Lovingg these vlogs Benji ❤ on side note another reason to shock boiled eggs in cold water is to stop the iron from the egg from becoming unavailable to us as if we dont do this step iron binds and forms an iron sulphur layer which is visible like a grey line between egg yolk and white part in full boiled eggs

We like to add benito flakes and some Kombu (not sure what the package says) seaweed. I'll have to try the cabbage. One of our favorite summer garden spots is our cabbage patch. It grows so well here and wonder if it would do well on the westside. It makes the best kimchi and sauerkraut. We love to cook as well. My hubby makes a pickle beer that's a kombucha and lager blend. We use the dill and cucumber from our tiny garden.

I usually cook my veggie, mushroom, broccoli and cabbage with umami from TJ then add the water and seasoning, the noodles are always last. I then add mayo for creaminess and scallions at the end. No egg since I’m vegan. Oh and seaweed on the side .
I prefer the noodles to cook with the broth to give it flavor but I suppose this is the authentic way.
    Thank you for sharing.

Hey Benji, you’re pretty well versed on worldly issues so i’m just not sure why you or Judy haven’t expressed any concern or highlighted what’s going on in Palestine. I’ve seen Judy also post about purchasing starbucks products while a boycott is taking place due to their support and funding. It’s not too late to look up what occurred in 1947 while thousands of Palestinians were wrongfully displaced from their homes. It’s happening again 75 years later and the world is standing by watching silently. it’s heartbreaking
