      @@krushna4181 What kind of drawbacks, Mr. genius? Ather has been making great products - they took 5 years to perfect their tech and have been 4 years in the Indian market. All cars - from Tigor EV ( currently the cheapest EV in India ) to Rimac Nevera use liquid cooling. Just one disadvantage - increased cost. So say straightly that they're cutting costs from the scooter rather than defending them. If you say it's an Indian brand, then I'd like to tell you that Ather is also an Indian brand. I'm not an engineer or anything, but batteries usually gets on fire due to bad BMS. So unless the BMS fails to do what it's supposed to, batteries should be safe. Also real life testing is different then lab testing. India's temperatures easily reaches up to 50 degrees (in Celsius). Maybe the battery chemistry was not good for such harsh environment. Still If the batteries were overheating, the BMS should've done it's job of cutting the supply.
    And yes a cooling system would be a nice addition without adding too much to the cost. Even IC engines has proper heatsink for the cylinder part. They can somehow make a heatsink for the batteries so that they're air cooled rather than sealed in pack.

    • @sunnysurwade464
      @sunnysurwade464 2 года назад +3

      It's because of people drive in extreme heat which heats up the Lithium-ion batteries to much, also park in sun that's why batteries caught fire, Same can happen with smartphone batteries.

    • @Victor-056
      @Victor-056 2 года назад +6

      Not just india, and not due to Heat persay.
      These Scooters have to be sold to Asia as well, and in asia, you have to worry about humidity more than heat.
      One of the worse enemies of Lithium Ion Batteries is Humidity, and can result in Corrosion that either shortens the battery lifespan, or increase the risk of catching on fire.
      That's why Most Electric Cars don't really _last_ that long in Asia. The climate there is the Bane of every electric based vehicle.

      Blender - free but the slowest of all. Maxon Redshift - paid but fastest of all & professional. Autodesk Arnold (3D Rendering) - paid but extremely fast & professional. Autodesk Maya (VFX) - paid but extremely fast & professional. I'd prefer Arnold.

      @@HeresEverythinG Without software, there are no skills. It's too apparent you're just saying stuff without actually using the software. With the kind of videos and how frequently they upload, it doesn't make sense to use Blender. It's affectionately called the snail by many professionals. Something which takes 1 day on redshift and 1.2 days on Arnold can take as much as 5 days on Blender. So don't speak before using things. I like AutoCAD and Arnold the best. Because (I'm nitpicking here), even though Redshift is the fastest, its Ray Tracing is a notch lower in quality compared to Arnold. And both being software from the same company, they can inter-operate easily.

    • @HeresEverythinG
      @HeresEverythinG 2 года назад +1

      @@ravenclawgamer6367 then let me know how much you have used blender and what all projects you have made
      And just by saying some software names you can't say you know everything. You are comparing costliest softwares with free one. Don't judge the potential of the software with its cost

    1 minute into the video and ouch, I got hit with 'reluctance torque'. I just had to look it up. Reluctance is magnetic circuit resistance, so a low reluctance motor is good, having bags of circulating magnetic flux. I learnt something new, good video thanks!

    yes , i liked this vid' very much. its a 1'st for me to see a pro & con
    presentation for a vehicle. i'll be coming back for updates.
    one thing to ask for is based on living in colorado where so many roads
    are uphill. could you provide some info on the battery elevation gain data.
    for instance the elev where i live is 5300'. and my wish is to ride
    the Ola north 25 miles to Cripple Creek. situated at 9500'.
    the road is paved 1/2 the way, then becomes an
    all-weather maintained dirt county road.
    how far can i expect to get on a full charge ?

    Why didn't Ola use active cooling mechanisms for its battery pack and motor? Would have prevented the overheating issues. I guess more customers would have been okay with the price increase to get a safer product.
