You really don't ever know how a round will go! The rng makes that so. Even if you have a build against itself, you aren't guaranteed a tie. Simplest example: Beaver (2,2), Fish (2,3), Ant (2,1) for both Team 1 and Team 2. The ants kill each other, but Team 1 Ant gives the Beaver +(2,1) while Team 2 Ant gives Fish +(2,1), resulting in [Beaver (4,3), Fish (2,3)] vs [Beaver (2,2), Fish(4,4)] which leads to the Fish knocking eachother out after 2 hits, and then Team 1 winning with a Beaver (4,1) left over!

While this is true, your math is wrong
A 4,4 fish will knock out 2,3 fish leaving 4,1 which will trade with the beaver next.
Team 2 will win with their beaver untouched.

@@literalmentepimpo Yeah. First, both ant trade off like the original comment said. Second, they said the fish knock each other out but that wasn't the case since Team 1 has 2,3 while team 2 has 4,4. It'll resulting in Team 2 fish to knockout Team 1 fish while retaining 2 health. Last, the Team 1 Beaver (4,3) knock each other out with Team 2 Fish (4,1). Team 2 still has a beaver while team 1 doesn't have anymore animal. I followed the order like the original comment.
need to try using the garlic and chilies more. Have beat alot of summon builds withe tanks using the giraffe and seal to get them up to 50 base and blow through them. As well as deer with mushroom and turkey.
I feel like tank builds are just objectively best in the game. there's only so much one can do against a team that's accumulating permanent stat boosts every food/end of turn to the point of 40+ attack and health. It's the build I most consistently get 10 wins with, and it's the build that I fight against and lose to 100% of the time I don't get to 10 wins
You need to start feeding sleeping pills to your ants and spiders. Rather than selling the ant, with a sleeping pill, they'll permanently give their buff to another pet. With the spiders, you sell them to permanently get a tier 3 pet. If you get insanely lucky on the third turn and get 3 spiders and a sleeping pill on the pull, you can get a level 2 tier 3 pet straight away.

@@thomasphillips885 Elephant hurts creature behind, When camel is hurt, gives stats to the creature behind it. So you put the elephant out front, put the camel behind the elephant and buff the 3rd pet

Fly is a straight upgrade on those Sheep, especially if you used the Canned Food.
I love your vids on that game. By far the most enjoyable videos if seen of this game. I enjoy them even more than playing the game myself, dunno why,... there aren't even dams. bridges or knobs. but somehow it's still up your alley^^

2nd game, round 11, @22:45, I'm curious as to why you didn't grab the tiger cub to put behind the turkey so that the turkey would give +9/+9 to all summoned. Plus 2 chocolates to the tiger and summoned gets +12/+12

The horses make all summoned animals stronger! So put honey on an animal that is in front of the horses. Basically, keep your horses in the back to get some buff bees.
The horse scales incredibly poorly, and the buff is minimal. It’s better to have strong things summoned from the start like busses or spider summons, or get a turkey. It’s just not worth the extra money for a horse. And honey armour is very situational, an apple is usually better bc then you can put garlic armour or something on. The only times to use honey are on the last thing in your lineup (if you really need to), on something like a badger, or if u wanna get a rly good bee
@@carrott36 I'm talking early game. Turkey is basically an OP horse, so it's valid for it as well. Building an alternating summoning/buff build with a turkey in the last position is usually a great strategy. Like a turkey w/honey, dog w/honey, sheep w/honey, ox, deer w/ garlic ~mwah, chefs kiss

12:45 you really should have leveled the Parrot, it's your most versatile unit and therefore unlikely to leave the team
Drae seems to love this game and you'd probably be able to get him super easily
Extra life on badger is also quite spicy. Instead of a bee it resummons the badger and if that somehow gets taken out it procs which at that stage has a decent chance to get you a draw where the bee would've been a loss.
It spawns as a 1/1 though
@@matheusohara9050 but a 1/1 badger still does more than a 1/1 bee. In general a 1-up is an upgrade over honey - that's why the 1-up is a later tier item
@@michaelzoller5303 I agree, but there's usually other animals that would benefit from a 1 up on our squads before the badger, and the fact that it can do at max 3 damage feels so insignificant on the late game. When it works though, pure satisfaction
Only thing that could make this game better is a practice option where you can create a team to see how it works. Of course that may create people with too OP teams

Skunk + mushroom sounds very OP. That's 2 enemies annihilated from the start.
Doesn’t work like that, skunks effect works before round, while mushroom works during-it won’t work

Mosquitos are so strong as they remove melon armour so it’s worth buffing them and keeping them.
Ants are one of the best early game and otters are also good early.

My favorite lineup (when i get it) is deer, parrot behind the deer, and turkey. If you manage to get them all to level 3, and put mushroom on the deer you can get something like 3 24-24 buses? Actually insane.
Wouldn't the same with a level 3 whale instead of a parrot actually be better from the whale stats?

Matt if you're gonna run a summoning build, there's a few things you should keep in mind.
Whale + Deer is insane
Turkey is one of the best f2p units in general and is the best summon unit.
Tiger + Turkey will make your opponents curse you
Fly is good, but has limits
Sheep is underrated
Rooster will f*ck you up.
These are the units that you generally look for. Horses and crickets are fine for the early rounds, but you need to upgrade from them soon. Spiders are actually really good, but they rely too much on chance.
Focus on chaining effects together.
Tiger + Turkey + Sheep(1up) + X + X is insane. Even if all units are lvl 1, you'll get 3 Sheep on death which will be 8/8, 8/8, & 7/7 that summons 2 more Sheep. That's 1 unit dying, creating 5 units with around 50 power into play
I curse you, RCE. I curse you and myself. You warned me about the addicting properties of this game, and I, in my hubris, thought myself above such concerns. But here I am, a mere three episodes into this playlist, and I'm already so addicted I downloaded the game.

Don't swap to one. Summon builds are really strong in early game as long as you don't lose your horses to a mosquito.
The good counters to summon builds come later with things like hippos and camels.
The turkey was great, the parrot just needed to copy one of the first 2 instead of it

Ok on the second game you had a chance to put a tiger behind the turkey. please drop that badger and put the tiger in the back. If you run into a team with a leveled up alligator it would kill the badger and your turkey. Tiger however buffs the whole team.

Fun fact: Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird of the USA. He called the bald eagle lazy by comparison since people don't eat eagles and turkeys are smarter.

just some friendly advice a 10/10 deer deals 10 to the first unit and 5 to the other so unless it got 2 hits it wouldnt have gotten rid of the steak
I'm not sure giving the sleeping pill to the level 2 ant is better than selling it. You're basically spending 5 gold to upgrade a random creature by +4/+2. That's kinda expensive considering you don't get to pick the target.
EDIT: I'm dumb. I forgot the sleeping pill only costs 1. +4/+2 to a random thing for 3 gold is definitely worth it.

I've found using the whale behind the deer can be very strong for summoning builds
If you are going to play with other youtubers, I highly suggest Dangerously Funny, because he has made quite a few videos from runs of this game
