My friend once said "David Bowie always chooses the best and most talented bands to sing with. Any band he sings with are super awesome!" He was right- NIN, Blur, Arcade Fire, Placebo etc etc have all been joined on stage by Bowie, and all are awesome.
Bowie is singing this with such a feeling and passion. I adore this performance and adore how Bowie's voice is heard from the underneath with very distinct vibrations like a voice you would recognize in million voices. This song resonates with his persona so well, it creates a very Bowie-like atmosphere while staying true to Placebo's style and identity. I adore both Molko and Bowie and consider myself lucky enough to be living when I can enjoy this. Absolutely magnificent, gives me goosebumps every time.
Wow ty for ur honest from ur souls thoughts about a genius I truly admire n miss ,never wi ll I get the privilege of a live show. 50th birthday was out a site ,lights were def Bowie influenced. Genius look it up he's one of a kind....

Bonjour...
I was there that night @ Wembley Arena. Unfortunately I though id leave a little early to miss to the rush out... only to hear Robert Smith was coming on stage and couldn't go back in. il never forgive myself.
I just have to write it. Bowie always knew who to 'visit' at a concert... Every time I see this, I look at Bowie's face when it comes at "I take the plan and spin it sideways...". HE'S LOVING IT. THEY BOTH DO! IT'S A TREAT... THANX.
The great thing about Bowie was he was always happy to experiment, embracing new music styles etc, a humble person who would work with and embrace other artists, This is why he will always be one of the most amazing musicians to have ever graced our earth.
David had a deep understanding about other artists. He felt that they were all working on the same platform, which was expressionist Art. David was not in competition with other artists--the more the better, he told us all.
The most humble and self-deprecating music/actor/phenomena that lived within the artistic world . I'm still not over losing him, unique, risqué and such a wise man. He is such a great loss, there will never be anyone like him in the the music/rock scene and a true gentleman to boot.
David was always very generous with his music and his time. No doubt he loved the whole band and the lyrics to this particular song must have spoken to something inside of David...you can see it on his face...
Ciao Valy ❤️
i always tear up at this song, the moment Bowie touches brian's hair and he looks like his child my water broke nevertheless... Bowie was amazing. so humble and lovely
Bon, je peux me "planter ",mais le fait que Bowie chante avec Placebo, j'adore........ L'humilité et le plaisir de la complémentarité, pour moi ça fait un moment magique...... Merci à eux !!!!!!!!
Well, they were "fabulous" back then indeed. I watched them a couple of months after this show, same black dress and all. First gig of my life and still one of the top-10 I've ever watched.
I'm 28 years old and watched this video already lots of times within severe years. Brian was 27 yo when this shit happening. I don't know man. If I were him, I will addict drugs too. Feelings.. Feelings are struggle.. It's very powerful. It's a great success for him. Just imagine and replace yourself with him.
Amazing live performance with an amazing collaboration and cause it's the first and you can say that is a historical moment in the music history and scene ever.....!!!!!!!!!A historical music document....!!!!!!
As a child of the 70's, the music of the 80's was incredible. So much variety, all fantastic. Then it got sanitized? Dunno. But never seemed the same. Didn't feel like there was much great in the '90's. I was wrong. Discovering Placebo for the first time in 2021. Feel like I was missing out.
Fantastic. David Bowie recognizes himself in Brian Molko when young. Like his musical godson.. I really think that's the relationship they have. And of course they are great! Both of them, the whole band, Placebo and David Bowie aka Ziggy Stardust. Kinda watched this out of nostalgia, still as fab now as it was back then. And a big fuckin' Thanx U for the music! (no.. no Abba, sorry) :)) xxx

I've only recently found this. I wish so much I could talk to my uncle about it. He was the one that had all the music when I was growing up. Too late now. Thanks, David, for the clubs in Manchester when I was 15+.
Total worlds collide moment. My fathers teenage idol with my teenage idol. Imagine being in that concert hall and not even realising the moment in music you’re witnessing
Now I am the same age with molko. I keep listening placebo since 2007. He was singing a song with bowie at my age, what am doing? I am drinking beer smoking weed now... I can't believe it. If I were him, I could be dead now. And that hair touch at 5:38, that was mindblowing and saying lots of things.
You don't have to be popular or talented to be happy. You have your own way, why compare yourself with someone? I wouldn't want to be Brian. I wish we, you and I never had to write such painful, depressing thing as lyrics of this song.
God! I had a lump in my throat watching... I'm no performer but kudos to Brian for keeping it together with David Bowie on that tune... shheessh. Burned on my cortex.

Bowie defending Blur when everyone was overhyping Oasis is only a proof that he knew real talents
And the Incredible Freddie Mercury and Eddie Vedder. ..... speachless. ...
He also joine with Maynard James Kenan in Disco King.
Don't forget His great friend Klaus nomie
He had great taste.
