    They sang this to the drummer, Tamu, when she returned from maternity leave. Despite the relatively short time they've been together, they had already bonded and so the moment was an emotional one, especially with the lyric's reference to the unlimited potential of a child. They were still a young band and they had a lot going on - plus Covid. It was an uncertain time and feelings were running high.
    The backstage scene is Hazuki's birthday when she got cake. Japanese people seem to love any reason to include food in everything!
    Mayu often gets emotional when she sings and she has struggled to get through this on more than one occasion.
    So nice to see real people.

    This song is like their power ballad. The real strength of this song is the lyrics, so you might want to read the translation of the lyrics in order to understand and appreciate this song better. I personally love this song so much, cause of the personal story behind it.

    It's a ballad in a vein of "Nothing Else Matters", it's lyrics that make this song as much as music, shame you didn't turn on subtitles.

    This is pop hard rock, but TONs of hooks, type of song i can play on repeat... and knowing about drummer Tamu coming back after adding an infant, gets ya in the feelz.
    Pronounce this. Neigh Moe Feel Uhh. Neigh like a horse. Larry moe & curly. Feelz good. Uhhh, what's up doc. that gets the letters pronounced. the other hard part, is don't stress anything. harder than it sounds. not neMophila, it's ne-mo-fi-la. sound of letters wise, putting it in a spanish translator works; the vowels are always the same in both languages (no dipthongs or long vs short). But, spanish will give you stress on next-to-last, nemoFeela. That'd be ok. More in depth? they stress using Pitch, as in sing-songy, not "stress" as in louder or longer, & use even beat for sylables, basically one beat per vowel... (exceptions, but point is, don't lengthen one for stress.). Neigh Moe Feel Uh. you got this 🤘🎸💃😎

    Well the other reason why it won't get any airplay in this country is. Because in the last roughly four decades. The music and recording industry. Has been pumping out nothing but sewage to the masses. Once they figured out that the wrap crap could be sold. To the kids in the suburbs. That's when the music industry itself. Decided that they didn't care or want to cultivate an environment. To continue to grow the music that we grew up with. And I think that's a large part of it. They conditioned the American music listener and consumer. Into accepting mediocre talent that has been dumbed down. Relying on image for the most part above anything else. Whatever the flavor of the week or month or year is.

      Radio in the U.S. is awful and face down dead in the water. I haven't listened to the radio by choice or in any way in about 20 years. Our country is an auto-tuned hip-hop culture at the moment. But, in the world of streaming, there are more than enough options. No reason for anyone to listen to the radio.

      @@ProjectEllsworthReacts Till I came across the Japanese music scene. Which was about I don't know 4 and 1/2 years ago. I had been a follower of Japanese child prodigy drummer, Yoyoka. And I kept getting the song Thrill. Popping up on my feed here on RUclips. I blew it off like four or five times. Because I saw the costumes and thought that's a pop group who cares. Finally I decided to give them a listen. And I've been a fan of there's ever since. Nemophilia is my second favorite group. I'm not really a metalhead. But I appreciate so much what they do. I love the covers that they do more than most of their originals. I'm not into Mayu's primal screams. Because she has such great vocal ability outside of that. Great Hard Rock voice and able to sing soft and balladsl as well. But for the 15 years before that. I had been listening to jazz big band and swing music. Mostly off of iHeartRadio and a little bit here on RUclips. Been playing the bass guitar for over 35 years. No I am not a professional musician. I'm more of a casual player. You know life and earning a living got in the way of most of that. Anyway I always appreciate great magicianship. And being that the music scene in this country. When it comes to the stuff that you and I grew up with. Has basically bit the big one and sucked for decades. I gravitated towards jazz big band and swing music. Until I came across the Japanese music scene. That's been going on the last 10 years In Japan. Made accessible to us of course here in the States by RUclips. Take care stay safe and be well.

    For the record, Nemophila stuff isn't as copyright-triggering as bands like, for example, Babymetal. You're mostly safe with their stuff.

      That is definitely 100% not accurate. Every song that I have done by them has a copyrite claim attached to it. Not a strike, but a claim. In laman's terms, the video is not blocked and there is not penalty to my channel. However, I don't not make a penny on the video, they owner of the copyrite gets any and all procedes from the video. This is where the confusion on reaction channels comes in. I would say 99.5% of all videos reacted to get claims attached to them. Reaction channels don't get squat from doing this. This is precisely why people turn to Patreon once they gain a large audience. These videos take a lot of time to create and someone else gets the loot. It's extremely disheartening.

    I agree with you. I am not a pop fan either and among the earlier tracks I listened to them was DISSENSION and OIRAN, which are more to my style of music but when I listened to LIFE for the first time, I couldn't pinpoint to categorize this track but then I thought it is not neceesary and just take it all in as it is. The instrumental aspect of this song is very fulfilling with various elements arrangged with such precision to empower each other especially mayu's take on her vocal styles, which is not typical (to NEMOPHILA) as we all know her usual stunts. Combine all those with the emotional encouraging message behind the lyrics make this track sound 'majestic' if that make sense, and became my favourite track from NEMOPHILA - despite my style of music is like Max Cavalera's SEPULTURA & NAILBOMB 😅
    No hate here since you are who you are, unique just like everybody else, human 🤘🏻

    I REMEMBER WHEN YOU HEARD THE FIRST BAND MAID SONG YOU DID A REACTION TO. AND YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THAT WAS. (AND YOU NEVER GOT BACK ON HERE AND REFUTED IT). YOU SAID YOU WOULD NEVER GO OUT AND BUY ANYTHING THEY PUT OUT. AND HOW MANY BAND-MAID REACTIONS HAVE YOU DONE SINCE THAT STATEMENT ? TO EACH HIS OWN AND EVERYBODY HAS THEIR OWN TASTE. BUT DOES EVERY SONG HAVE TO SOUND LIKE BALLS TO THE WALL 100 MILES AN HOUR. AND A CROSS BETWEEN METALLICA AND MOTORHEAD ? JUST SAYING ! P.S. WHY ARE SO MANY METAL HEADS AFRAID OF OR AGAINST MELODY IN A SONG ?

    • @ProjectEllsworthReacts
      @ProjectEllsworthReacts  Год назад

      All of this is nonsense. Well, I have not bought anything from Band Maid to this day. I LOVE melody in a song and have no understanding of what you're referring to as I speak for no one other than myself. I actually rarely hear anything that sounds like Balls to the Wall. Where are you hearing this? You really should become more familiar with my content before casting such statements. You clearly don't know who I am at all. I did a ton of Band Maid songs in the beginning as it helped to grow this channel. I very quickly learned that a lot of the fans were not people I wanted to deal with, so I stopped reacting to them. Same thing with Baby Metal. I didn't stop reacting to them because of the music, I stopped because their fans are ridiculous. Writing in all caps is very off putting. That's get you deleted here. If I don't like something, why do YOU give a shit? It is impossible for me to care less what someone else likes or doesn't like. I don't need any validation to think how I think or feel how I feel. Why one earth would I go back and refute my own thoughts that haven't changed? I always stand by my own thoughts and feelings. Nothing to refute. Honest people have no reason to cover their tracks or refute themselves.

    I guarantee this is the correct pronunciation of the group. I heard it directly from Mayu -- it is "knee moe fee la". At least that is how she says it in Japanese.

    • @ProjectEllsworthReacts
      @ProjectEllsworthReacts  Год назад +1

      That is precisely how I pronounced it the first time I said it in a video. I was then battered over the head about how wrong I was. The people in our society are awesome.

    • @OvDevilz
      @OvDevilz Год назад +1

      Close but not accurate... because Romaji is precise in phonetic sound and I will try to explain this in the easiest way possible... the phonetic sound of E and I. So the NE and PHI in NEMOPHILA as pointed out shouldn't sound the same (EE), because the former use E, not I. If you pronounced it like that and ask Japanese to write the Romaji, they will spell it out like this - NiMOPHiLA - so surely now you can guess the accurate pronunciation right?
      For NEMOPHILA, you got it all correct except for the E. Correct for the I sound is EE... but for E sound it is supposed to be EH (or AY as in YAY or NAY) ...so NEMOPHILA correct pronunciation is NAY - MO - FEE - LA.
      Edit: Watch OIRAN Live NAONYAON 2021 and Keiko Terada announcing the band name with very emphasize and precise phonetic ... NAYMOFEELA

    • @donborsick
      @donborsick Год назад

      And the pronunciation debate continues. For those interested search RUclips for Rock Fujiyama with Marty Friedman's interview of Nemophila--part 1. It sounds to me that Mayu says nee-mo-fee-la. Maybe I'm wrong and all this heavy metal music has ruined my hearing.
