Thank you for the tutorial, i have installed 8 Gb Ram + 4 Gb Ram = 12 Gb but when i start the computer it shows me: "ERROR 210 CPU VARIABLE MTRR CONFIGURE FAILED", i press F1 to resume, and it starts normally and works fine, in system data it shows 12 Gb of ram installed, but when i turn it off, and start it again it shows the same ERROR 210. How can i fix this? Lenovo z470, intel core i5-2410m 2.30 Ghz windows 7 64bits profesional
I've read total ram installed exceeded the maximum ram, in the case of ideapad z470 is 8gb only. The memory will work but limited to the max amount supported by the motherboard or the ram doesn't work. To those installed more 8gb, is this true?
I have z470 series 1022. ( original 2gb + 4gb) Now i need more ram too, can u confirm tht it can run 16gb?? But in website it said the maximum ram capacity only 8gb. Pls respond
Ican confirm ....las week i upgraded mine to 16gb its the same model z470 With core i3...i saw this video a while ago some one said in the comments that it was possible and i did it.. and yes its working just fine...so now it has 16gb of ram and a 240gb ssd...give it a try budy it works
@@alfredocortes4255 yes its worked. Mine upgraded to 2x8gb ddr3 pc3-10600s 1333mhz, ssd and i7 gen 2 too. But shame for me my new audio interface couldnt work well with 2nd generation processor. So im not using this lptop alot now. But its very impressive laptop. Thx for ur info, appreciate it

I upgraded my Z470 to 16gb RAM and a i7 2630qm. The heatsink, even if small, do an amazing job. Such an impressive old machine.

Yup i managed to install, 12gb ram bro, 1 8gb and 1 4gb, combined with ssd
