The tragedy of this scene is that in the long run, Janice was right, as much I absolutely hate to say it. Not on terms of Meadow but A.J. And Janice being right is the wors thing to come true ever.
@Telephone Tough Guy Janice wasn't on point, she was being a hypocrite. Earlier she said Meadow punishment was too light and to give her the credit card and Carmela and Tony told her to stay out of it. Then she saw the house was trashed and wanted Meadow punished more was showing her selfishness not that she had any insight into parenting.
People commonly mistake the first half of this clip for horrible music. It's actually Janice driving around the neighborhood bellowing her mating call to lure another poor bastard
Janice was right to be upset about the condition of the house, but should have left it at that; just express outrage about the mess and the fact that it hadn't been cleaned up yet. Even so, it is true that Tony and Carmella let Meadow off the hook way to easy.
This scene was why Janice tried to set Richie to whack Tony. She hated their "perfect" life. She envied Carmela's house and kids and Tony's success. After they embarrassed her like this, she wanted payback, like a psycho that she was. Kinda like Livia wanted Tony whacked over putting her into top of the line nursing home. I mean retirement community.
She just as high strung as Tony! Both psychotic, angry but their mother was a cruel person so both of them two have social issues & have no idea of LOVE!
It's worth noting that Tony had panic attacks dealing with his mom and the uncle Ben incident but Janice just brought out rage, even Carmella went off his time, and she's usually the patient one.
Isabel Beckerman The main reason was to sell the house and show it to investors so you cant have Janice waking up a noon when people are looking the place in the morning . The house was neat and ready for sale and no one was supposed to be there ...but ..Meadow got in there and Partied
Isabel Beckerman I agree with you and I just think Janice not being around and the house being nice and neat for buyers was the way to go but she never envisioned her Niece would betray her and destroy the house...but ..I will never understand the Writing of the scene where Carm & Tony are punishing Meadow and Janice doesn't think to ask questions about the place and want more details (is it fucked up with broken bottles..etc) instead she is telling Carm about not punishing her ..SMH
Anytime my husband and I would watch an episode that was Janice heavy we usually just stayed quiet that night. She was exhausting. She made us feel like we had argued all day or something. That's powerful writing/acting right there.
+femaleonthecreek Janice looks so hot in this scene. Oh god. Why can' t I meet a hot woman like that. I'd pick her over Meadow or Adriana. She speaks her mind and shes easy. Perfect
Richie, Ralphie, Janice, Jackie Jr., Meadow and Phil Leotardo the most distusting characters ever seen in the series even though they play very good and authentic.
At least you could excuse AJ and Meadow to an extent. After all a child will only grow to be whatever their parents taught them to be. But Janice? She was money grubbing hypocrite. I hated the way she weaseled herself into Bobby's life. Dude was so vulnerable after the passing of his wife and she took full on advantage.
"Set Janice straight"?? Gimme a break. Yeah, Janice was a hypocrite in light of that hippie bullshit she was spewing earlier in the episode. But still, she had a point: The girl pulls a major stunt like that, and all Tony and Carmela can think of is to take her credit card away for 3 weeks??? What kind of weak-ass punishment is that?!? And to tell Janice it was none of her business is a little ridiculous, when you consider that Meadow's misbehavior *affected her.* I think under the circumstances, she did have *some* right to speak on it.
I mean...Meadow did let all her dumb friends come over and pee and puke all over and destroy her grandmother's house. Three weeks no credit card probably wasn't a good enough punishment. I know we as a fan community hate Janice but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
"Mind your fucking business and keep your mouth shut when it comes to my kids, all right?" Damn, Carmela looked even more gangster than her husband at that very moment
Meanwhile in the scene before, Janice was telling them how Meadow needed to be treated as an adult and it was no big deal she threw a party in the house. She convinced them to go light on her, and only got angry when she realized the aftermath of the party would negatively effect her personally.

Frank Furlacker 😂😂😂😂😂
Was my favorite character in the series
Janice: "There's food all over the place!"
Tony: (throws his cereal on the floor)
All the Sopranos are the same, apparently….
We all rooted for Tony when it came to his sister.
As evil as Tony was, Janice was just infuriating.
This is why I fell sorry for their younger sister Barbara.
She was scamming the government outta disability checks, yet she has the nerve to talk about someone else. Glass houses
@@fatdaddyeddiejrat least tony had no issues with Barbra
Props to the actress playing Janice. She is such a hateable character
wtf was that insane music in the beginning xD

Tony Soprano lmfao .. that middle eastern shit janice was into ahhaha
Tarzan's greatest hits.
Animock up😂😂😂😂😂👌👌👌👌
It was mainly Carmela who set Janice straight.
The tragedy of this scene is that in the long run, Janice was right, as much I absolutely hate to say it. Not on terms of Meadow but A.J. And Janice being right is the wors thing to come true ever.
@Al Swedgen They did that more than once on this show.
@stirange She's no Quasimodo, I'll give you that.
@@thomasdemay9805 She was a hypocrite but she was still right. The point was as being a hypocrite she has no ground to stand on to criticize
People commonly mistake the first half of this clip for horrible music. It's actually Janice driving around the neighborhood bellowing her mating call to lure another poor bastard
"Sounds like your apartment in Venice."
i hate janice
same here, she is a leech
Harpo!

Sacre bleu where is me mama?
You're actin' like it's an opinion haha
Rage Blanket she’s just got a punchable face
"Oh three weeks without a credit card, oh marone!! Some heavy shit right there!" 😅
Legendary
They should’ve made Meadow clean the house though. And somebody should’ve made Tony clean the bowl of cereal he slapped off the table.
Johnathan Cineus, Meadow did lean the house at the end of the episode
@@joepakula3183 She leaned on the house, yeah.
the same kind of relaxing music I play when I need to unwind
Ahh Aida Turturro... you are an amazing actress. Oh how you made me hate your characters guts on so many occasions.
The only time I respected her was when she shot her abusive boyfriend.I can't recall his name.
@@wendylederer367 Richie Aprile
She just as high strung as Tony! Both psychotic, angry but their mother was a cruel person so both of them two have social issues & have no idea of LOVE!
I like how Janice doesnt back off. She isnt scared one bit
“Vishnu come lately” I love that line.
It's worth noting that Tony had panic attacks dealing with his mom and the uncle Ben incident but Janice just brought out rage, even Carmella went off his time, and she's usually the patient one.
Carmella has the dopest mom swag
Janice was right on this one but it was Tony's place not hers after all right? so if anybody is to be pissed it's Tony
and I never understood why Janice was not surprised ....tony told her the place got fucked up by teenagers ! lol
Well the punishment shoulda been for her to clean that place up. I think she ended up doing that on her own, Meadow ain't so bad.
Isabel Beckerman Wow....couldn't say it any better .....good post
That music at the beginning sounds like me this year when I received my first prostate exam. I wasn't sure if I hated it or wanted it to continue....

@@jakep1979 Big!!:(
Anytime my husband and I would watch an episode that was Janice heavy we usually just stayed quiet that night. She was exhausting. She made us feel like we had argued all day or something. That's powerful writing/acting right there.
Carmela is simply the most natural actress you could ever see Tony is simply a true mob
You gotta stop saying simply.
Janice is a disgusting, greedy cunt of a character. Meadow the same. I don't know who I hated more. Janice, Meadow or AJ.
***** lol that guy was hillarious
Meadow was a good person and actually seemed sweet sometimes
The music she listens to sounds like some Yoko Ono type of shit
The music in the car at the beginning. LMAO
Rest in peace earphone users
Meadow seriously deserve hard punishment for destroying her grandma's house
Its amazing that for someone who never shut up, apparently there were a ton of things Janice didn't say.
sounds like Tarzan stuck in the radio with hangover with the Janice driving him crazy
"I thought you didn't swear."
lol..and like the pic ....
When did Janice not swear?
She is a good actress I hated her character more then most on the show.
By far more than AJ or Meadow or Richie or Ralph.
Tony was going to the "Honeycomb hideout" those born before 1970 will get that reference.
LOL No doubt!
Love how its Carmela, not Tony the mob boss, who sets Janice straight 😆
0:54.......dont disturb tony while reading the cereal box 😆
"You're just here to pick the friggin bones.... Lotta balls."

mother of god, TheImpossibleMan! Are all you youtube commenters the same? Mind your fuckin' business!
there's a LOT I can say right now, that I'm *NOT* gonna say...

Lol at the comments. But wtf is a Vishnu come lately
“Vishnu come lately” 😂
I swear there are so much Sopranos shorts on yt you may rebuild entire episodes with some determination lol
“Well, maybe you’re gonna hear this: Sacre bleu, where is me mama!”
Note to self - never disturb a mob boss when he’s reading his cereal box
"vishnu come lately" cracks me up every time
'you come riding into town like some Vishnu come lately' is possibly my favourite line of the season
That cereal bowl just flew into the next dimension.
They should've did more with that cereal box. I really liked that character...
Tony fumbled the honeycombs....he never did have what it took to be a varsity cereal eater.
Never had the makings of a varsity athlete
Those honeycombs never had the makings of a varsity athlete
