I saw Still Corners live in San Francisco in 2019. They didn't include this song in their set. When I spoke to the lead singer, I mentioned Sad Movies was my favorite song and that I was a bit sad it wasn't in the set. She signed my merch T-shirt with 'Sad Movies forever!!'. Anyway, I'd like to imagine I had some tiny influence that encouraged the band to include the song in their set, but I know it's probably coincidence.
