Bumrah is unquestionably the best bowler India has ever produced, just in terms of quality and effectiveness. His stats and records might never reflect that, but we Indians know it in our hearts and minds.
There are many things that Pak brings to the WC tournament like fantastic fast bowlers, colourful players, good crowd etc but now it seems they also bring the art of losing when winning was easier.
@@thetoporderpodcast Why at every WC both teams are always grouped together? Bcos it’s a money spinner for ICC . For this match, ICC got USD20 Million. ICC knows this particular match will guarantee a full crowd wherever it’s played.
Afghanistan are not easy beats at all and NZ played very poorly, particularly in the field. Will take a much improved performance to beat the West Indies and keep their chances alive
While discussing New Zealand Afghanistan match you dwelt a lot on NZ you did not talk about the innings of Gurbaz who played fabulously which deserved better appreciation.
Yes fair point - we NZ fans were very disappointed with the team’s performance so focused on that, but yes take nothing away from Afghanistan who were excellent. We spoke very highly of Gurbaz on the previous episode - he made NZ pay for those missed chances.
Good question - they seem to value Axar and Jadeja’s batting on these wickets and also Axar’s style of bowling is well suited to the conditions. Tough call though because Kuldeep is also a great bowler!
Don’t be surprised if US beats India as the Indian top n middle order batters are not in form except for Rohit n Pant . So, if US gets a score of 140-150 , India might struggle to chase it or India gets below 130, US chase it down. India certainly are not in the favourites category now but look more like a Semi Finalist
@@thetoporderpodcast In sports anything can happen as we saw when US played Pak plus US has the extra incentive to beat India to qualify for Super 8 and the Indian origin players have a personal milestone to achieve. The US capt is former U-19 player for India
@@roobanloganathan6498 you think bcci & ICC will let the USA beat india...lmao.....this wc is already looking rigged for india since icc is desperate india wins something big ....wait & watch

He’s certainly awesome to watch from a neutral point of view. Such great skill.
Arguable the best the world has ever produced definitely the bowler who has made the most impact around the world on the shortest period of time

What a great crowd it was at that Pakistan India game!

Bumrah is so so good. It's truly remarkable.

Great podcast man, such good insights!

New Zealand! First match Your perform What happening 😆
Not good! Will need to be much better in the next game.
How on earth did NZ lose to Afghanistan? I had them reaching the finals with Australia..I really don't know anything any more!

Wondering why are they saving Kuldeep for?

Such a disappointing performance from NZ - hoping for a huge improvement on Thursday.
Fingers crossed!

As well as USA have played so far it would still be a big surprise if they beat India!

Can’t even win at home and since 2011 yet you saying Jay Shah orchestrating here. Think you need a psychiatrist help.
