That's good speed out of that little 200cc. I installed a 16 tooth front sprocket in my Lifan Xpect 200cc. I tried the 17 tooth front sprocket, before the 16 tooth. I achieved better performance out of the 16 tooth. Stock the Xpect comes with a 15 tooth. It's a 5-speed transmission.
@@nomoreblahblah yeah sometimes the gearing gets too tall for the horsepower of the engine to pull it. It’s good to experiment to the best gearing for you and your situation. The Lifan xpect is a cool bike, how do you like it?
Hi David, Yes I am, I think it is the perfect match with gearing to HP. If you plan on doing a lot of high speed highway riding then you might want to consider the 17 tooth sprocket. But for me the stock OEM gearing is what I will be using for now on.
@herbiesgarage681 what's the stock front tooth size? 16 or 17? And what would going down a size in the front actually do? I hear it can help with acceleration off the line or like torque in the low end
@@herbiesgarage681 so a 15t front that's 1 down from the factory/ stock sprocket so it'll what have more power or torque down low or accelerate faster down low or?
@@mattboyer4360 The 16 tooth sprocket comes stock on the Kpm. But if you need the new sprocket then use my link for the 17 tooth and put 16 at the end of the JT number
Why did you do a valve adjustment on this? And the chain in the description does it actually do anything? Compared to the one it came with?.. these have an oil filter? Do you have any videos of you doing a complete oil change on this yet?
Valve adjustment are an important part of proper maintenance. I wanted to make sure that mine was perfect for best performance and fuel economy. The stock chain is fine, I just like to put RK chains on my bike because they are cheap insurance, bad things can happen if a chain breaks. Although the stock chain on this bike seems really good. It does a an oil filter and a screen filter both. I do have a complete oil change video
@herbiesgarage681 thanks! Also thank you for replying to everyone of my comments on multiple videos yesterday. I learned about the kpm 200 and love it even more after watching your videos so I've followed ya and look forward to anymore kpm 200 videos you may make in the future
@@herbiesgarage681 did you do a valve adjustment when u first got it or after a bit of miles? And because it needed it the engine sounded off or ran like crap or just because ?
@@LedosGarage I did a valve check and adjustment pretty early on, only because I want to make sure that my bike is perfect. 😁 It ran good right out of the box, no problems at all
Hey herbie ! Santana here, im going to get one of these friday. Are you able to order all the parts you need offline if something ever breaks ..? If so can you share your website ..?
@@SantanaSaenz Hello Santana, and congratulations on getting you a new bike, the KPM is an awesome machine. You can get any OEM part from Venom motorsports that you might need. Also I use KPmoto club, AliExpress, Amazon, engtb.com. But honestly I haven’t had anything break yet, but those places should be good resources. Let me know how you like the bike! 👍🏻
@herbiesgarage681 thank you kerbie !! I will let you know after a few days of ownership! Do you ever need to fill the water tank ? It's water cooled right ? Haven't really found anything about it
@@SantanaSaenz When you first get it and assemble the bike it will come with a bottle of coolant. The radiator is pre filled but be sure and check and fill as necessary and also the reservoir tank needs to be checked and filled but only half way on that.
Was the wind against your back?
Love that bike. Enjoy your weekend. God Bless you Jerry.
No, actually there wasn’t much wind at all. Thanks I love it too! You Jaya great weekend as well, God Bless

Use a 93 octane fuel and a octane booster fuel additive. You will get an additional 2mph.
