You're not 20 anymore? I'm 47 and will never sell my MiTo. I'll enjoy it until it falls apart (It's 6 years old and 170K KM already). There is no car like this at its price range. Fully ballanced on utilitarian/sporty. Easy on the daily basis and the city, practical daily and funny on weekends. Low gas consumption, elegant, beauty, small (can park everywhere), confortable enough (front seats are very good), mildly sportive, powerfull, reliable (no big problems so far), excellent dinamic behaviour, full of electronic driving helps (block differential, and a long etc). I love it.
Thank you so much for such detailed reviews and making the effort to do them in English. Your occasional linguistic frustrations are charming, so don't feel self-conscious - it adds character, much like an Alfa Romeo :)
Probably the most comprehensive review of the MITO ever ..Thoroughly enjoyed it and owning a MITO myself it was accurate apart from 1 or 2 things ..With me being 5 foot 10 inches ,I am smaller than you so for me space is fine lol..The badge is called a Cloverleaf ..I think someone gave it to a racing driver as a sign of good luck and he won..You need to roadtest the 2 cylinder ,it is a fun car to drive ,yes it isn't as powerful ,but it puts a smile on your face ..In the UK they did a QVline model ,2cylinder ,6 speed manual box, 17 inch wheels and the QV interior that you roadtested ..With uk speed limits being 70 mph 112 kph it is probably more suitable to uk motorways than the autobahn where certain sections are fast lol .I have also found mainland European journalist more acceptable of alfas fiats etc than uk journalists who constantly run them down...Unreliability being the main issue ...Having owned Italian cars for over 20 years I have never had any issues ,and recalls are rare unlike other brands ..Uk journalists criticise the steering and suspension ,Europeans like it The interior plastics are cheap and nasty ,but tht is the Fiat influence ,after all the chassis is the Grande Punto ,also used by Chrysler on the Ypsilon and by Opel on the Corsa...The Uconnect I find is thoroughly acceptable ,if I want the radio I have it ,if I want a CD it still has the function absolutely love it still having the CD function .The only issue I have is after owning a Grande Punto with the blue and me where phone calls where made with the steering wheel controls ,the u connect is not as safe as you have to use the touch screen..Though I prefer how Alfa integrate it rather than what looks like an Ipad stuck on the dash ...Maybe that is me showing my age lolI have ever had any issues with the arm rest being noisy ,though I do find it does impede the arm rest ..In the uk both front seats get the lumbar support and height adjustment No doubt I will have more to say when I watch you report again..I agree with 99% of what you say ...I will end by saying the last time I was in Bielefeld (apologise for my spelling ) I got a parking ticket at MacDonalds ...Maybe I should have used that carpark with the huge pink Parking sign lol
@@dirkleroy1828 No, it's not. 'Quadrifoglio Verde' means 'Green Four Leaf Clover', not the common three leaved 'cloverleaf'. Finding a rare four leaf clover is considered a sign of good luck. The symbol of a green four leaf clover on a white background was originally used on pre-war Alfa race cars to bring them luck on the race course.
Very comprehensive review, gentleman spoke very good English Better than my German. Lovely car I own the mito distinctive 140 Bhp.had my remapped at 175 l love these cars.
Put the dna switch onto all weather, then the speed comes up on the dash, put it in dynamic cycle the display and go get a boost gauge. Also no mention of the auto dimming rear view mirror, auto window wipers and auto headlights, no mention of the hill hold, maybe you didn't notice it if you didn't pull away on a hill.
This car is just...I don't know what to say... Can a city vehicle be better designed than this?... I'm seriously considering to buy this car, since I'm looking for something to purchase from this January. I have owned four Alfa Romeos in the past and I was never dissapointed. The only thing I don't like is only 3 door version. Everything else is like a dream, a turbo-benzina engine, the sporty interior... those led lights and retro chrome rings.. OMG
Nice review, made me laugh and was certainly thorough! Seems like these will be a good used buy in the 2020s. I like how Alfa clearly haven't bothered much with all the 'cutting edge' nonsense. Maybe a good one for a second car for the parent that still likes a blast in a fun car.
Hello I am a new driver and I think about what car to get and I have in my mind the alfa romeo mito 1.3 diesel 95HP it cost 14.950 euros in my country i love this car is beutiful but i listen is not good at all and it have very poor ratings at the review ist reliable what do you think is worth it ?. please opinions help me sorry for my bad english.
Duel clutch is great, just need to Adapt to the change, left foot braking in town to tell computer your intentions, or manual mode does it, it's a great Sydney city all round gearbox, love it.
Thinking about getting a Mito 0.9 litre engine at 17, insurance is good and I really like the look of the car, plus how unique it is. Any tips or advice for me?
I have a 1.4 multi air mito now from new, replaced the 0.9 fiat 500, it was great fun car as well,Like a mouse and cats trying to catch it , people hating you get past them and some even risk committing suicide to stay in front or get back in front, you need good all round high performance tyres on it though ,
I have a 135bhp 1.4 turbo mito put it in dynamic , I have had it I to 125mph before backing off, it wanted more, also I didn't need miles of road, its quick having driven fast cars before.
Thx for this review! It's great! I have one question for you...how is the autogearbox at low speed? Cause I have heard it's not that good. Thx. Best regards, Thijs.
The best looking Mito I have ever seen. Still, does not really work for me :( I am an Alfa 145 guy. Make one like that, please! I am old and I want time-travel back when I regularly drove mine at around 200 Km/H.
Did he say cheap plastic? No, plastic parts are expensive. Try replacing a plastic part. Your wallet will get thin fast. They are also durable and very easy to clean compared to rubber or cloth.
Such a beautiful car, but too slow, if you compare with a Clio sport, even with the ph2, that’s almos 20 years old is still way faster than the mito with his 182hp

The badge is Quadrifoglio verde.
@@tecnogadget2 Cloverleaf is the correct translation of Quadrifoglio Verde

Brilliant work well done
well done keep up the good work
The 2 cylinders engine you mentioned is the Fiat 0.9L Twin Air 105hp also equipping other Fiats.
The new Alfa lineup dont use Fiat engines anymore.
Thank you.
Where is the control where to direct internal air?

i have the 105hp manual, have you driven the automatic? because i'm considering the qv as a next car...

Very fun that “GVADRIFVOGLIO VERDE”, subscribed
'Even Alfa'...why do you hate these cars so much...?

Why the color on the bumpers and the color on the body is different?
good job
Very curious your opinion regarding MiTo/Giulia/gulietta or maybe ford focus st?
Clio sport!
Is this front wheel drive and what's the top speed for uk in mph
I have a 135bhp 1.4 turbo mito put it in dynamic , I have had it I to 125mph before backing off, it wanted more, also I didn't need miles of road, its quick having driven fast cars before.
Top speed is 137mph on the 170bhp proper mito
HAD ONE NOW FOR SIX YEARS, AND, SO FAR NO PROBS. I DO DRIVE IT SENSIBLY , NO WHEEL SPINS ETC.
Thx for this review! It's great!
I have one question for you...how is the autogearbox at low speed? Cause I have heard it's not that good.
Thx.
Best regards, Thijs.
DNA switch should be on the steering wheel IMO
how high are you I'm a bit worry will it be too small for me I am 193 cm

It is better to speak German and add subtitles in English, for us the foreign fiends of your channel.
Agree, the accent just hurts.
Disagree. I think it's a really good attempt.
Katastrofa novinar
Доста је бољи од многих новинара који узимају и MiTo и мито.
Prvo, čovek nije novinar i zaista se fino potrudio i na jedan krajnje simpatičan način predstavio MiTo.
