Great idea!!🎉However, speaking from experience selling other products out of a similar trailer, someone inevitably (accidentally) steps off the high side of the ramp. I highly recommend putting a removable rail on each side of the ramp. An added benefit is that it will help with traffic flow as well.
As someone else mentioned hand rails need to be added. Also need texture on ramp and steps, a roll out canopy over ramp and steps unless you will always be under sheds, and a table, chairs and lockable cash box bolted to the table in your bagging area. On a side note, we moved 850 miles from S.C. to LA a few years ago. We moved 2 full chest freezers a 18 hour trip without operating or thawing in a uhaul box truck. We unloaded the freezers into milk crates, loaded freezers onto the back end of the trailer, loaded the full milk crates into the freezers, turned the thermostats allthe way down and plugged them up over night. Next morning loaded cots and overnight bags into truck, hooked up trailer and loaded on car, and left in time to get through downtown Atlanta around 1:45pm. I got to my destination about 6:30 am. Checked the freezers, still frozen, plugged them up and took a nap before unloading. Moral of the story is well frozen freezers will stay colder, longer than most floks think. Customers opening them will reduce hold time
It's terrific how forward-thinking you and Sondra are in constantly upgrading both your farm and your market ideas. Farm pictures or a video is a good addition as the inside needs some color and personality. Add a rail for your steps for safety and maybe some grip tape on the steps for when it's rainy. You two are knocking it out of the park! God bless.
Just the speed and ease of set-up will be significant. The product though is what customer is there for. This is just another step up in production. God Bless your hard earned work.
Great idea for the new setup! I hope the launch was successful and hopefully it works without a hitch. BTW I’ve dealt with Freedom Ranger Hatchery for 5 or so years and they are great to deal with and I’ve never had issues with their poultry. I’ve gone over to the freedom ranger bird though they are slower growing but I’m not raising them for market it’s for ourselves. The last time I bought Cornish cross I was grossed out with them, I don’t know if it’s genetics or what but I don’t have weird growth, bad hips or heart attacks anymore!
You have to take a calculated risk to get the answers no matter what the result will be. It looks good! Makes it easier for people to see and shop and yes, you can drive to a new opportunity on a moment’s notice. Wishing the best.
I've never bought meat at a farmers market. The main reason being I don't know how well that meat was kept frozen before I got it. I know I'm just worrying about nothing and that I should stop being so paranoid, but I just can't help it. This fixes everything I was worried about! I've done a lot of camping in my life, and coolers have let me down on more than one occasion. Freezer though, that's the best thing I can imagine seeing at the market. Great idea!
I enjoyed shopping in the new store today! Lots of variety, lots of inventory and easy. It was a beautiful day for a pop up market. I can’t wait to try the pork chops. It all looked great.
It's a wonderful concept and more convenient for both you and the customers. If I remembered correctly from past videos the issue with the farmer's markets was the lack of foot traffic in the past year more than your set up. Best wishes for the coming season.
I personally think that set ups like your new one will be the future of farmers markets! Great idea! Way more flexibility and takes work off the farmer who has enough to do lol
I would have a side service window installed that raises up. Also, I would put the video display outside of the trailer with some kind of banners. People usually won't walk inside a trailer. It makes them feel like they are intruding. Good Luck!
Just being able to have more product to sell and not running out will make people, customers, very happy. This should work very well for you. Good luck.
Awesome! We started with our new livestock trailer (Ohio laws suck for markets) but now we have an old horse trailer for markets. I imagine we’ll need a bigger trailer after we bring beef into the mix in 2026.
Dang it that's 20 min I won't get back I thought I was going to see a fire. No I'm just pulling your chain , I love the tailor setup seems to be a game changer good luck at the sale keep us posted .... Great video
The trailer looks great! Since you can’t run the AC maybe consider a fan blowing through it to help stir some air for cooling and to help deter flies. I also know a guy that could upgrade it to a 50 amp inlet if your generator will support it
This is how my farmer has been doing it. They set up a table outside for the maple syrup that they create. But all the good stuff is in the freezers. 😮
Great idea!! Now you’re more efficient, if you do well with the trailer, maybe later you can get a little bigger trailer and continue with it, customers will like the comfort of seeing the product before they buy, prayers for your success!!
I've found, as I get older, steps are not my friend, unless there is a railing to steady myself. I love the ramp part in the beginning. The step part gives me pause. But I love the whole set-up :)
You could get the freezers cold at home and use a small lithium ion battery power station to run your lights. No noise from a generator that way unless you need to plug in the freezers again. If so, maybe finding a used RV generator would be a quieter option than a gas generator?
Great idea on the new market venture! I'm sure it will work out great! And Saundra is right. People see how happy your animals are and it will make a difference.
My husband and I love your channel! We love how you are always looking ahead to what is next and how to improve the farm and stepping things up. The trailer is for sure leveling up! Good luck on the maiden voyage of the new set up tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing how it goes 😃
Absolutely amazing, great idea 100%. Only thing I can see causing any issue at all is people will stop to watch the video not allowing flow in the narrow space. Keep the video for sure. I love it. Maybe just put the monitor outside the trailer. It will attract a crowd.
Looks like a really groovy idea!! I love it! I'd definitely come check ya'll out, but I'm in Texas! Good luck tomorrow! I'll be watching to see how it went! Blessings and Much Love my dear brother and sister! 🙏✝️🛐💜
Hello Chuck and Saundra, here in west Tennessee, we have a farmers market that runs usually 5 days a week through most of the year. We have a few vendors who use trailers set up much like yours and they do a great deal of business and are also small family diversified products. I really pray that this venture works as well for you as I know it has for others. Blessings to you and your family, Bill and Cate 40 Shades of Green Farm
Just found your channel. Love the farm and the farm store set up. Hope all goes well. See you again. Also love the chicks. I grew up on a farm in Illinois. We had a variety of farm animals including 1000 laying hens. We started the chicks out in two brooder houses and then transitioned into two large buildings.
I think it's a great idea a friend of mine wanted a way to pack her goodies up for the farmers market and a few other places I seen an ad saying that they were selling school buses I told her it would be a great way to transport her stuff she bought one for $1,200 It was in great shape she did need one tire and one fuse she took out the seats and put in freezers and a refrigerator it went over fantastically she's been using it for 5 years.
You guys are brilliant! Love the set up. We may try to come out early for some beef but tomorrow is our first processing day for chickens on our farm so should be busy. Wishing the best for you guys keep up the amazing work
You got this.. that is a great idea and will work out great!! It's better to be able to see the product better when you make a purchase instead of it being in a cooler and its a hit and miss on if that the product the purchaser is wanting. Will save time as well.
It looks amazing. Good luck. Just a thought… maybe add a small red and white stripe around the top to tie the old look in with the new. Love watching your videos.
I like it looks great. The one thing I would be concerned about is, the doors and liability. Especially the exit door. If it has been raining and the back ramp door is wet or the wood stairs. People are going to have their products they in their hands.
I think your new market concept is great! It looks like it will be easier for you & more streamlined. I bet your first customers will like it also. Congratulations! Wishing you much success!
Having the tv monitor showing the farm is going to be a nice touch to the new trailer. Not only do they get to know who raised their food they will also be able to see how healthy the environment is.
Chuck and Saundra that is the ticket for the concept of the market! Question: What are you going to do about the products that are in the coolers? Are you going to keep the products in the coolers or will you be putting it back in the walk-in cooler? My suggestion would be keep it in the trailer and add to it as you sell them because whenever you decide get up and go to the market you are all set up and ready to sell!
Looks great! Here’s hoping the pudding tastes good lol Maybe attatch a roll up awning to the top rail so you can take payment under a roof. Good luck with it
The concept is solid, the trailer looks great & since you didn’t pay a lot for the trailer, if it doesn’t work out you’ll always be able to use that trailer and the freezers on the farm 👍
I did kinda the same thing year. Bought a new glass top ice cream freezer. Build a wheel board to ramp it on and off the trailer. Your set up is outstanding. Great minds!
Neat idea, I've been thinking of doing it myself. Here in Florida we can avoid needing a commissary to sell mobile food products (our farmed meat) if we have freezers that are "homed" in a trailer. I wish you luck and will definitely be keeping an eye on how it works out for you.
Great idea!!🎉However, speaking from experience selling other products out of a similar trailer, someone inevitably (accidentally) steps off the high side of the ramp. I highly recommend putting a removable rail on each side of the ramp. An added benefit is that it will help with traffic flow as well.
Did they get an injury?
I think the video and/or pictures of the farm and how the animals are raised is a great idea!

Love the “not counting the chickens”comment. Laughed out loud!
Just the speed and ease of set-up will be significant. The product though is what customer is there for. This is just another step up in production. God Bless your hard earned work.
The “magic” is indeed inside. This new setup will definitely “wow” your customers. 👍🏽
I hope so!
Great idea for the new setup! I hope the launch was successful and hopefully it works without a hitch.

I'd add a nailing strip or those removable hooks and hang pictures of the farm above the freezers. Pic of cows over the beef, etc.
You have to take a calculated risk to get the answers no matter what the result will be. It looks good! Makes it easier for people to see and shop and yes, you can drive to a new opportunity on a moment’s notice. Wishing the best.

Love it and Saundra’s idea of the monitor scrolling pictures or even your RUclips videos!! Great work guys! ❤
That trailer idea, is fantastic! That will streamline things very nicely!
I enjoyed shopping in the new store today! Lots of variety, lots of inventory and easy. It was a beautiful day for a pop up market. I can’t wait to try the pork chops. It all looked great.
Great market setup! You all are trailblazers! Congratulations on a great idea!🎉🐂🐓🐖
If don’t ever try you’ll never know. Trying new things is a great thing 👍👍👍
It's a wonderful concept and more convenient for both you and the customers. If I remembered correctly from past videos the issue with the farmer's markets was the lack of foot traffic in the past year more than your set up. Best wishes for the coming season.

I love it. You nailed it as the customer wants to pick and shop product.
That is one sweet trailer. I like the idea that you can see what you have. I will be praying for you and that it is a success.
How absolutely fabulous and looking so professional and next level. Congratulations 🎉
Dang it that's 20 min I won't get back I thought I was going to see a fire. No I'm just pulling your chain , I love the tailor setup seems to be a game changer good luck at the sale keep us posted .... Great video

I like the new setup! Good luck guys!
Seeing your dog the Blue Heeler just lay in the middle of that field was precious ❤ I really like your new Mobile Farm Store!!
I love the idea of having a video of your farm on the wall! People like to see where their food comes from.
It's a fantastic idea! I hope it pays for itself in short order!
Great idea on the new market venture! I'm sure it will work out great! And Saundra is right. People see how happy your animals are and it will make a difference.
The new chicks look really, really good! Plump, fluffy and active! 😊
I love the movable market. Well done.
My husband and I love your channel! We love how you are always looking ahead to what is next and how to improve the farm and stepping things up. The trailer is for sure leveling up! Good luck on the maiden voyage of the new set up tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing how it goes 😃

Now THAT is stepping up your game! Congratulations on MOVIN’ ON UP! Tim in northern TN
Looks like a really groovy idea!! I love it! I'd definitely come check ya'll out, but I'm in Texas! Good luck tomorrow! I'll be watching to see how it went! Blessings and Much Love my dear brother and sister!

Absolutely the right way to do it! I would always want to pick out the product myself.
My son would love that old truck. He has been rebuilding a 1970 pickup.
That's high speed, low drag right there!
Good deal, sounds good, should work. Prices on the wall over the appropriate freezer. With a camper awning over the exit door.
Looks you have a winner on wheels Pete. Looking forward to the results vid.
That really looks promising, Chuck and Saundra! I wish you the very best of luck on the maiden voyage of your mobile store.
Take care and God Bless.
Can't wait to see how well the trailer works!
I think it is the right move. There was one where I live at the farm days . It worked great
Just found your channel. Love the farm and the farm store set up. Hope all goes well. See you again. Also love the chicks. I grew up on a farm in Illinois. Love the new market set up hopefully it works well for u 🇳🇿❤️🙏🏼

You guys just took what I had in my mind and made it reality!!! I love the trailer setup. Can’t wait to hear the results.
The market trailer looks like a big expense, but it looks amazing!
That’s a great new market setup. You may want to strap those freezer in so they don’t travel around with bumps and turns.
Good luck tomorrow👍
Was great to see you today! Nice new set up!
You guys are brilliant! Love the set up. We may try to come out early for some beef but tomorrow is our first processing day for chickens on our farm so should be busy. Wishing the best for you guys keep up the amazing work
I can't wait to see how it goes--- It looks like a great place to shop!
Wow I love that new trailer. I think it's gonna great for yall. Great video today. ❤❤
You got this.. that is a great idea and will work out great!! It's better to be able to see the product better when you make a purchase instead of it being in a cooler and its a hit and miss on if that the product the purchaser is wanting. Will save time as well.
I really like your concept and wish you the very best with it.
The new setup is fantastic!!!
That's the way to go perfect set up good luck
Love the mobile grocery store!!
See you tomorrow in Clemmons!
It looks amazing. Good luck. Just a thought… maybe add a small red and white stripe around the top to tie the old look in with the new. Love watching your videos.
Awesome !!!! Idea … Great change …
I like it looks great. The one thing I would be concerned about is, the doors and liability. Especially the exit door. If it has been raining and the back ramp door is wet or the wood stairs. People are going to have their products they in their hands.
Now THAT is a great set-up!! 👍

I think it is a good idea. Should make things alot easier.
Woo-hoo! The Lewis family's gone high hat! It was time for a change! Wish you both great success with it!
Having the tv monitor showing the farm is going to be a nice touch to the new trailer. Not only do they get to know who raised their food they will also be able to see how healthy the environment is.

You need to put up traffic pattern signs, ie: enter, exit, etc. the entrance needs to be the most inviting. I think it's a good plan.
Looks great! Here’s hoping the pudding tastes good lol
Maybe attatch a roll up awning to the top rail so you can take payment under a roof. Good luck with it
Chuck that's a great idea.
Love the idea of your mobile store. It looks clean and modern. Wish you guys all the luck in the world for tomorrow’s inaugural run!
Everything looks good, planning on seeing you both tomorrow at the Clemmons pop up market
Beautiful pasture.
The concept is solid, the trailer looks great & since you didn’t pay a lot for the trailer, if it doesn’t work out you’ll always be able to use that trailer and the freezers on the farm 👍
No doubt in my mind, you will make it and excel!! Love y’all and y’all are my inspiration!!
Wow, that is a sweet set-up.
It's all a great idea..
I would definitely shop with you. Looks great!
Beautiful market set up.
PERFECT!!!!! way to go . You're going to do great. Praying for the both of you.
Game Changer...Can't wait to see the first video after the first sale day.
I think it looks great. A lot more to sell and eazy to setup. Will cut your time down with more $$$$$ coming in "I think"
We have a couple farms in my area that do that and the line up is always long. Pray that it works well for you guys
New setup is great
Awesome new set up it must have been Sundra's idea, lol
I'm just kidding. Good luck, guys .
Thx for the great videos.
Great idea on the trailer!! I love it.
Nice! Wish I lived near y’all!!!
I think it's a great idea using the trailer as a mobile store.
I did kinda the same thing year. Bought a new glass top ice cream freezer. Build a wheel board to ramp it on and off the trailer. Your set up is outstanding. Great minds!
Chuck that trailers is slicker than snot..hope it works for SPF...
