Never had an issue out of my Bear creek arsenal 458 socom at all other than it did not like SBR ammo but underwood and buffalo ammo no issue.

i mean yeah you paid as little as possible for the worst upper possible for that caliber. Tromix ftw. Never had an issue with any cartridge manufacturer

Has a BCA 458 sc for a while… grove the mag at the front… it works with flat tipped ammo.

I did it on the recommendation of Black Butterfly Ammo. It helps but this upper is just not it. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Go to springco and get the correct buffer spring and you will not have that problem anymore.

Feeding and failure to extract sometimes. Polishing the feed ramp has helped a lot but there's a reason it's the cheapest available.

Imo, 5.56. Triple the ammo capacity andless recoil. 458 socom is hella fun though

You never seemed to explain what isn’t working. Many mentions of it being cheap but it doesn’t seem like you are understanding why your malfunctions are happening. It’s okay to blame it on it being cheap but you should probably back it up with some info on how it’s cheapness affects its reliability.

I don't get into specifics because I can't really explain the fixes. That risks violating youtube's rules and I don't really want to give out "advice" on modiying guns. This upper has issues with jamming the nose of the bullet into the top of the breach and then having the bolt try to close on the casing. There are things you can do to fix this that are searchable. I'll say that polishing the feed ramp helped a bunch.

I watch alot of videos where just about everyone watching the rounds go in chamber does anyone else thank that's a bad habit know your gun sound to no when it loads and how it feels and sounds when it empty its self just saying bad habits hard to brake...

Always good to know your firearms inside and out. I always check the 458 socom because the bolt hangs up so much. Really frustrating but it is a cheap upper and sometimes you get what you pay for.

Did you change the 3 ounce buffer for a 5 ounce buffer if not get educated then complain
