I know that this is quite an old review now but I recently picked one of these up and wondered if you could recommend or suggest any good quality, fountain pen friendly, notebooks that would fit it. I can’t find the Ogami ones anywhere and am a resident in the U.K.
I think that their own notebooks are quite nice for fountain pens. Generally, you can throw any A6 notebooks in there. Rhodia, the Travelers notebook ones, and so on. Or you use my tutorial and just make your own: ruclips.net/video/95nqXhdlM-0/видео.html
Thank you for this video! I have looked through your videos for information on how to add a ribbon to your notebook. I watched the video on making your own notebook hoping it would be in that one. Thank you!
There is lots of videos on RUclips on how to do that. I also show it in some of my videos, but can not possibly remember right now in witch exact video this might be.
I do like that notebook very much, Michael - particularly in the 'Cognac' finish. I haven't (as yet) visited their website, but would you know if they offer that finish in an A5 format ? Not unlike you, I love leather when it is a little careworn - in effect, it becomes a part of you (figuratively speaking). A very good price, too - I shall definitely have to have a look at Paper Republic, before Christmas, & perhaps treat myself. As always, thank you !! :D
Andrew Tongue meanwhile, I do also like the ‚worn‘-look. There is also a larger version as far as I remember. Not A5, though. I think it is a little slimmer. Thank you again for a very nice comment!
Richard Barnes hi! I used a regular size TN all year for private notes (have a video about that on my channel as well) and will continue like that in 2020
Scrively, thanks. Whilst you’ve mentioned your regular TN, do you still regularly use the Grand Voyageur or the Passport TN at all? 🙂 I too am always writing in my regular TN. Currently my Blue one as that is my favourite colour. The Brown and Camel are ‘retired’ for now. Lol. Then I am using a Star Edition Passport TN as an EDC coat pocket carry. Awesome things. 👍🏻
Richard Barnes no I dont use any of those at in the past year or so. They just lay in a drawer for now. I own only one regular TN, which is my private planner (the weekly & notes), journal, and BuJo. For work I use various A5/B5 notebooks that are able to lay flat and remain open on my desk. My pocket carry is always just a simple A6 pocket notebook of whatever brand (Moleskine, Muji, Leuchtturm, Fieldnotes, whatever) - flat enough to fit into any pocket.
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination

Hey man, what’s the thickness of the leather?

Thanks for your review. How did you make bookmarks?
Just bought that band from a hobby store and tied it around the rubber elastic in the back of the cover

Hi 🙂 Now we’re into the end of 2019, which do you use most? This or the Midori Passport size TN?
