Could you melt the candle and pour it over the stuffing at the bottom of the box and let it soak to make some super tinder?

I have that bag, I use it for my snorkeling bag. It also holds my GoPro stuff in it. It is fairly rugged as well, I hang my flippers off the bottom side clip/molle areas. It works very well for that.
I got the same gear for $12.95, would never pay almost $90 for a box of cheap crab 🦀 gear from china.
Should have paid for better education.

you put those D rings on backwards . if you look , it has a slot in the side with the lock release , the molle web is supposed to go in the slot .

One of the best fire started I’ve used is a straight up bday candle cuz you don’t have to waist your lighter fluid so you justvlight the candle real quickly then let the candle do the hard work

I liked your video. I like that you weren't overly joyful about prices. They seemed to have a bit of excessive gear. Wished it was more coverage. Nothing about first Aid, or water, instead of the SOG key chain. And stick with the solar light instead of two. Not sure if I would join this one, but will check out the follow up box.
So after shipping you get maybe a 20 dollar savings? That is negated by the fact that you don't get to pick your items. You can spend 100 dollars and just get better quality items that you are in need of.
My grandfather has that same bag. Actually two of them, EDC/get home bag and one for bugout. I personally like the smaller sized bugout bags cuz in a situation were you gotta move quickly you don't wanna be lugging around a 30-40lbs and trying to run. My husband and I have differentiating opinions on that though.
I have a solar lantern from Survival Frog, it also can be used to emergency charge a cell phone.

Depends on the quality of that rucksack. It's the basic assault pack that plenty of manufacturers make and sell but the durability can change significantly between the different brands.

Good God that bag is big enough for an ammo bag and that's it. The only two things I take out of this is the sog knife and a solar flashlight.

You put the D-Rings on wrong. Also, I CAN argue with an SOG knife. Both my EDC knives are Kershaw, and a backup CRKT. You're peddling junk to people who dont know any better.
It looks like the chippings could be used to start fires so that is an extra there

Hello, Just curious how many survival boxes are you subscribed to and which one do you enjoy receiving the most?
Also, I would like to tell you a little tip. I have bought many blades and knives from Sog, and looking at the blade at first I didn't realize this but after further inspection, it does not have a very good edge, due to mass production. They are nice blades and work well out of the box, but for the knife to work as well as it really can, you should steel the blade. This is only some of the blades, though, like on their sogfari and satellite.
1 year later and over 200k views... and people still viewing, commenting on and liking this video. I don't why this box review is so much more popular that all my many many others... but I appreciate the support. Thanks a ton everyone!

Its youtube metrics. Page hits and likes and subs and comments and comments on comments all add up and then your video gets bumped up the "list" of videos for the various tagged catagories for shared by your video and what ever video that viewer is currently on. Thats how you end up on right side list.

If you ever get the chance look on wish mobile app. Or geek..That Cree Q5 LED flashlight I got the very same thing on wish for $2. That's including shipping. sometimes they give them away for free if you just pay the shipping of about a dollar or 2. Great little flashlights..

I would be pissed off if I paid 90 bucs & got that box of junk. $5.49 Cree LED is nowhere near 2000 lumens, more like 180 lumens if that. Build quality wise, it's not something I could rely on in a survival scenario. Bag looks like a pack for a small child. The only things in this box of interest to me are... SOG MACV tool, and the Goal Zero solar flashlight.
Shawn Murray You can likely get the same gear at a gun show for around $50. If I paid close to $100 for that I'd shit in the box and send it back.

I'm not sure if the card had a typo but that Cree flashlight isn't 2000 lumen. they are only 300. I have 2 of the exact same ones. and I'm not saying anything bad about them. I love mine. that's why I bought two. just wanted to clear some things up. and I know I know "this video is old."
