Same here. The last two vehicles I bought I used the Costco program, did 90% of everything on the phone, paid cash, and wasn't at the dealership each time more than 45 minutes, and the only reason I was there that long was I HAD to go and sit with the finance guy to sign twenty times that, NO, I don't want an extended warranty or scotch guard or protective coating or whatever. I'd NEVER go back and forth negotiating the price of anything, ever. Before I used Costco, I would go to a dealership, and I'd have a price in mind, I tell them what I'll spend (after doing research and seeing what others in my area paid for the exact same vehicle - and I'm all for the dealership making 2 or 2.5%), and I make sure I tell them even before I arrive - I don't negotiate. I will not go back and forth. I'll test drive a couple cars, and if I like one, I tell them to give me their best price. If I like it and I deem that it's fair, I buy it. If not, I thank them and leave. It's worked out both ways a few times. I always get a call back when I do leave, but I just end up going to another dealer. I'm not mean or pricky about it, I just figure that after telling them SEVERAL times that I do not go back and forth and please give me the best price out the door, OUT THE DOOR, and it's not good for me, why would I go back to them if they didn't do what I asked initially? The beauty for me is I NEVER NEED a car, so I'm never desperate. I just leave and go somewhere else or maybe not buy a new vehicle at all.
Steve loves presenting his pencil. He will service his pencil hard for his customer. His pencil ends up drained and flaccid when he’s done inserting his pencil directly in their backside during his presentation. He loves his pencil so hard.
I do all the negotiations over the phone before I ever get there. Just bought my daughter a new bronco, never met the salesman. I guess some people still wander in off the streets.
There is nothing professional about a guy who looks like he just rolled out of bed hungover, and couldn't even comb his hair.
Any informed buyer is running for the hills if a salesperson pulls these processes😊
No way in hell I'll ever spend 2 hours in a car dealership.

You sound as if you wished you were his pencil.
What are you, like twelve?
@ I think this is just how level 3 talks….
Absolutely can not stand this guy...he would sell me NOTHING!
My thoughts exactly, this dude is exactly the person I want to avoid when making a purchase

Do not buy a new car or a used car from a dealer in 2025.
Also, any certifications mean nothing! All lip service. Will Motor Trend buy the vehicle from the person if it is a piece of junk? Big Ole NO!
100%. All fluff. If you have a problem with it it will be treated NO differently than any other vehicle.
@@dyates6380 Exactly! Like the word "certified" on used cars, yup they are "certified" used all right!
But what if it's NOT the exact vehicle the customer wants?
Yeah but then the customer is an idiot wasting everyone's time trying to negotiate a deal over something they don't want
I’m here to help you.
What Steve refuses to discuss about the right vehicle is the price and needless add ons. 99% of issues come down to price. How about it Steve?
When Steve is talking, it is stupid.
