like SeeStar or the dwarf 2?
He has tried Dwarf 2 before. Check out the channel and scroll through until you find the videos.
This is a gateway dr*g to DSLR astrophotography.
😂😅 could well be...Thanks for watching buddy.
@@smalloptics753 however, I have better 13s exposures of Andromeda w/ an old V20 phone than I've gotten w/ an EOS (so far).
Thanks Jason! I just ordered one...
I had a NexYZ. Not impressed with it. Way over engineered, and not very stable, or precise.
I bought a Celestron NexYZ a couple of years ago. Works perfectly for me.
Thanks!
