I'm interested to know why they don't use hi-lift jacks, airbag jacks, or recovery tracks on some of these jobs - to lift or roll them up off of whatever they're snagged on - during or before winching them back onto the road.

Oh! My! Goodness!! When you all say Everything Auto, you mean EVERYTHING!! The Yukon! God was definitely keeping them as safe as possible. Missing the cabin, bear trash cans, stairs and the fire pit! Great work winching it back out the same path!
There are a few ways you could have gotten that truck off the curb, but as long as you get them out with no damage, they all work. And yes, the couple in the SUV were so very lucky.

Sucks that the airbags did not get triggered in the Yukon. That definitely had to be a scary ride off-road they took. You two do an excellent job getting vehicles out of some crazy locations.
There are 3 airbag sensors in the front of the Yukon. They are located Left, center and right, 2 of the 3 sensors have to be activated to deploy the airbags, from the looks of the damage only the right one would have been activated. The other reason is the Yukon has been in a prior wreck was totaled and some hack shop rebuilt it without replacing the airbags.
As much time as Jeff spends sliding around on the pavement or gravel hooking up the vehicles, he must wear out a pair of jeans very quickly! 😢 The cost of them should be a tax deduction every year. LOL. Love watching your channel and am so impressed by your ability to seamlessly work together.

Jeff, due you brake with your left foot ? Learned to do that after driving a stick shift for yours then having an auto trans, the left foot just ede something to do. Comes in handy when you trying to creep slowly
When u think things can’t get crazier, just watch everything auto you definitely won’t be disappointed lol 😂. I do believe that that driver had another set of hands watching out for him. Had a buddy's truck hit the shock bolts in a similar incident. They got him towed out just fine, we were driving to work and one of the bottom bolts snapped as he started from a light. Scary moment but he was quick thinking and let off the gas before he went veering into the surrounding cars. Check the bolts when you have any incidents!
That pullout you guys did could have been a mess. Not just the deck or or porch he could have ripped off there was that charging port for electric vehicles!. I could imagine the stress people go thru on their way to work wondering if they will have a parking spot. That would be an issue when applying for a job. Do you have proper parking for employees would be a question I would have for them during an interview.

Well, that was quite a variety! Wonder why the GMC couldn't get stopped before miraculously passing by the front of the cabin? Jeff mentioned the driver stated brakes went out but it looked like they were operable when Jeff was maneuvering the SUV back through its path. Glad folks weren't hurt real bad. Great job Kristen and Jeff, "we appreciate ya!"

The Yukon's airbags did not deploy because the car had been wrecked before and the airbags were not fully replaced. One sensor or control circuit can cause a system failure. The warning lights can be disabled with a "special/exotic" control board. Cutting sensor wires will not do it. (My family owns an auto salvage yard...)

Brakes never just go out, the front and rear wheels are on different separate lines for redundancy.
So I guess the brakes fixed themselves while the vehicle was sitting in the yard.
