Its ironic that that that the bench stone sharpener selled better than the guided sharpening system. Dude try a 3 micron diamond paste for the strop. It will change everything.

Just stay away from the work sharp. That thing is junk

Sorry you didn't like it. I've had pretty good luck with their stuff. They're not paying me or anything. Did you have one break on you? Curious if there are any common problems people should be aware of.

@@AnArmAndAGreg I wasn’t under the impression that they were paying you.
I purchased the ken onion work sharp. I quickly realized it has several flaws such as; it puts a convex edge on every knife you use it on, which isn’t always ideal. I have a Lionsteel SR1 which came with a convex edge from the factory, so it works well on that one.
The wheels that the knives run on wore out extremely quickly as well. Also the belts cost a fortune to replace. I prefer a Trend Diamond 400/1200 and a shapton 10000 grit ceramic for my sharpening needs now.

@Prosecute-fauci , I'll have to check out the trend. Had my eye on those stones for a while. They look fantastic, but expensive. Thanks again.

@@Prosecute-fauci I definitely prefer the manual sharpening over the powered sharpening methods.
