- November was a crazy month for pickups, so I wanted to share my favorite sneaker and clothing additions to the closet. With Black Friday sales going on, I figured it was appropriate! I agree, I would even say he is the last realest person on here, because anyone else younger than him is just a lame. Eddie is highly respected because he never took the same path every other content creator for the most part is doing.

Eddie, you will be fine with the Bostons. I bought my first pair beginning of the year. I too didn’t find them comfortable the first 3 weeks…until I broke them in. Then my goodness, game changer! I wear them more than any other in the rotation these days. Wear them with no socks all day (if you can) and that will do the trick. It took mine almost 3 weeks to break in but I did socks and bare foot so…barefoot I believe will break them in faster. -One

I have the exact bostons you got and you def made the right choice. The leather ones have more structure and age better. The footbed, soft or not, will mold to your foot with time. They don’t breathe like the Arizonas though, so wear them w socks.

I had to size up on my Boston Clogs, same issue. Glad I sized up.
In the Birkenstock Boston I’ve bought I’ve sized up.
As a Birk lover, you might have to size up if you got that toe discomfort. The footbed will mold and get softer but that toe thing will remain.

Am I getting old that the shoe I loved most was the beef and broccoli? Used to have them nearly 20 years ago when I was a young stepper. Now I’m just eagerly awaiting for that one particular bargain to land in my lap lol

Shape will change over time on Bostons, the foot bed on the birks will mold to your feet and get more comfortable over time

Yes after a while the footbed adapts. In the first wears birks are aweful and then they become nice
if buy Birks later look at the London clog more winter friendly I don’t feel anything in the toes, you can step on the backs if you want to just where them out like Boston’s, glad U also be thrifting, I’ve been buying used Selvedge denim for a fraction of the price luv it’s already perfectly distressed and broken-in. My TJ Max has been flooded with LL Bean, got an awesome lined tan coloured barn coat for $50 and a warm teal/black flannel for $25.

I worn those Bostons at work, in a busy kitchen, for about 2 years. My feet hurt and my heels got super cracked. It's a nice clog but after I left that work, they haven't been worn in ages.

@Eddiewinkicks yes I did, just around COVID. I was burnt out already so when COVID hit, it was the perfect time to leave.
I sized up 1/2 in the birks, my heel is a little off the back but it’s still cozy

Birks are my go-to sandal. I couldn't wear Boston because of that same lip issue you are referring to. I wear a size 44 in Birks

@Eddiewinkicks Wore them about 3 or 4 times and then just gave up. Personally, I think that piece is to keep the shape of clog, so the better option is probably sizing up, which is my guess. My sister says the one with the lamb fur lining doesn't have that issue since the lining acts like a cushion.

Super weird for you to be unboxing Birkenstocks. But if you were to ask me years ago I would not even be wearing skate shoes and now they've become one of my new favorite types of shoes. I think a sneakerheads we grow and evolve ourselves ourselves into what we like and don't like within the sneaker and Boot and shoe culture as a whole

That north face vest is 😮💨 great pickups Eddie. As far as the women’s releases, I think it’s a good thing. Nike has struggled in the past to market to women imo, a lot of women’s sneaker models and colorways just felt lazy and uninspired. There’s been a real push in recent years to focus on women’s sneakers and I think this particular air max sunder release shows that. Most popular sneaker releases were almost always exclusively men’s releases so I like the push to include women in dope models and colorways as well. A women’s release that transcends the typical “gender norm” I think is a success. Great video Eddie
100% agree with what you’re saying! Don’t get it wrong I’m happy that there’s been more women’s releases that aren’t just “add some pink to it”, much needed for sure. My confusion is in the “extended sizing”. I’d be happier if they just made them a normal women’s size run that capped at 10.5, no need to go up to a men’s 15 and act like they’re being marketing more towards women, they’re trying to get the men’s dollar but have it look like a women’s purchase on paper

UK sizing is more or less unisex out here, women's kicks just come up slightly narrower than men's.

I promis it Will go away , all birks are like that i use the open toe for work (chef) 👨🍳 and i hated Them for the first week then they “become the foot” 😊 so use em at Home where you Can dump em when its to much , thats my advice , but it aint style or d´fasion in my case , sh.. in my days it get beat up wearing those

What’d you snag off extra butter? Urban outfitters does usually have some great sales but it gives me a headache to sort through all the junk on their site, they need to trim the fat
@ I grabbed a monk strapped pair of Doc Marteen’s & I got a pair of the Pegasus a cream with red hits off SNS ( sneakers and stuff )

the soft bed will foam into your foot shape, but the outsole of Birks dont last long unfortunately😢

Birkenstocks don't break in to your foot shape- it's the other way around!
I size up in air maxes but haven’t gotten a pair of sunders before. Would you recommend sizing up in these too or do they fit more tts?
I went up a half size and they fit me well, since most Nike’s fit snug now, it’s always a safe bet to size up

Nike does “women” shoes so they can show a good mix between men and women even if women don’t buy nearly as much as men.

@ of course, I’m not saying women shouldn’t be marketed to, don’t do that. They deserve the same products men get. My confusion is why they make an extended size run up to size 15 when they typically wouldn’t. It’s clear mostly only men will buy those larger sizes, which is why resellers buy them and charge 3x, take a look at any women’s shoe that has an extended size run on the resell market

I so wanted the captain Marvel vans for example, did not go up to my size, and I have a niece who makes my feel look small, so I like she has options, and that doesn't include trans people...

Did you go true to size on the field boots? i usually go a full size down in constructs , wanted to know if they're similar in their sizing
They run more true to size than constructs, you could get away with going .5 down but I wouldn’t recommend a full size
