I feel like the half pivot to summoning did you in. If you kept the monkey your Rhino could've easily gotten at the very least +15/+15 and that survivability would've been fantastic for the snake behind it to get atleast a couple shots off. Combine that with pilling the level 2 turtle and you could've squeezed atleast another snake passive out. Then your fourth slot could've been swan and a flex slot like a second monkey or a tiger behind the snake
Yeah, it seemed he was basically married to the summoning archetype. I think it’s kind of just a beginner’s type. He’ll hopefully branch out into builds that aren’t so dependent upon summoning.

Imo selling a level 3 swan is almost always a losing play. You give up 1 item/pet or 3 rerolls every turn to get one this turn... maybe, maybe if you're 1 loss from death and you're looking to pickup a melon armor or high value unit. Also, focus on equipment is important. A 16/16 can kill 2 units maybe mid game. A 16/16 with garlic can sweep a summoning build by itself. Melon armor wins games, meat turns a terrible unit into a 1 for 1 trade. I'll often roll a scaling unit with meat out in front of my stacked unit so then I can weaken them to a onehit. Thereby alowing my strong unit to go 2+ for one instead of trading evenly late game. Really it impresses me how much tactical depth there is in this game but it's still really accessible and rng based so you can't just build the optimal strat each time it's sort of like a roguelike where there's always some weird situation you've never been in.
Thankfully, I'm already addicted to this game. I can safely watch this!

I was kinda addicted, but after winning 1/3 match I play I kinda stop playing
The core mechanic of this game is trying to make the most obscene name you can, but the rest of the game is a nice addition, too!
So glad you’re playing super auto pets. I recently got horribly addicted to this game myself. My favorite build so far has been what I call “the nuke build” using the various pets that deal massive damage when they faint. I try to kill everything on the board and then my big damage dealers have honey on them so I’m the only one left with anything on the field
I am also a big fan of skunk builds. Great for late game, hard to set up. But if you can get the tiger, parrot, skunk triplet, all at least level 2, you can crush pretty much any big tank builds. I like to also have a mushroom deer or a rhino in there to take care of summoner builds
I like the food build just cuz it's fun lol. I always want to try to get the bunny, cat, cow, worm to work. If you have tiger even better but it's a solo operation and expensive.
My favorite part of watching videos of this game is, "Oh, I don't want that dragon. But a deer is great. It summons a BUS."

I'll use this tip next time.
@@takumi2023 Yeah, turtle + pill is an extremely strong combo early on. Especially with melon armour negating scorpion's poison.
Why are you sleeping on the monkey? Monkey level 2 gives +6+6 each turn. Your rhino would have been crazy with that plus the firepepper for splash attack

I was very sad he didn't put that on the turkey as well. Turkey is a perfect candidate for it, because you don't care how strong it is.
Unfreezing the monkey for the turkey hurt my soul 😂. It’s hard to watch RCE play this one since I’ve seen such high level SAP play already.

The thing is, you need to bring the rhino in as a second in line, so that the first pet in the other line is weak, then the damage train is started
It wasn't big enough to survive the hit anyways. If he hit it with melon armor then it would have been quite good though. Weak unit with meat is great value in front of your good unit.
RCE, if you pill a turtle (pills only costs one, btw) it permanently gives the melon shield to the pet behind it. 🐢 🍈 💥 🐟

Use the Pill on the turtle and you get permanent Melon Armor on your guys. That would have been REALLY powerful on the Rhino.
RCE dude the turtle is amazing at start with the melon armor put him in front of your strongest unit and you might get an extra turn with it before it dies.
The kangaroo and camel are also a great end game strategy with the Dodo for the damage boost

Winning all ten rounds was much harder (for me anyways) than all the dark souls games put together.

@@takumi2023 it’s stupidly difficult, but I got lucky and got a hippo, bunny and a monkey early on and just buffed it with everything, also don’t let any cows go they’re milk is op. Also summon builds don’t work very well later on as there are too many animals that can use their abilities on attack or knockout.
It was harder back then when there were no hearts and and it's game over if you lose any 4 battles at any turn.

Ohh, "melon armor". I really heard "melanoma" the entire time xD
The melon armor IS OP as hell, you can waste 1 space ofc, but you will find a fainting pill, even it died/fainted in battle, the animal behind it gets melon armor, and that blocks 20 dmg, once in battle, Note: It wont be gone after battle if its an animal whom got that melon armor, alternitively you can find a melon armor somewhere in the shop, but theres alot of stuff in the shop too
Ok, now I'm FULLY convinced that Matt and Dangerously Funny watch each other and feed each other ideas. And no, you can't convince me otherwise!
Some probably already told you this, but if you feed a Turtle the pill the Turtle will give whatever's behind it Melon Armor forever, so you technically wasted 2 Melon Armors by selling it
I wish this game would be more clear about its rules, stuff like this is hard to just "get" by playing sometimes

This is essentially Hearthstone Battlegrounds which is pretty cool cause this is much simpler while Battlegrounds has gotten progressively more complicated over time!

You got me addicted to this games, thanks! So far the best I've done is six wins... some of the matches are so overpowered thought that at times it feels a little unfair. Also, I have 1 sticker so far.
Hearthstone’s battlegrounds game mode is a more in depth version of this and it’s hella fun too

The strongest build is worm in front, monkey in back, rabit and giraffe and you feed the worm till he is 50 50 health damage and can wipe out an entire team himself.

You should play the public servers Matt. It's all about the long game. Peacock/Elephant/Rhino/Shark builds are OP!
Start off with the horse, so any other pets you buy automatically get buffed by the horse. (purchase counts a summon)
Only until the end of the turn anyway, I never buy the horse anymore because of that

I keep seeing other players with insane damage at the end and have yet to see ANY youtuber get those numbers and I honestly can't understand how players get those numbers.
I have 50+ wins. He was going a rhino build and pivoted into a summoning build. He should have kept the monkeys. He could have gotten 6/6 each turn on the rhino each turn. I normally get the first unit to 50/50 melon armor, then get a scorpion to 21/21 after. A scorpion can kill through melon armor because it only blocks 20 damage.
Always focus on scaling a single unit.

If you feint the turtle before starting a battle it will give the melon armor to the friend behind permanently while losing the turtle in the process. easy way to get early melon armor. also the pill to feint a friend is 1 coin.
Give the turtle the faint pill and it gives the animal behind permeant melon armor for the future matches instead of waiting late game to buy it.
