That is so cool. I've wanted a Lahti since I was a kid. I hear that they have an accelerator in them like a Browning MG so they work reliably in arctic conditions. Very interesting. Thank You
Having a nice Lahti would be a real attention getter at the range! For many years we had a WWII bring back Luger in the family, was able to shoot it as a teenager. Thanks for posting such cool videos!!
It must go back to my childhood being 77 and watching all those Moves about WW2 and looking At German Lugars and I've been Fascinating by their beauty even Surpassing 1911 Colt..which is my 2nd most beautiful pistol....
Having lived in Finland, I've had an interest in Finnish firearms. I've always wanted a Lahti pistol. I even bought a Swedish Lahti holster so I'd have one just in case. Over the years, I've only seen one in person at a gun show. I can't remember what the price was, but it was way beyond my available budget at the time. I never saw another, and now I'm retired and well beyond my days of collecting.
At first glance the Lahti L-35 looks a lot like the Luger, but because it has been in service so long, I believe it is better. I know well the quality of the Luger 9mm, so I believe the Lahti must be an excellent pistol.
The m/35 Lahti was of course license built in Sweden by Husqvarna as the m/40. They were used by the Swedish military up until the 1980s when it was replaced by the Glock 17 (designated "Pistol m/88)
I hate modern firearms so much it's unreal. These should be in current production. The Lahti is the only gun I've seen in a decade that truly made me awe at it's beauty.
Too bad everyone wants plastic crap. I'm in the same camp as you though, but more heavily into semi-automatic rifle with vintage look.( M1 Garand, Johnson Rifle, M1A)
Just a hint to anyone who buys the P08 ones. You have to use high load military type ammo or the case will get stuck in the breach from not ejecting fully.
Luger is most beautyful gun ever made. I have one in war for Croatian independence when i was volonter. My neibour give my this gun. He is made from ww2 from German oficier. I shot the L-35 and I didn't like it.

I'm stunned a Finnish museum would part with such an incredible part of Finnish history.
They probably have a billion of them in storage and decided to part with the excess.
@@chris.3711 better than being destroyed, it hurts my heart just imagine that a masterpiece like this can be crushed by a steamroller.
Around 1600-1700 bucks for each if you don’t feel like checking, some are less, some are more. None less than 1300
Thanks friend
@@edgarburlyman738 Yw, good luck on getting one of you want one
Thanks. Not all heroes wear capes. Unless you do wear a cape, no judgement here, you do you. 🤣
20 years ago I had one for $300. Lahti.
I would pay Double the price if could get it to the UK
This is awesome everyone of these are a truly special piece of history!
The Lahtis are such gorgeous guns.
Incredible weapons… Thanks Alden
Wow such beautiful pieces. Kind of hard to Fathom why a museum would let them go.... somebody's loss and somebody's gain I guess.

Why would a 'museum' have dozens of identical pistols?
Why would a collector?
