I think we'll discover that Steve still knows her favorite song, since he's carrying a torch for her. Him remembering this will be the trigger that makes Nancy take him back.
@@epbrown01 a lot of people are against this but I ship Nancy and Steve so much, and with all of the chemistry this season I think you’re right!! I still feel bad for Jonathan though:( BUT stancy is to die forrrrr
@@epbrown01 I’m still trying to understand how Nancy got trapped into Vecna’s web! I understand she went through the trauma in S1 and S2 after Barb’a death but she did came out to Barb’s parents and then she came out of that trauma. In S4, we didn’t see any signs of Nancy going through headaches, nose bleed, nightmares..etc but she went into trance when Vecna invaded her mind.
Or could be that Vecna wanted to show Nancy how it all began because Nancy is so desperate to know about the Creel House and Vecna.
Seems a bit confusing.

This season is so badass, I didn't see 001 coming, just so cool. Does the timeline for 008, Kahli match up? Please let me know. This is my favorite so far, they rocked it.
I think 008 left before that, because we didn’t see her at any of the training either
I wonder if 008 will ever show up again, i’ll be the first to admit that episode in season 2 about 008 is probably my least favorite episode in all of the seasons of stranger things, but I think it’d be cool to see her one last time

Eleven max and vecna/henry/one are the highlights of this season so far and the hawkins/creel team is the best
It's amazing how many people didn't clue in to the fact that he was both number 1 and Vecna. They gave it away in episode 5.

Vecna went after people who felt guilty. His father for killing the innocents, Fred for the car accident, Max for Billy's death, and Nancy for Barb's death. They never really showed us what Chrissy and Patrick were feeling guilty for, but it must have been for something.
I don't think "guilt" is the right word. But "shame". Chrissy felt guilty/ashamed of her weight and bulimia. Patrick was ashamed of the physical abuse he was suffering at home.
@@Saphthings Hmm, maybe a bit of both? When Vecna was taunting them, he kept saying, "You know what you've done." That sounds more like guilt-tripping than being ashamed to me.
One of the hallmarks of trauma survivors is the tendency to blame themselves. Vecna feeds off of an manipulates those feelings of self blame

This episode explains so a lot about what happened in season one and why Brenner pushed El so hard to use her powers to find people and find out more about the Upside Down. He wants to find and capture, or most likely kill, 001 because he killed the rest of the children. Brenner wants revenge.

God I’d seen stills of One’s head tilt before I was caught up (like before seeing episode 5 even) and it reminded me of Vecna instantly, so I guess I got spoiled on that point
i believe brenner(papa) isn’t as bad as we once believed him to be, obviously he’s done terrible things but he definitely isn’t an evil guy like we once thought
Yeah true as we could see he was nice to number 10 I think? But he changed after all the kids died because of eleven (actually 001) so since then he treated eleven harshly.
@@Amsup Nah, fuck him. He ripped children away from their families and experimented on them. The fact that he was nice to them at some poiunt doesn't justify him. It's like saying that if a rapist kidnaps someone, does horrible things to them but brings them breakfast and brushes their hair then they're actually not that bad.
Evil isn't a real thing/trait of people, just a construct we use to try to explain behaviors that come from hurt and/or confused and/or disordered people. The worst "evil" actions that have ever been done, in fact most "evil" actions that have ever been done, are done by people who are absolutely convinced they're doing the right thing that's good for others/the world. And the people who are the most saccharine and really do try to represent themselves as "nice" are the ones that disgust and scare me the most. The road to hell is paved with sadistic creeps like Dr. Brenner. He can't die in a monumental pile of fires fast enough for me.
(To clarify, I don't mean to argue that anyone should see the character the same way I do, just putting my thoughts out there especially because I have my soapbox about evil not being a real human trait. He's a fictional character and every experience of him is valid, and I think it's cool that he's providing an exercise for people in giving chances and seeing new sides to others' motivations!)
Yeah I've been hating on him since the beginning but this episode made me realize a bunch of things. Don't get me wrong, he has done a lot of bad shit but now I get why he pushed El so hard
This episode was crazyyy but episode 4 is probably still my favorite because of the scene with max vs vecna.
And Just remember El did all this back in 1979.... So she would be 8years old of Something

we were not in the present el was in the tank its all orgin of the show, she was remembering, them end scenes, clever way to show that it was el who opened the first gate , and vecna came to be etc , now its up to her and the gang to seal them forever, when she took out his chip, I knew he was bad lol

I'm so glad he turned out to be the big bad because whenever we would get a scene with him I would roll my eyes "not this guy again".

They Showed him so much that when the girls get to that asylum and the guy said his son was sensitive I kind of started it theorizing. I’ll see though I never thought you would be evil I thought the kids would be somehow helping 11 at the end not him being the big bad and try to kill everybody

I think that all of this story has evolved since season one. Eleven was practically nonverbal back then, because she was just like this lab rat who wasn't properly socialized. So what's the sort of remake explanation for that now, do y'all think? Was it like a long time between this and when she actually broke out of the lab? So like was she basically in a box alone most of that gap of time? Or like traumatized into being semi-verbal?

Am I the only one wondering what happened to 008? 11 is not the only one who survived that onslaught. The black girl that was playing with her in that one room survived too. And she had like a different type of power then just psychic abilities. In fact I don’t think she even had them. Her name was Kali I believe that they introduced in the second season. She escaped the facility before the onslaught even happened I guess with the abilities she had. But it looks like every test subject had the same exact ability of psychic abilities because of 001 and him being the original and I guess they all got blood from him or something. But that doesn’t explain 008 because her powers were completely different. She’s also I think the second oldest of all of them because her age is 20. I believe she’s older then everyone else except for 001. She had powers instead to invade the mind and make people see things that aren’t actually there and things of this nature. Not even 001 has this ability. So am I the only one whose wondering who the hell she is then? And we haven’t seen her since season 2 but surely she much have a bigger act to play? I mean she’s one of the 11 for crying out loud and the only other survivor besides 11 and 001. And since her powers are different perhaps she will be able to help fight Vecna? I mean it is odd right? Like literally any experiment child only had the psychic power to move things with their mind and all but 008s power is completely different. Either that or she actually always had the psychic ability too just somehow hid it from others or something and then enhanced her mind powers to do more? But I don’t know it didn’t look like she could move things, only implant images in peoples mind. She even tried to teach 11 how to use her powers better. I’m very curious about her.

Unlike most of the shows now a days which gets boring after some season Stranger Things is like wine it gets better and better as time is passing.
@Maria Rodriguez I want a Eleven spinoff Tv series that shows her life in a different point of view meaning her life plays out differently from the the normal series but it ties in with the stranger things series
What I mean is the last episode of season 4 could play out differently where 001 and 011 have their battle what if their powers got so powerful they dissolved each other into the upside down 001 becoming Vecna and 011 becomes his bride and the other numbers try to save her and 001 from the darkness of the upside down
Eeek! I consider all bets off when it comes to video content and comments sections, and I get that this is a reaction to the ending of vol 1, but I really think you should reconsider using a clear visual indicator of a big piece of the BIGGEST TWIST OF THE SEASON as your THUMBNAIL 😬 I just scrolled by this on my home feed (people don't have to be seeking reactions to stumble across them, after all) and I'd be really upset if I hadn't gotten to finish the volume yet.
Don't mean to be a jerk or anything, I'm sure you're a thoughtful person and I think I've got some of your reactions playlisted for later actually, but that struck me as something that feedback should be given about. I know personally it slightly turns me off from possibly subscribing down the road because I wouldn't want increased chances of seeing a spoiler thumbnail from other shows I would be following you for, know what I mean?

@@MaijoRodriguez Hey it's all good, it was a very reasonable mistake to make! It was certainly an exciting frame to use and it did look super cool haha. The show is an exciting emotional whirlwind and inspires a lot of creative passion, and it's easy to be swept up in the experience and forget to account for different people being out of sync. I wouldn't want to be in the position of publishing reactions and balancing all those variables haha. I don’t wanna be “that girl” but Nancy/ Robin? I think it’s gonna happen.
I feel Jonathan is out of the equation. He isn’t talking to her( he even applied to a different college than her) and that’s always been their lack of communication. Like her parents, her mom is miserable because she doesn’t want to speak to her husband about her problem she’s having with him. With Steve, it might be just too predictable, plus, she previously picked Robin over him. Twice. With Robin, I feel he deserves better. Now Robin, let me remind you that she is clueless when it comes to understanding social cues around girls? She probably has no clue that she’s passive aggressively liking Nancy. Steve picked Vickie, and yeah, she might be gay, but, Robin’s gotta be true to herself. Sure, Vickie laughed... but it was Steve’s joke... not her own. It’s very likely that Nancy isn’t a lesbian, or bisexual but she may very well be Pansexual... she falls for the person... not their parts.
Just my thoughts.
But how is It possible 11 created Vecna, if Vecna already existed before she was imprisoned once again in the lab? 🤔
