DOUBLE BOX ALL THT BREAKABLE STUFF! I've learned so much watching other YTubers with glass, ceramics, and tons more that I never had a clue about. I went to a local friend's small antique store and she walked around with me as I showed off my small bit of knowledge to her! That was fun and she added more to my knkowledge!
When trying to identify signed signed pottery or dishware I look them up on "Replacements", a retail specialty store to purchase pieces of these items when you break yours.
Glad I watched this I literally just bought a 2 quart Revere sauce pan at the swap meet for $2 two days ago, looked it up and its almost a $40 item!! Thank you and keep up the good vids!!
We went to goodwill yesterday and got some rare corning ware garden cat pattern and other corning ware and other glassware. About $60 in and the garden cat stuff is almost triple our money back. ALWAYS CHECK THAT STUFF!!!
That Ugly budda has blown me away brilliant finds Starbucks mug is awesome. So happy about the Clock & Dior amazing sales Matt . I was hype like I was making money 💰🤑🤣🤣
It is a vintage rusticana chicken head covered casserole porcelain stewpot. I looked it up and it took me straight to Pinterest but it doesn’t give a price. Being that it’s vintage I say price it as you want. Because there’s so many people that are interested in farm animals and homesteading. It would be an excellent addition to their homes. I’m anxious to know you price it. What an awesome find.
Buy some "Bar Keepers Friend" souring powder where they sell the Comet & Ajax scouring powder. Use a green scrubby pad & water with the Bar Keepers & it will polish up the bottom of that pot like a new copper penny.
It is great to learn about things, we are never to old to learn! I am getting back into ebay selling, and love watching your vids. Went to an Estate Sale and kept in mind what you said. Found some nice things to sell at great prices. I have done toys in the past. Play sets, certain dolls, a lot of resell potential in used toys. Continued success.
Love to see you branching out! My only advice for the breakables is to really look them over - it’s easy to miss chips and cracks and they make a huge difference in resale value. You might glance through the figurines too, Lladro figurines can pop up and they can be good money with the right ones.
Funny you’re branching out. Thanks to seeing you pick at the Habitat Restore, I went to a local one and found a great deal on cabinet pulls. Just got them listed today, so we’ll see how quickly they go. Keep up the great vids 😀
Make sure that whatever pot or pan you buy does not rock when put on a flat surface. Otherwise, it has been overheated and is warped. Women who buy cookware can be very fussy. Know what state your Revere ware is made makes a difference too. I have been reselling kitchenware for 20 years and I know more than I ever wanted to know. Parts to older good brand cookware can bring some good money. Look at heat controllers for appliances. Cooking utensils with the wooden riveted handles like Ekco, Flint, Robinson, etc. can bring good money. I could go on and on about this...lol.
Great fun on the Italian pot. It is Oven King Rusticana with turkey bird finials for the lid handle. I saw some comps 35-55 range. You may want to check Etsy.
May you make a video on how you are going to pack fragile items ? Thank you for you videos! Recently I sold San Marco blanket for 100 and got it for 10! Thank you you videos!
Good deal on the flip clock. Surprising what a movie can do for old clocks and other items that would otherwise not be worth a lot. I lucked out a while back in getting the flip clock featured in No Country for Old Men - the clock sold for about 4x more than it normally would have been worth. Great vid.
Wow you found a great budha. I would have passed him buy LOL, not having a clue. I live near Seattle so all the thrift store price the Starbucks mugs up...a lot because of course, Starbucks founded here. The average going rate in a goodwill or value village around here is $13-14. So whenever I see them I really have to comp them carefully to ensure I can get 3 X that much (or try to). Most of the time I leave them there. I was wondering what they ended up charging you for that one? One time I lucked out and I found 4 of a series that were all marked $3.49. I rushed them into my cart. The girl packed them loosely inside clothing I had bought and put in a bag. I put on front seat in my car and headed home. Of course, a car pulled out at the last minute in front of me forcing me to slam on my brakes and the bag flew forward. It broke 2 of my mugs! Oh no! LOL. So I was bummed. I sold the remaining two in a lot almost the next day for like $30. I just wish the other two had survived. Now I am more careful with things in the car. I was going to say, the issue with glassware is the shipping, its breakable! You have to be so cautious with transporting, storing and shipping it, I would have left the big pitcher there...due to the storage and shipping headache myself. If I knew it would sell overnight for $30 plus full ship maybe. Ok well, really curious what the starbucks mug was priced at down there...I think locally here we're pretty priced out of buying for resale on them most of the time. Love your channel, learning so much.
It's good to look for new things to pick up. I would have left the creamer behind only because when I sourced it, there wasn't very many sold comps. I have been cleaning up my workspace and pitched a 5 inch stack of my old china inventory sheets from 12 years ago. Most of it I don't have anymore and I do my inventory differently. I used to do lots of china but have been much more picky about what I pick up. Thanks for taking us thrifting! Good luck on the sales.
Like your videos, China and crystal are a good addition for reselling, I spent 10 yrs working for a company like Replacements. Keep it up Robert aka Future Fortunes
If you want to learn glass and pottery watch Crazy Lamp Lady. She is a reseller and has built an amazing business. She has a huge building that will be a antique mall. She knows her stuff.
Toby mugs that go for good prices (although a fraction of former prices) are Royal Doulton ones from England. The Japanese ones don't sell well or for high prices although you'll have a better shot with more buyers looking at your listings due to youtube.
Gr8 find's Matt... That Buddha piece will sell for sweet $$ and those Toby mug's are very collectable and valuable depending on who's on the mug... Nice variety... Well done... Stay safe homie...👍💞🔥⚾😷
Great Find Matt, I have seen several of those casserole / Dutch oven dishes. One sold on worth point with this description “OVEN KING RUSTICANA ITALY COVERED OVAL SERVING DISH WITH TURKEY HEADS HANDLE”. I have seen them with Turkeys and Rabbits for handles.
On some of that new pottery or cups you’re getting into maybe try Google lens, it’s been working amazingly for me and identifying almost everything I take pictures of
Any Italian kitchenware is a good pic...I’d list it for $45.00 plus shipping. Those face mugs are Toby knock-offs, not the originals. But they could still make a profit. 6-Qt Revere Ware w/ lid, $50.00 plus shipping, all day.
Hi again Matt. I just wanted to ask you where do you get those stickers for "ground shipping only" to be used for perfumes, etc. My post office doesn't have them and neither does the USPS website. Thank you for any advice.
That Revereware copper bottom was super clean. I have had my set since 1988 and I finally decided to clean up them up last month. They were so blackened you couldn't see the copper. They are still not as good looking as that pot though.
Hello Part Time Picker. Been watching now for a bit, I enjoy because I used to live I Northen CA. Snowline Hospice Thrift is amazing, if you ever get to Folsom be sure and stop by that one! What kind of camera do you use to record your streams when you go out ? Is it a gopro headgear recorder? Looks like you are hands-free. Thanks in advance
We’ve done pretty good with Starbucks mugs. They don’t always sell super fast but good roi. Some of the specialty waffle-house mugs go fast. Sure a lot of different ones do lol. 👍👍
Great shopping, you have a great eye. When are you going to scoop up OG Pop's? I enjoy seeing you guys source together. Kat is amazing! Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love your vids ! As soon as a notification comes up I’m on you tube !! Inspires me to go to charity shops in the Uk (which are very very small shops) but not sure the money is there to be made like the US ! Can’t wait for your next upload xx
Well that was an eye opener. I have got the exact same Buddha ornament as an ornament in my garden! I think I better bring it in the house. Matt would you please let me know if you sell it?
Matt, I know you've already looked up Starbucks mugs and know the value etc. That specific style is the one that is worth the most. I only remember them because of the terrible font. If you never look up any mugs always look up that style.
I would list the brown ceramic dish as a vintage game bird tureen and you should be able to get more money out of it (check ebay listings under game bird tureen). At least that's what it reminds me the most of.
Yes, Toby mugs. Chicken pot, I'm thinking $45.99. The pot is classic Revere Ware. The handle shape and copper-clad bottom are dead giveaways. It will say RevereWare in the center of the bottom. I have the same pot and love it for soup and spaghetti sauce. RevereWare does great on ebay. LOL...eau de toilet is pronounced oh-de twalay. Of course that's most of the French I know. LOL Great pick ups today!
Pick up any vintage cookie jars you come across as well. I just found a Donald Duck, Cow Jumped Over the Moon, Humpty Dumpty and and a very rare Shawnee Pottery Sailor Boy which I just listed for $200 and is probably too low.
Hey. I watch you all the time. If you could get this info out to share in a video: I found printing shipping lables out at Wal-Mart photo booth is pretty slick.. In a crunch it could be fast or cheap.. .09cents a lable if you source clearence for an hour 😆
Matt.. Those books in the background were calling you! But you didn't answer? Take a few minutes to select a few autobiographies (or similar) by notable people & check if they're autographed.. there's $$$ in them pages!
Hey great vid! If you’re looking to learn about these types of items, check out Dr. Lori. She has a PhD in antiques, and teaches you how to identify the expensive stuff. ☮️
Awesome that you were able to find so much all in the same spot! I had no idea buddha items did so well! Learn something new everyday! Good luck with your sales!
You really have a good eye for resellable items. Knowledge helps, but sometimes gut instinct is all you need!
DOUBLE BOX ALL THT BREAKABLE STUFF! I've learned so much watching other YTubers with glass, ceramics, and tons more that I never had a clue about. Amazing what people will buy. A old broken clock. However, I have learned from you to look out for these flip clocks. Keep up the great videos.
When trying to identify signed signed pottery or dishware I look them up on "Replacements", a retail specialty store to purchase pieces of these items when you break yours.
Thanks! Good to know.
I use them all the time.
You can also upload a picture to identify a pattern
I have Wedgewood china so old that it's not on Replacements...Where could I look?
@@susank2463
I honestly don't know. I've never found a piece I couldn't find on Replacements. 🙁
Nightmas Before Christmas ANYTHING sells well, it has a major following
Glad I watched this I literally just bought a 2 quart Revere sauce pan at the swap meet for $2 two days ago, looked it up and its almost a $40 item!! Thank you and keep up the good vids!!

Sent ya a worthpoint on the chicken/pheasant oven pot, that and the buddha are amazing pickups Matt you'll get the eye soon enough :D
Hi Matt,
You should watch the Crazy Lamp Lady. She's very knowledgeable about glassware and vintage. Love your videos, learning alot.
That Ugly budda has blown me away brilliant finds Starbucks mug is awesome. So happy about the Clock & Dior amazing sales Matt . I was hype like I was making money 💰🤑🤣🤣
The mugs that sell the fastest in my booths are animal mugs. Especially if they have parts of their body as the handle

I hate stores that DON'T have paper to wrap breakables in! I keep some paper in my trunk! There is nothing worse than chipped items!
@@asphaltgypsy868 right there with you! I do the same just in case.
You did good Buddy!

Wow! Golden touch, I never find that much that goes for so much, very lucky!! I’m happy for you.

I love watching you learn new stuff! You are generous with your knowledge, so I learn also! Love to the family from cold icy Western PA.
Toby mugs are Royal Doulton

I love that Buddha. Great pickups for a Sunday!

Great job on the revere stock pot! I’m here in Illinois and it’s a big deal. To find copper bottom pots it is rare. Fantastic!

Good job Matt! For sure the Buddha's are a bolo.. And the Revereware! Hard to beat that copper bottom "cooks evenly".
As always, great finds!!! Will be following along to learn the porcelain and glassware as well. Thanks for sharing!
Gr8 find's Matt... That Buddha piece will sell for sweet $$ and those Toby mug's are very collectable and valuable depending on who's on the mug... Nice variety... Well done... Stay safe homie...👍💞🔥⚾😷

I'm also branching out into dishes and pottery. It's so interesting how VALUABLE some can be! Another great video, Matt. Thanks!
Weekends suck at goodwill! Awesome find on the Buddha! Definitely gona keep my eyes open for glass
I found a Japanese starbuck's mug and sold it for $59.85, happy camper here!!

Awesome. I will have to try that also.
“It can’t be this easy right” picks up everything and will make bank 😂
I sell lots and lots of vintage Revere Ware. The larger the pot, the more money you can expect to receive.
Hustling Hooks are the king & queen of pots and pans. They sell thousands of those for a big money.

Be careful with the delicate stuff, USPS tends to like to play football with it. When it's posted fragile it must mean spike hard!
Anchor Hawkins mugs, vintage snoopy mugs and specialty beer mugs / glasses have done great for me
Just sold my Starbucks Paris mug. Tinkerbell sells like crazy. 😊
LOL - “it can’t be this easy” great video fun to see you trying new things!
Great video as always. I miss going thru those goodwills in San Leandro.
That’s crazy! It’s like the great items were up front waiting fo you!!!
Certain Pyrex casseroles sale good. I've sold a couple.

You missed what looks like a CISSP it cert guide at 4:56 worth about 70 if new.
Good eye on the glass! It's my favorite niche.
To get top dollar clean the copper bottom. Bar keepers friend cleaner does a great job. Your pot doesn’t look bad so shouldn’t be too hard.
Cat Bodine You're right!
💙😎nice job branching out😎💙
Nice buy on the Revere Wear pot! I just scored 2 Magnalite pots at Goodwill!!
That Buddha was a surprise score!
Well that was an eye opener. I have got the exact same Buddha ornament as an ornament in my garden! I think I better bring it in the house. Matt would you please let me know if you sell it?

Starbucks Greece! Who would have thought? Thanks for the info!
Any Starbucks mug with a country on it should go for good money,
That's the Goodwill where I found a 20 oz sterling teapot. Im always checking there.

For stuff like the chicken dish, I use Etsy a lot to look up comps. There’s one one Etsy right now for $45.
It's a vintage oven king casserole dish from italy... they made them with birds, rabbits etc as handles. Your pricing is about right...
The Rusticana chicken dish is in stock on etsy for 35 GBP, and there are some solds on Worthpoint, but I dont have an account.
i used to have some of those flip clocks--who knew 😝
If you organize the sold listing by price it will organize the one sold on offer the same way. You get a better idea of what they sold for.
Matt..
Those books in the background were calling you! But you didn't answer? Take a few minutes to select a few autobiographies (or similar) by notable people & check if they're autographed.. there's $$$ in them pages!

Lots of worthpoint comps for $18-$40 on the rusticana

Nice finds Matt 👍 always puts me off is the packing China wear and pottery 🙈
Hey Matt. Great pickups here.
Enjoyed thrifting with you.
