- 💥 Shoulder instability 💥
Shoulder instability is frequently seen, particularly in athletes and sporting individuals. It is usually the symptom post dislocation where the capsule, ligaments and rotator are impacted.
Typical symptoms are the sensation of the shoulder feeling “loose” within the socket and experiencing apprehension when performing certain tasks.
Here are a few ideas for shoulder stability exercises.
Please do not perform these until you have consulted with your medical professional as these can be very challenging.

My shoulders would explode if i did these
Your shoulder won’t feel better if you do nothing about it, it’ll just get weaker and feel worse
Exactly! Anyone with legit shoulder instability knows almost everyone of these exercises would be way too painful, not to mention just undoable.
You're a genius.
Looking forward to giving this a try! What are those mini balls called in exercise 2 and are they weighted?
Hope you find it useful. I believe they are called medicine balls. They are weighted, and this one is less than a kilogram. You don't need a heavy one for these exercises.
I can do everything on it! After 2 months of an anterior dislocated shoulder!
And now at 5 months i can bench 300 lbs 😂 with no pain at all can do pull ups proper chin up with no SURGERY!
I hade surgery for both, one still dislocates for like the 200th time with no pain anymore🤣 im on rehab currently.
What all exercies did u to rehab sir?
Pls reply...I am in a closed room right now and literally gave up on things I love to do
Is this also for loose shoulders?
I don't think i ever dislocated my shoulder, but i should had hurt it probably 7-8 years ago while playing basketball.
But now i started working out again, i realize my right shoulder is kinda looser and having a slight pain, i could move the join back and forward (i could move forward more) as well.
Should i try this exercise as well?
If there's no pain and you feel comfortable try them. If you're unsure get guidance from a professional in person prior to doing these 👍🏻
Doc, are these exercises considered under Proprioception exercises?
Good question. 1 to 4 proprioceptive exercises, 5 and 6 plyometric strength.
Will this help for recurrent subluxation but never dislocation?
Possibly. However these are generic. If you're unsure what to do they id seek face to face advice to determine the correct level you are at.
How long to hold
Start minimal 5-10 seconds and build up as you can tolerate
What is the small ball weight ?
1 lbs, but even a lighter weight is ok. It's more about a quick muscle contraction
I find myself dislocating my shoulder in my sleep and/or when my arm goes overhead in at certain angle. I believe I have loose ligaments. Will these work for me or should I just consider surgery?

How long every exercise for the best result
and what of them are the most important exercise?
We recommend finding your baseline to what you find challenging enough and then gradually increase over the weeks. Do the routine typically 2-3 x per week.
All of them 💪🏻

Would I dislocate back my shoulders if I do these exercises?
These should help to stabilise your shoulder. However, if you have severe laxity, better consult with a professional first!
